A beautiful hotel in the financial centre of Lima. Breakfast was superb and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful . We felt safe walking to Milaflores and being out and about

Our room was lively but situated terribly…frosted window opened above mechanical space and air conditioning units…ugly and toi loud to keep window ajar

Beautiful old polo club house in a very safe area of Lima.

Isn't a lot around the hotel so be prepared to uber or walk to get to a bar or restaurant

The staff is what makes this hotel so special. Breakfast is one of the best in the world! Excellent quality, great variety of food - including peruvian staples.

There were some maintenance issues that we have not had on our previous stays. They were taken care of once we brought them up. Seems like they are putting less attention to details.

We had the most amazing stay, super comfortable, clean and nothing was too much trouble.

I love the old building and the furniture. Very nice to see antique pieces of art preserved. Breakfast on the terrace is a good experience.

The service at the breakfast was not attentive. Waiter passed by with the coffee pot several times and did not stopped to offer me some. I asked for an expresso and it came late, after I asked a second time and it was cold, without cream.

Beautiful and big lobby, lots of small shops and cafes close to the hotel. The staff at the reception was very friendly.

It’s quite an old hotel. The bathroom needs renovations. The hotel is a little bit overpriced.

The concierges were the best I have ever seen. Mr. Nelson Espinal went above and beyond to get us great reservations and make our stay comfortable! Nelson along with Jaeco and doorman Juan Carlos are beautiful people who make this hotel our favorite place to stay in Peru.

What a wonderful place to stay on our first 2 nights in Peru. Everything from the welcome to the staff and meals was superb. We used the travel concierge who sorted us out with an excellent private tour, Maria, that we thoroughly enjoyed. the bed was comfy and the room spotlessly clean.

Being really fussy we were in the first room in the corridor and the noise of other guests moving/leaving in the morning woke us up but nothing really to complain about

End-to-end luxury experience; from check-in (which includes complimentary champagne) to check-out we were treated so well with polite smiles, attentive, professional service, friendly suggestions and answers to all of our questions. The collection of colonial furniture and paintings peppered throughout the property only added to the beauty of the hotel. The location in San Isidro was perfect….quiet yet centrally located for visiting all of the other areas of Peru. Walking distance to the famous Astrid y Gaston restaurant.

Nothing really! Everything was fabulous.

The hotel lives up to its reputation: tasteful decoration, excellent location and very good service. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms have double-glass, almost completely isolating the noise.

We were upgraded to a new classic king room, on the ground floor and facing the backyard. The window was very small to have natural light. The wifi network was unstable and disconnecting every other moment. The bath tub did not have a hose to rinse oneself. The electric outlets next to the bed were difficult to plug.

A traditional hotel that has been kept up to a very good standard, making it one of my favourite in Lima. Comfy beds and stylish rooms. Also, while there was an issue with the room I had originally been assigned, I got an upgrade to a nicer room which is always appreciated, and the person who dealt with that situation was very professional throughout. Indeed most staff (from doorman through to cleaner) were very friendly and professional.

Pool is really small. The person who managed the check-in was a bit unfriendly (contrary to the rest of the staff) and didn’t warn me of some funny business with exchange rates that I only became aware of while checking out and de facto added c.10% to the stated post-tax USD price.

The building is beautiful and the restaurant is great.

It was truly a great experience. Rooms are spacious, pristine and elegant. The breakfast buffet is really good. However, what it made it truly special was the kindness, professionalism and attention of all the staff. Every time, they made an extra effort to take care of anything and everything, including an early check -in, due to our flight early arrival in Lima. Lourdes in the front desk and Ismael at the restaurant were great but indeed, all staff were amazing. thanks !

an outstanding stay in a fabulous building, with very friendly and attentive staff who makes you feel at home which is great when coming with a child. very good customer service!

the property was incredibly glamorous. the rooms were spacious and everything was of the highest quality.

the property is not close to shops and places of interest. we needed to get a taxi to downtown.

Top notch hotel, with professional staff who are efficient and ready to assist. All staff met during our stay were fluent in English. Spacious, well furnished and impeccably decorated room with an oversized bed with a choice of pillows that will suit all kind of sleepers. Delicious and vast buffet breakfast with very attentive staff. Hotel is located in a very quiet upmarket area.

This hotel was perfect.

we were able to check into our room early in the morning which was fantastic after flying from Australia. the Hotel is amazing and we loved it.

unfortunately we were not able to dine in the restaurant as they had a lot of Xmas bookings so they put us in an annex outside where people were smoking and vaping. it was most unpleasant and spoilt our dinner . I was surprised that as house guests we were unable to secure a table inside.

The rooms were fabulous, so spacious and extremely comfy. The food was delicious and staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The room was extremely spacious with a huge, comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with a great shower. The hotel is in a lovely colonial style building, and we had a private terrace rather than just a balcony, which overlooked the neighbouring golf club with parrots and peregrines flying overhead. Service was attentive and very helpful, and I enjoyed using the small, well-appointed gym in the basement, next to a beautiful kidney shaped swimming pool and terrace. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of food including good coffee, pollo saltado, sparkling wine and very tasty pastries.

I stayed in late August, which is wintertime, but I've never been in Lima when it has been so cold (a La Nina year). Having dinner on the terrace didn't work for me as the heaters weren't adequate and food was cold before it arrived at the table. The two musicians who were singing/playing in the terrace bar looked very cold too. More seating should have been found inside when the main dining room was full instead of having guests huddling around tables in thick coats and looking very uncomfortable. In hindsight, I wish I'd ordered room service if there was no availability in the dining room or bar.
