My room was a bit smelly which gave me the impression that sewerage may not be draining well

Lovely hotel, good location, excellent breakfast, very clean.

Staff on reception weren’t overly friendly or helpful. Luckily Concierge were great, especially Eduardo. Marked it down as our room was next to air conditioning system which was very noisy, blacked out window to hide it so no natural light. Building works going on so banging and hammering all day couldn’t think straight when in the room. Shame as we were returning to Lima and would have rebooked if they had been more accommodating.

The staff is kind and always nice. The breakfast is really good.

Room large but old fashioned - all the plugs the old slot type and though they give you an adaptor in a 5 star I expect modern plugs and USB points. The room lighting is dreadful. The room generally dated. The gym is poor. I’m sure some people love this hotel but I wouldn’t return.

The hotel and the staff are perfect! From the front desk to the concierge - they do not leave any stone unturned to make you comfortable. Definitely will visit again and this time for a longer stay.

Very comfortable bed

Referred to as a Tower Suite. It was hardly a tower because it only went 4 floors high and the elevator went only to the 3rd floor and then you had to take the stairs to get to the suite.

The bellboy seems to be more Interested in his cel phone, that in his work

A beautiful hotel in the financial centre of Lima. Breakfast was superb and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful . We felt safe walking to Milaflores and being out and about

Beautiful old polo club house in a very safe area of Lima.

Isn't a lot around the hotel so be prepared to uber or walk to get to a bar or restaurant

The staff is what makes this hotel so special. Breakfast is one of the best in the world! Excellent quality, great variety of food - including peruvian staples.

There were some maintenance issues that we have not had on our previous stays. They were taken care of once we brought them up. Seems like they are putting less attention to details.

I love the old building and the furniture. Very nice to see antique pieces of art preserved. Breakfast on the terrace is a good experience.

The service at the breakfast was not attentive. Waiter passed by with the coffee pot several times and did not stopped to offer me some. I asked for an expresso and it came late, after I asked a second time and it was cold, without cream.

The concierges were the best I have ever seen. Mr. Nelson Espinal went above and beyond to get us great reservations and make our stay comfortable! Nelson along with Jaeco and doorman Juan Carlos are beautiful people who make this hotel our favorite place to stay in Peru.

What a wonderful place to stay on our first 2 nights in Peru. Everything from the welcome to the staff and meals was superb. We used the travel concierge who sorted us out with an excellent private tour, Maria, that we thoroughly enjoyed. the bed was comfy and the room spotlessly clean.

Being really fussy we were in the first room in the corridor and the noise of other guests moving/leaving in the morning woke us up but nothing really to complain about

End-to-end luxury experience; from check-in (which includes complimentary champagne) to check-out we were treated so well with polite smiles, attentive, professional service, friendly suggestions and answers to all of our questions. The collection of colonial furniture and paintings peppered throughout the property only added to the beauty of the hotel. The location in San Isidro was perfect….quiet yet centrally located for visiting all of the other areas of Peru. Walking distance to the famous Astrid y Gaston restaurant.

Nothing really! Everything was fabulous.

The hotel lives up to its reputation: tasteful decoration, excellent location and very good service. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms have double-glass, almost completely isolating the noise.

We were upgraded to a new classic king room, on the ground floor and facing the backyard. The window was very small to have natural light. The wifi network was unstable and disconnecting every other moment. The bath tub did not have a hose to rinse oneself. The electric outlets next to the bed were difficult to plug.

A traditional hotel that has been kept up to a very good standard, making it one of my favourite in Lima. Comfy beds and stylish rooms. Also, while there was an issue with the room I had originally been assigned, I got an upgrade to a nicer room which is always appreciated, and the person who dealt with that situation was very professional throughout. Indeed most staff (from doorman through to cleaner) were very friendly and professional.

Pool is really small. The person who managed the check-in was a bit unfriendly (contrary to the rest of the staff) and didn’t warn me of some funny business with exchange rates that I only became aware of while checking out and de facto added c.10% to the stated post-tax USD price.
