SLS Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

The room was clean and just the right size for my husband and I. The hotel is located a little ways off from the main strip but the Monorail access made all the difference! Definitely take advantage of this perk. It rained on one of the days during our stay and the Monorail allowed us to still explore other hotels/locations without having to be out in the rain at all. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

There was dirt behind my bed, bed was not very comfortable. Carpet of room was wet and there were no slippers provided. Pool area was closed for season.

The room was good. They moved us to a "better" building but honestly, I didn't like it that much because it didn't have a bathtub. Overall I liked it, the hotel is beautiful and has convenient stores inside the building

There was no bathtub. I was too tired to ask for a change of room. The staff mentioned if I wanted to pay extra for an upgrade, so I'm not sure if they upgraded us or downgraded us for not paying extra.

Great location to explore both downtown and the strip from. The room was really nice and had a great view and the bed was very comfortable.

The room had not been vacuumed when we arrived, there was quite a lot of debris from the previous occupant on the floor. We went out to allow them to clean properly, when we returned several hours later the room still had not been cleaned which was frustrating. House keeping then sorted it out and we could unpack, as it’s such a huge hotel things can get lost in the system of requests!

Good location that’s not far from the Strip. You don’t pass through casino to check in or go to your room, so that’s a plus for me. The bed is incredibly comfortable, my wife and I slept so well.

Loved all the restaurants, 24 hour bar, food, competition to Starbucks coffee option, close to Walgreens, fridge and comfort. Loved early Che k in option and free parking. Had a baby and it worked out great.

Expensive mai tai 18$. Mini store did not have milk or alcohol.

The hotel is very nice and clean, having many services on premises and having access to the monorail station from inside the hotel makes it very easy to move around the city.

It took too long to do our check in and get the room. When leaving I asked for late check out because check out is 11AM which is too early but they did not approve. The room did not have any tea or coffee and it is not made up daily.

Staff was friendly and helpful, all facilities were clean and nicely decorated, price was outstanding, location was perfect for our needs, access to transportation was convenient - especially liked that it was a short walk to hop on the Monorail and to the ride share area unlike many hotels in Vegas where you have to walk for miles. Very quiet, relaxing property for a Vegas stay. Dining within the casino was excellent as well.

The room was quite small, but staff did explain we could upgrade to a bigger, newer room for a fee. We just opted to stick with our original booking/price. The room was very cute, clean and satisfactory for a short stay. We liked that the "old rooms/tower" were a very short walk to the pool, Starbucks, and the Monorail station. However, it appeared one of the elevators for that tower was out of operation for our entire stay, so we had to wait quite a while to get to and from the room.

The view from the 25th floor was beautiful, especially at night, and the elevators were quite fast and readily available. The bed linens and towels were clean. The hotel's location near the northern terminus of the monorail is also very convenient. So, if you value this and want to use it, this is the perfect place.

This was our third time at the Sahara, as it offers good value for the price for a maximum of three nights in Las Vegas—but nothing more. Don't think this is a luxury hotel, even though it wants to appear that way. Besides, not everything has improved since the renovations. The pool, for example, is a joke compared to the poolside before. There was trash from the previous guest under the closet in our room. Even though the three of us had booked a queen-size room, there weren't enough towels provided and constantly only 2 mini bottles water were provides per day. At the reception, you can be extremely lucky or incredibly unlucky with who you meet. Not everyone there has been through the friendly training. The Starbucks in the hotel charges an average of $2 more for everything than regular branches, and yet breakfast there is still cheaper than eating at the breakfast restaurant, since the hotel doesn't have its own breakfast service. The bar charges exorbitant prices for bad drinks, and having to order at the bar feels a bit like a hostel. The mattresses on the beds are ultra-soft and, in some cases, saggy. I'm also not a fan of sliding bathroom doors if they create 3cm-wide gaps on the left and right that compromise privacy. The faucet on the sink had to be adjusted to a specific position, otherwise it would drip constantly. This position had a maximum range of about 1 mm, so it was a game of skill several times a day. It looks fancy, but it's completely impractical.
