El Golf Hotel Boutique, Lima

I arrived very early after 3 flight change, very tired and they just store my luggage, and don’t let me use restroom and didn’t provide me cup of coffee or tea . It was January 1st and all cafe, stores, restaurants were closed . I spend around 2 hours to find some place ,where to take cup of coffee. Then they provide me room between kitchen and trash room. It was terrible! Very loud, no rest

The hotel staff are excellent and breakfast was great. The hotel is very comfortable and quiet. Great value for the price.

The location was good

The night shift dude employee was incredibly rude. They gave me a room next to the reception and when i complained about their squaky chair in reception the employee told me I was too sensitive to noise and I should've mentioned that in my reservation. Im not too sensitive the noise was coming even through my ear plugs.

It was good value for money. I expected a room that looked more like the pictures on the website, but the room was clean and comfortable.

I thought the breakfast was expensive for what it was.

My wife and I have been stayed at El Golf Hotel a number of times over the past few years. We like the fact that the halls are carpeted, which can make it quieter. The women at the front desk have been very helpful in arranging taxis for us to places in Lima and the airport. We have tipped them as a result.

El Golf Hotel Boutique didn't respond satisfactorily to our complaints: There was an all-night sex party in the room immediately below ours that ruined our sleep and traumatized us one night during our last stay at the hotel. Just think about hearing vividly audible gasps of sexual pouding and climax -- because that's what it was. Another night there was an all-night party next door and the overnight manager only moved us to another room after testing the noise decibels in our room. He should have moved us right away.

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Small patio with a little pool perfect to relax in the fresh air. Location good and close to a market and within walking distance from the shore. A/C and wifi were great

A gem of a hotel in San Isidro. This is a wonderful small hotel. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The common areas are elegant and striking. The staff was incredibly helpful with everything I needed. It is closer to the airport than Mira Flores and is a great place to stay after arriving in Lima, or to be closer to the Larco museum. It was highly affordable for such a nice place. I prefer a hotel with charm and character over many of the cookie-cutter options. I look forward to staying here again!

Great value for money, beautiful decor, comfortable room and lovely quiet pool. Staff were really lovely and accommodating and let us check out a bit later to enjoy the pool on our final day in Lima. 20 mins wall away are great restaurants and bars and the general area felt very safe with security guards around the streets and various properties. The best place we stayed in Peru!

Location is just perfect for me, Breakfast good enough, Room was very clean and comfortable. Resturant very handy I come back from my tour at 10 pm, they still servicing dinner for me, they can say NO but just very helpful. I feel like stay at my own place.

The room, and especially the bathroom had a difficult layout: not easy to manouvre once inside. Insufficient lighting for the washbasin and the mirror. Mirror was too far away from ledge of sink base. Hope this helps. Oictures show pool, never shown the use of.

El Golf Hotel – Room 122 I’m so happy I chose El Golf hotel to start and then to finish my 2 week trip at high altitude. To be able to relax at sea level before and after, and to enjoy the lovely little swimming pool and quiet neighbourhood, was perfect for me. The staff were wonderful too, courteous and punctual, and helpful with my questions. And when I couldn’t find a restaurant in the area, I was able to order from a wide menu in the hotel. Lovely broad breakfast too. Thank you so much. PS: I was concerned that I would be surrounded by golf-playing guests (I don’t play!). But all the other guests were quiet and polite too.

One downside was mediocre cooked meals. Breakfast fine, but standard of meals not so good. Not terrible, just less than the hotel quality would suggest

Tried to charge more than bookings.com had said - for additional tax and a fee for staying longer than 60 days in Peru. Was a difficult beginning.

The swimming pool was very dirty, couldn’t access.

I cant say enough good things about this place, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is great. The staff is excellent! I got really sick one day and they were very attentive, even called around to find a Dr to come to the hotel a Sunday evening.

The hotel was in a very quiet safe location. Lots of trees and flowers in the area. Short Didi ride to Miraflores.

The Golf Hotel is in a great location, has great amenities and was a lovely stay all around. The room was spacious with enough space for our 2 week stay. The air conditioning was great and kept the entire room cool and comfy. Their staff was very lovely, attentive and had a great breakfast with varying types of eggs and natural fruit juices. The neighborhood itself is also really nice, a 3 minute walk to a grocery store and some nice restaurants on the main avenue. While it’s a safe neighborhood, the hotel took an extra step in safety and always has locking front doors which are manually buzzed opened for you by the 24hr attendant.

The relaxing and quiet vibe in a smart neighbourhood. The rooms are airy and very clean.
