The Hoxton Hotel, London

Good option in shoreditch, but don’t expect luxury. Breathtaking loud Disco music in non fancy restaurant, small room, to the backyard with some ongoing noise during night time (garbage and bottles disposal- which of course needs to happen during the night). In total overpriced.

Location. East London is not my normal London territory, so it was nice to explore Hoxton, Hackney and new areas. Plenty to do and see. Much more interesting than West End.

Housekeeping was average. Left my fridge door ajar and I received one small towel and no footmat on second day.

Everything was terrific with the Hotel. Awesome staff, lovely room! The location was just a little far from everything.

Small rooms, slightly dated now, no usb plugs, just one on a radio. No breakfast included for the price.

Lots of choice for eating and drinking in the hotel. Handy for Old St Tube. The price was reasonable for London

The room was very dark.There was nowhere to plug in hairdryer near a mirror, a mirror in the lift up part of the desk would have been ideal. No cleaning at all unless requested which for 4 days seemed odd.

The hotel is well placed for the city and Shoreditch. It has a good lively atmosphere and breakfast OK. Room was small but not unusual for London standards. Only disappointing is that room only has water and tea/coffee and absolutely nothing else to eat/drink

Lack of facilities in the room

Loved staying here, the vibe is excellent and the rooms are so well designed and so much attention to detail.

Nothing. a few suggestions: 1. There was only milk and water in the mini fridge, some other goodies would be nice to have in there 2. The service on the rooftop bar was slow

Fantastic location in a great part of the city. The bar, restaurant and communal areas are all really good.

The room was a bit small and cramped. It could do with some refurbishment.

+ Incredibly friendly and obliging staff. Extended my check out courtesy of the house, call the elevator for you, welcome you with a smile every time. Way to go! + modern decoration + very comfortable bed and pillows + beautifully decorated bathroom + incredibly nice lobby area to sit, chill, relax, spend time or have some good food.

+ Airco is difficult to regulate. + no yogurt option for breakfast + you hear some creaks and thuds here and there throughout the night

I asked for a quiet area and it was very noisy, it was hard to sleep with a baby with people partying

The toilet for a couple is a bit meh as there's zero soundproofing. Tip just turn the music up

Yes please. I would like to know what/who is Ennismore and what/why they make so many deductions from ones credit card? I know your hotel is associated with them.

The most comfortable bed and pillows. Best sleep in a hotel in a while!

I may have needed to cancel at the last minute due to my caring responsibilities and I contacted the Hoxton to explain a family member was unwell, and there was no flexibility about needing to potentially cancel or understanding. It was a robust stance to their cancellation policy without acknowledging that sometimes things happen and people may need to change their plans for legitimate reasons. There was also tea and coffee making facilities but no milk in the room and no fridge. I felt like it was a bit overpriced for what it was, but still a good place to stay save for the customer service issue referred to above

The athmosphere of The Hox is unique, you can enjoy amazing common spaces at any time during the day to work, to read a book or just to relax. The restaurant on the Rooftop is really good and with a stunning view. The staff is incrediy nice

The front desk staff was great--very helpful, friendly, easy--anything I asked seemed like no trouble at all.

Loud banging in halls with doors slamming open and shut in the early evening. A couple fighting in the hallway in the middle of the night. I kept debating asking for a quieter room but in the end stayed. Room needed a bit more space to put luggage, etc. Even a few hooks would help.

Hip young vibe, nicely located in Shoreditch, tastefully decorated rooms, friendly helpful service from front staff.

The breakfast was not very good and service not great given the little amount of hotel guests vs staff…not very attentive….waited 10 min for a coffee and food was cold (eggs and avocado toast).

Checkin, staff, problem solving - we'd only booked for one night by mistake - was all fantastic! The location is one of my favourite areas in London (I was actually born nearby) and easy to reach all the cool corners and hangouts!

The room was to the inner yard - allegedly quieter than the street but there was a huge air con unit outside that ran 24/7 - loudly... The room was a little "tired" the desk scratched, remote battery didnt work, and the bed too soft that it slumped towards the head board. All this for the price paid was not expected...

It’s a Hoxton. Very comfortable, lovely common areas.

Understaffed bar and restaurant. Food was so so, very disappointing considering the food offerings in Hoxton Paris and Barcelona.

Nice ambience, decor, etc. bathroom and room was immaculately clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed.

Not the warmest of welcomes at check in but polite enough. Breakfast expensive with a long wait and stone cold.

Downstairs is incredible. Bars and breakfast are superb. Staff are helpful and friendly. Great location. Loads of great eating spots nearby. Allow hourly extensions on vacate day. Can communicate with front desk via text. Great vibe.

Don’t stay street side if you want to sleep. The noise from the dj downstairs pounds until 2am. Fun when you are downstairs but not when you want to sleep. Rooms are not sound proof. Had guests in the room next door talking until 5am. Could hear every word like they were in our bedroom. Courtyard side of the property is quieter. Guests from the room next door walked into our room via an adjoining door that wasn’t secured properly at 3am. Staff though were very good at compensating for lack of sleep and very quick to respond to this.

The room felt a little dark and gloomy. And it was very noisy. My room shook with every door that opened and closed on my corridor which felt like it was constant. Also, no gym in a hotel this size was disappointing.

Loved the friendly staff, perfect location in shoredich, music in the room as you walk in, beautiful garden cafe. The lobby is so lively and always full with live dj sometimes i strongly recommend even if youre not staying at the hotel

I hate to say anything negative about the hoxton but the bed was too small for two and bathroom door doesn’t provide privacy so it was difficult to sleep

The location of the hotel was good and it was useful to have a cafe and dining option in the hotel. The rooms were nicely sized and had everything you need for a couple of nights.

It did very much feel like you were staying in a co-working space whenever you walked through reception. The pillows were really very flat.

The staff at the Hoxton, Shoreditch are a joy. Always a smile and a hello, ready for a chat, and so helpful with check-in and check-out. The rooms are stylishly appointed, with a large shower room. The communal areas are lively during the day with great service.

* Bathroom door doesn't seal, so not a lot of privacy. * Wi-Fi was a bit intermittent in the lobby.

The lounge and the roof top was a plus and the room was really comfortable. The hotel employees are really sympathique and always ready to help.
