Modern but room requires a little TLC

Small room. Access difficult. Very limited reception service and room keys disabled (apparently due proximity to phone)

Small rooms and it felt a bit claustrophobic as the rooms and bathrooms are small.

The bathroom was very strange. With shower feeling like you are in a separate cupboard. No where to hang towel in the shower cubicle part. So have to come out naked which is not ideal when sharing with a friend

There are a lot of positives to the property. Location is excellent, staff super helpful, rooms cleaned daily and beds are huge (and very comfortable).

There’s not a lot that you can dislike, the decor was not to my taste but certainly provided conversation between us.

Fun decor - the theatre theme was memorable! It’s a great central location, with a metro station very close by. Our room looked out over the square, with a sea view - some distance away. Generally comfortable room - with a nice comfy bed.

The room was small, with enough space round the bed to get around. It helped that there was a spacious built in cupboard where we could store the luggage. The flush for the loo was very dodgy. We were shown how to remove the cover and flush using the exposed mechanism behind! Not so elegant…

Nice room and good location overall. Not in the centre of town so you have to walk up hill to get back, but other that that it was good.

The location was pretty central to everything but far enough out to have some cheaper bars and restaurants nearby. The room was large, clean and comfortable.

It could be a little noisy with the restaurants and bars underneath and could do with a little bit of tlc

Bed sheet did not cover the bottom of the bed? Sink did not flow, it filled up/over flowed before you had finished cleaning your Teath. If you understand what I mean.

Location was excellent with easy access to main tourist sites.

There was no provision of milk or tea bags or coffee or tissues. Coffee pods were available at 2.5 Euros each which is excessive especially when milk was not provided. The bathroom sink did not drain properly and the provided two glasses were chipped. When the glasses was mentioned to reception, they were not replaced as we were told they would be. The staff were generally unwelcoming and quite glum. The pillows were very hard and no kettle was available.

The photos look way more lush that the reality !! WiFi not working in the rooms - the working are is literally a glass box on one of the floors !! The room was not cleaned properly (hairs in the bathroom, dirt on the floor) The air was musty but it wasn't exactly great to keep the window open during the night due to noise from outside In general, I wanted to treat myself to a night at a nice place and managed to get almost 40% off their regular price. However, I would never pay the full price for what they offer. I should have trusted the reviews here.

Great location but wifi was terrible. A jug and cups were provided but no tea or coffee. Room was big but way too many mirrors - especially in the bathroom.

I liked everything except one thing. And this is a very big MINUS and PROBLEM - THE INTERNET🤮

Very comfortable mattress, hotel's place is incredible close to the all types of activities.

Awful water pressure in bathroom, hard to clean yourself after walking in such a beautiful city, hot water comes from the crane after long time (20 min), mini bar disappointed, prices, choises of drinks, in room for 2 person only 1 spoon, lack of dishes, bad ventilation system in bathroom, such a small soap for 2 person, bathroom's cleaning things doesn't equal other hotel in this money limit

i was traveling by myself and had a lovely stay here. the room was nice and clean, with the location being right in the centre which was fantastic! i think it was good value for money!

the only thing that was negative, was there were a few times when the room smelled a bit of food (and i believe that was due to the restaurant being below), however not to the point where i would want to leave, but you could smell it.

Through our stay of 6 days the Wifi wasn’t working

It was good overall, really enjoyed the location , since we were only in Lisbon for 24hrs I feel it was a good area to stay and get everything we needed at walking distance.

The only unusual thing about this property is the bathroom set up, you can kinda see through the door and hear everything because doors are made out of glass and don’t even fully close.

There is no bathroom privacy as the door is clear glass, you can see into the shower and toilet from the room.

The position is really great, close to everything (subway, touristic hotspots, bars and restaurants, ...).

Cleanliness could be improved.

We didn’t have any clean towels at first, but the problem was solved quite fast.

The room was a lot smaller then i expected. I requested 2 single beds I had to separate as the 2 beds were made as one . Would just have been nice not to have to do that when i arrived.. LOVED LISBON

The shower and toilet felt like a very shoddy job. Shower “in the bedroom” that does not contain the water. On a carpet floor. Perhaps not the best idea. A lot of spots on the pillows (likely from something, not someone) 🤞 Btw, mirrors are cool, but not on every wall perhaps?

We were on a busy corner, but when the balcony doors were closed it was very quiet and we didn’t smell the (yummy) food from the restaurants below.

The shower didn’t drain well and there wasn’t enough counter space in the bathroom… a soap dish on the bathroom wall & shower stall are needed…and towel hooks outside the shower stall.

Location was spot on! A couple minutes' walk from the nearest Metro stop (which was less than 30 mins ride from the Airport, and only £1.50pp!) and about 10 min walk from the centre of Lisbon. The room was fun, there was a definite theme and staying in the old Theatre felt special - especially seeing the "wifi booth" which was an old ticket booth, and the lifts which had the old-fashioned shutters! However, the room was clearly tired, and the shower had a poorly fitting door and a showerhead that needed a serious descaling because the water fell from the showerhead and splashed all over the bathroom floor causing rot in the doorframe to the bathroom, damp carpets in the room, and a very wet bathroom floor. There was shampoo but no shower gel or conditioner and it just felt like the room needed a bit of love. If it wasn't so expensive, we would have forgiven the areas for improvement, but unfortunately, when booking a suite and paying over €400 - you do expect a little more. Staff were friendly and we loved that we could leave our suitcases at reception on the day of arrival/departure so we didn't have to lug them around Lisbon (if you're not aware - it's super hilly, and cobbled pavements everywhere, so you don't want to be moving a suitcase around + luggage stores are not super cheap).

There was a coffee machine in the room, but they charged €2.50 per coffee. For perspective, it was only €3 for a coffee from a cafe! Needless to say, we didn't bother making one. Plus the spoon was dirty which was immediately off-putting. It's a shame, as we love a tea/coffee first thing in the morning, but given the price of the hotel, we refused to spend extra for this basic facility. Additionally, the lifts were very hit-and-miss - if you have any reduced mobility I would be cautious; we had to walk up all 4 flights of stairs each time we wanted to go to our room. There wasn't anything exceptionally bad, it just really didn't feel like we were getting what we paid for.

Lack of toiletries when clearly advertised as included. Only a small bar of soap and a bottle in the shower saying shampoo when questioned apparently it was all in one. Not what I would expect in a boutique room.

The room was large and had a lovely view of the sea and Lisbon. The style was dramatic and there was lots of cupboard space and hangers. There was a large bottle of water and some snacks there for free and more snacks and drinks in the fridge at a low cost. The location was great.

There is no sign on the outside that this is a hotel or rooms or anything, so you have to know the number. The showerhead is not well placed as when you turn it on it goes all over the floor and door if you have it closed. The paint on the door is all bubbled up where it has got wet. The staff could have been more forthcoming.

Attention: if you get Room 21 or 25 change it. You hear knocking noises from the water pipes around the clock. You can t sleep peacefully. There are only one rain shower. If you don't want to wash your hair you're out of luck. Recommendation: look for other hotels
