The shower and toilet felt like a very shoddy job. Shower “in the bedroom” that does not contain the water. On a carpet floor. Perhaps not the best idea. A lot of spots on the pillows (likely from something, not someone) 🤞 Btw, mirrors are cool, but not on every wall perhaps?

Did nit care for the decor. Black and gold with mirrors.

We were on a busy corner, but when the balcony doors were closed it was very quiet and we didn’t smell the (yummy) food from the restaurants below.

The shower didn’t drain well and there wasn’t enough counter space in the bathroom… a soap dish on the bathroom wall & shower stall are needed…and towel hooks outside the shower stall.

Location was spot on! A couple minutes' walk from the nearest Metro stop (which was less than 30 mins ride from the Airport, and only £1.50pp!) and about 10 min walk from the centre of Lisbon. The room was fun, there was a definite theme and staying in the old Theatre felt special - especially seeing the "wifi booth" which was an old ticket booth, and the lifts which had the old-fashioned shutters! However, the room was clearly tired, and the shower had a poorly fitting door and a showerhead that needed a serious descaling because the water fell from the showerhead and splashed all over the bathroom floor causing rot in the doorframe to the bathroom, damp carpets in the room, and a very wet bathroom floor. There was shampoo but no shower gel or conditioner and it just felt like the room needed a bit of love. If it wasn't so expensive, we would have forgiven the areas for improvement, but unfortunately, when booking a suite and paying over €400 - you do expect a little more. Staff were friendly and we loved that we could leave our suitcases at reception on the day of arrival/departure so we didn't have to lug them around Lisbon (if you're not aware - it's super hilly, and cobbled pavements everywhere, so you don't want to be moving a suitcase around + luggage stores are not super cheap).

There was a coffee machine in the room, but they charged €2.50 per coffee. For perspective, it was only €3 for a coffee from a cafe! Needless to say, we didn't bother making one. Plus the spoon was dirty which was immediately off-putting. It's a shame, as we love a tea/coffee first thing in the morning, but given the price of the hotel, we refused to spend extra for this basic facility. Additionally, the lifts were very hit-and-miss - if you have any reduced mobility I would be cautious; we had to walk up all 4 flights of stairs each time we wanted to go to our room. There wasn't anything exceptionally bad, it just really didn't feel like we were getting what we paid for.

Lack of toiletries when clearly advertised as included. Only a small bar of soap and a bottle in the shower saying shampoo when questioned apparently it was all in one. Not what I would expect in a boutique room.

The room was large and had a lovely view of the sea and Lisbon. The style was dramatic and there was lots of cupboard space and hangers. There was a large bottle of water and some snacks there for free and more snacks and drinks in the fridge at a low cost. The location was great.

There is no sign on the outside that this is a hotel or rooms or anything, so you have to know the number. The showerhead is not well placed as when you turn it on it goes all over the floor and door if you have it closed. The paint on the door is all bubbled up where it has got wet. The staff could have been more forthcoming.

Attention: if you get Room 21 or 25 change it. You hear knocking noises from the water pipes around the clock. You can t sleep peacefully. There are only one rain shower. If you don't want to wash your hair you're out of luck. Recommendation: look for other hotels

The room wasn’t what I had expected But ok

Brilliant location, clean and comfy. Reception staff were friendly and helpful though there was a problem with our original booking for a taxi which we made through reception, it was quickly rectified once we had queried it. The hotel is in a great location very close to restaurants and the metro and I liked that our room had a theme - Pepe Nappa. The room was modern and decorated in white, black and silver. There were tea and coffee facilities which had a charge and a fridge with goodies in too (charge) and there was a complimentary bottle of water which was much needed after travel. There was no breakfast included but plenty of cafes a short walk away.

The shower opened straight into the room so you need to be happy being naked in front of your room mate or friend as you towel off and get dressed. Toilet and shower were behind patterned glass doors so not a lot of privacy. It looked very modern and swish but logistically was a bit uncomfortable for me and probably more suitable for an intimate couple than friends. There was not a lot of room between the bottom of the bed and the wall meaning you had to crab walk sideways to get across the room. There was plenty of room beside the beds though and 2 big storage cupboards for clothes as well as a safe.

The shower didn't have proper draining, so you could only take 2-3 minute showers and wait until it drained :(

Close to all the main attractions

Door key kept locking us out which was a challenge when reception wasn’t manned. Apart from that - good value for the money.

there is a front desk and always there to help, the room is quite clean.

the room is a bit small, if you have two persons with big luggage, it's a bit crowded.

Staff could have been more helpful as I was from another country & struggled with the language barrier

The location was really good, you could walk anywhere and tons of restaurants to choose from.

The A/C was not strong which made the room hot and stuffy at night.

Well, we were upgraded on our arrival and that was a great start. The front of the hotel and the reception area were - to be honest - a bit underwhelming. However, the receptionist was really helpful and kindly arranged our taxi for a 4am drive to the airport next morning. Which was great value too at just 25 Euros. The clincher though was the room. Very clean, well air-conditioned and remarkable value for money. The location was great as well - allowing us to stroll down to the river that evening and stroll back through Santa Maria Maior and Augusta Street

The sink design is not functional and water splashes all over once the tap is turned on. No hooks for towels or clothes. The air con was not working and the repairman came at 10:30 pm to fix it.

The property was very well located, so we could walk or catch public transport everywhere! The room was clean and large enough for the 3 of us to fit comfortably.

It was in a great location. The girl at the front desk was super helpful and super sweet.

Could never get the TV to turn on or off. The bathroom was not conducive for two friends traveling together. The shower opened up to the bedroom and the bathroom had a see-through glass door.
