The hotel is beautiful. The art work from Delfin is glorious. The setting is the best in Lima. The neighbourhood is fun, lively and safe. The staff were generous and helpful. Overall staying at second home has been the highlight of our trip to Peru

The views of the ocean, the comfortable bed, the artwork everywhere, the sound of the waves at night, the smell of firewood in the great room, the perfect location and the friendly and helpful staff. It is not just a wonderful hotel, it's an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful location. Easy to walk to restaurants and the view of the ocean and listening to the waves is amazing. The art and vibe is wonderful and relaxing. Included a nice breakfast.

Staying here was a complete delight. Was amazing to look right out to the Pacific and we loved the art and the peaceful gardens. Great neighbourhood for a relaxing, foodie weekend in Lima. Felt safe and comfortable. Great breakfasts (and cocktails!) and a really friendly, helpful team. Staying at Second Home was one of the highlights of our trip.

Incredible views, simple but delicious breakfast. Quiet, clean. Very well communicated, walkable to coffee shops, restaurants and all things barranco. Must visit if you are an art lover. Being surrounded by Viktor Delfins artworks and design made it a memorable experience.

We felt very taken care of. We loved our room overlooking the sea. The breakfasts were delicious and they made sure we were fed on the very early morning of our departure. There was beautiful art all over the property😊

Sitting above the Barranco cliffs in Lima, a small colonial building, reasonably well equipped rooms, some with brilliant view, good breakfast, great staff, e.g. Luis, the helpful and super friendly guy who seems running the hotel's daily business. OUTSTANDING however is the atmosphere created by the works of the artist Victor Delfin who lives and works in the structures on the cliffs right below the core hotel building. All common areas including lobby and pool as well as the guest rooms are decorated with Delfin's paintings and sculptures. Luis can arrange a tour of the workshop and adjacent rooms of the artist -> by all means: do not miss it! PS: Victor Delfin is the creator of "El Beso", the sculpture in the Love Park above the Miraflores cliffs. PPS: I stayed 2 nights.

One of the most charming places we've ever stayed! The neighborhood is fantastic, and Second Home is such a unique space. We loved being surrounded by all the artwork. Great rooms, nice breakfast, kind staff who arranged taxi rides and let us store our bags for a post-midnight flight.

The location was superb. We were within easy walking distance of restaurants and parks and the views were unmatched. The property is unique, filled with art at every turn.

This is THE PLACE to stay in Lima. I struggled whether to stay in Miraflores or Barranco and SO HAPPY I chose Barranco. It is so much more charming and historical. And, this is THE PLACE to choose in Barranco! Such a beautiful old guest house that oozes charm and ambience with great nooks everywhere for enjoying a pisco sour, a book or just gazing at the beautiful Pacific! The views are spectacular, the service is first class and the rooms very large and comfortable!!! Great breakfast every morning to start your day. Ubers are everywhere to take you where you want to go if you want to visit old town Lima and miraflores is walkable or a short ride away! Barranco is a super safe neighborhood! I love old historic properties so much better than new sterile hotels and this one was probably our favorite of any where in the world and we travel ALOT! Just book it!

Welcoming, comfortable, safe, and beautiful environment with incredible ocean views, sunsets, and inviting outdoor spaces. Breakfast that consisted of eggs, bacon, fresh bread, fruit, and coffee was served daily on the outdoor ocean view patio. It truly felt like a second home. Property is walking distance to coffee shops, shopping, and parks. Several fantastic restaurants are within one to two blocks of the property. The staff was very friendly. If you have the opportunity, sign up for the private art tour and collection of Victor Delfin, the famous Peruvian artist whose works are celebrated throughout the city and property. Management arranged for transportation from the airport and to our secondary location where we met our tour group.

Luis was an excellent host and we loved the location. We would love to stay there again for our next visit.

This little boutique hotel is a very special find. Gorgeous art everywhere, on the cliffside overlooking the ocean. If you are down at the seaside looking up, this stands out as the most lovely place of all of the cliffside hotels and Airbnbs. Truly unique!

Because this is a historic building, there is little to no sound insulation. It is at the dead end of a quiet street however, so it is no problem.

Breakfast for two mornings was the same, no variation.

The breakfast was really nice - coffee is available early and self-serve, breakfast consists of amazing crusty bread, eggs and thick bacon.

When we checked in, the staff was a bit rather distant. Too late check-in 1500 and too early check out 10. There is no time to enjoy the pool, which is only open from 10 till 18... unless you book for a few days.
