Good restaurant, surprisingly good gym, nice roof top pool. Staff was friendly and efficient

Variety of food at breakfast. Was able to take a couple of sandwiches for lunch before flight. Swimming pool. Staff extremely caring and helpful.

Well appointed room with kettle, a real 5 star hotel in Peru

Instead of a study table with suitable lighting, there was an odd round table in the room and no table lamps. Makes it difficult to use my laptop to work on properly for a business trip.

Maybe they were out of tables being APEC

Great location with helpful staff and a wonderful restuarant. Staff went out of their way to get us transporation from our cruise ship to hotel far surpassing support from cruise personnel.

Everything was perfect

We had a fabulous stay in this hotel on our last night in Lima which just happened to coincide with my 50th. The staff was terrific and treated me to cake to the room and at breakfast. The breakfast was one of the very best we have ever experienced in any hotel across the world with abundant choices for even the most particular tastes. We dined in the restaurant on the evening and had our best meal in Peru. Couldn’t recommend a stay here highly enough.

It was our first stop for our trip to Peru. The hotel facilities and service was very good, specially the breakfast was excellent, top quality. We got our room free upgraded and thanks for the free Pisco sour at rooftop bar. We enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again.

The lights in the room could be more brighter.

Breakfast was great. It offered a lot of options. Rooms were comfortable and one of the best beds I have slept in in a a while. Location was quite convenient, near restaurants and main roads. All the staff were cordial and well trained. Highly recommended.

There was a construction site nearby, although it’s not under the hotel’s control it was a bit noisy early in the morning but nothing terrible.

Location is great in the best district of Lima in San Isidro . Breakfast and restaurant is delicious .

Pool was cold and bit dirty it needed cleaning .

The room was spacious and soundproof, and the bed was comfortable. It is in a very good location in San Isidro, but it is an area of offices and private residences, so not much options of eating out around in the evening, at least by walking distance.

There was no main light on the room ceiling, we had to rely on the lamps, so the overall light mood is dim.

Also, we had an issue with the reception: we used a card for the guarantee but wanted to pay with another one. The reception told us they would have to make a "symbolic charge to validate" the first card before cancelling (first time in my life that a hotel has asked me) but we didn't want to make any charge because of expensive bank fees for overseas operations. A reception manager appeared and tried to solve the issue, but she was aggressive in her way of communicating. In the end, they had to request the cancellation of the guarantee via phone with the card provider. This whole charade cost us a solid 30-minutes and almost made us lose our transportation.

Hospitality's fine art, in every detail shown,
In Hyatt's embrace I lay, as if in home my own.

From lofty heights, the city's heart in twilight's golden glow,
A tapestry of lights and life, a vibrant, pulsing show.
Here memories are woven, in threads of joy and ease,
A traveler's haven, calm and bright, designed to charm and please.

So, to the Hyatt Centric's doors, should fate my steps direct,
With gratitude, I'll enter in, respect and fond regard elect.
For in its walls, I found much more than just a place to stay,
A chapter in my journey's book, a light along the way.

In the gym with treadmills lined, a runner's dream unfolds,
Yet for chest and shoulders' gain, equipment sparse it holds.
Paths for feet in steady stride, in abundance they do rest,
Strength of upper frame, alas, finds lesser tools at best.
