SLS Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

We loved our stay! We were in the Mara Tower, room#2845. The room was clean and spacious. The entry way has lots of room, including complimentary water, a refridgerator and a coffee machine. Large bathroom with everything you would need, including a very big shower. Large living area with a big TV, big sofa and coffee table. King bed with 2 nightstands with self closing drawers. Seperate double closet area. One side for hanging clothes, including storage above and a iron & iron board. The other side contains several shelfs, 4 drawers, and the safe. In between those is a bench with a large mirror. A solid lineup of resturants and bars, including a Starbucks and a seperate coffee/pastry shop. Spacious casino with high ceilings to make it almost seem smoke free. (and I smoke cigars!) Easy access to the Monorail, which we used often.

I would have liked a slightly better matress. Maybe it's just my prefernce, but I thought it a little soft. The curtains didn't completly block out the light. We're early risers, so it wasn't that big of a deal. But for people who want to sleep in this could be a issue. Aldo, there's a learning curve to working the curtains. :) Would have been better if the TV stand turned a little further towards the bed. All this little items combined i've made a -1. This room is amazing!

It's a lil bit far from most famous hotels, but its not a problem. It's possible to walk around and walk.

No airport shuttle

Its was stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were spotless.

A little more signals would have bene helpful - exit here for carpark, exit here for the strip. We did a lot of walking around the hotel, but we figured it out.

The room was clean and nice and everything was close.

One of the elevators was out. Only one elevator and tgere was a line to get out.

The hotel had a nice 4‑star vibe without the high price. I appreciated how close it was to the monorail for easy transportation. The Filipina front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The parking area had low beam elevation, which made it feel a bit unsafe to navigate. Even though the parking was free, the clearance was uncomfortably low. Improving the structure or signage would make it more reassuring for guests.

Hotel was clean and well kept.

It took 55 minutes standing in line to check in, and when I finally got to the desk the room that I expected and paid for was not what they gave me. It was advertised as a smoking room and that wasn't correct. I had planned for golf and cigars with the fellas and that wasn't the case. It felt like false advertising and I could've made other choices.

Comfort, view, location

No Free breakfast

Very nice cosy room, with a large comfortable bed, a long counter to put things on, two armchairs, a fridge, good lighting, nice bathroom. We got a good price for the one night we stayed ($94). We had an excellent pizza dinner at Balla in the hotel. The Sahara is a little north of the main part of the Strip, so you need to take a Deuce bus, but there's a stop right across from the hotel. Also, it was really convenient having an Enterprise car rental branch inside the hotel.

Breakfast was not included in the price. We had a good but pricey breakfast at Zeffer's Cafe in the hotel.

-rooms were clean, newly renovated i think -area, not a busy one, relatively close to sphere (driving) -staffs are nice -free parking

-a/c doesn’t cool -during our stay only 1 elevator worked -the main light in the room keeps on blinking (I did not complain about it during our stay since we are usually out, but it would be nice if all of these were something i dont have to report) -the elevator can be accessed without the key card

A pervading smell of cigarette/cigar smoke throughout

Quiet and clean room, nice view, attractive decoration. Exactly as described in the hotel description. I slept well for the entire duration of my 4 night stay. Great value for the price and perfect for my conference attendance. Luckily I learned from the reviews that the room does not have a way to make coffee. I came supplied with instant coffee, milk and a mug and made my own coffee using hot water from the faucet. Worked just fine. The room has a small refrigerator.

I got the corner room on the 11th floor which is perfect. It is quiet and I don't have to ride the elevator for too long. The room, bedsheets, towels etc are also clean. The shower water pressure is perfect.

I spent over an hour waiting to check in. It's very inconvenience considering that I was also very tired from long plane ride and jetlag.

Overall everything was really pretty clean and a great value. It was perfectly situated for our trade show. Everyone was very friendly.

The pillows were horrible bricks. We asked for an additional pillow and it was just as hard. The mattresses were also extremely firm. After a long day of walking on hard floors the mattresses were not relaxing or restful The carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed before our arrival.

I loved everything about Sahara and next time I come to Vegas I will be staying here again. The room was nice and clean and comfortable and the housekeepers came in and cleaned our room daily. Will absolutely be back!

All food options expensive, resort fees are ridiculous to have, Microwaves need to be a thing again. Shuttle to airport does not say it needs to be scheduled in advance. Early check in charges

The toilet and the shower were behind a sliding closet door, which was very inconvenient. If one person was using the sink, they got hit by door by the person coming out of the toilet.

Room and hotel were beautiful! It was clean, staff were friendly. It was a great place for this price. Good deal. Casino area has great ventilation so even walking through it I wasn’t smelling cigarettes as it does in most of casino+ hotels in Las Vegas. Also parking was easy and free (without any ticket validation).

Our shower didn’t have warm water, more like lukewarm and it was weird to turn on. However we stayed one night so we didn’t request change as we discovered it prior to checking out. Also, we waited over and hour to check in- there was many desks but only 2-3 people were working.

The restaurants inside the hotel were very good. It was quieter than most hotels in Vegas, but still very lively.

The Alexandria was very trippy, from the hallways to the room. It took a min to get used too.

The bed (king) was very comfortable.

Check-in was ridiculously long. More than 40mns with only 2x guests in front of me in the line…

Not walking distance to other attractions, but it was still good. Registration did not accept my confirmation number because it had my nickname. I was forced to plead. I was told a flat no. Zero kind words like, “Hmm, let’s see what we can figure out to help you.” I had to demand a manager, but was harshly told at desk, “This is a one time chance.” I probably won’t be staying there again.

The roof top pool was heated during the winter and the view from my room was great.

The main pool and jacuzzi were closed for the winter.

It was used for CES, and it was convenient because the monorail station was directly connected, making access easy. It was also more affordable than staying in the city center, which was great. I would like to use it again for the next event I attend.

The building is not particularly new, so the age of the facilities was noticeable, but it was not to the extent that it caused any problems.

The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a quiet night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth, staff were friendly, and the hotel felt refreshed and well maintained. The overall experience was easy and stress-free.

I have no complaints! If anything, adding a classic Vegas-style show like Splash or Folies Bergère would be a fun bonus.

The location an the facilities are excellent.

The room wasn’t the one we booked, although it was bigger (an upgrade), it wasn’t furnished for a family.
