The Cromwell Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

We arrived to check in at 4:30 PM after a 12-hour flight, only to be told our room wasn’t ready but would be in about an hour. We were asked to wait while they tried to fast-track it. We returned around 7.30 PM, only to be offered a downgraded room with no explanation or compensation. When we asked when our original room would be ready, they suddenly couldn’t give any timeframe at all. Not once did anyone apologise throughout the entire experience. In the end, we had to cancel and find accommodation elsewhere. Very disappointing—would not recommend.

The vibe of hotel and the location is amazing.

The Cromwell is really well located, near all the attractions and the strip. The hotel room we stayed in was very spacious, bed extremely comfortable and shower great as well. The only thing I would say it could improve is the lighting because it felt like night even if it was 8am. Nothing major.

Nothing worst stay ever!

Worst stay ever! I have never had so many issues. This was supposed to be my birthday trip and it was completely ruined.

Nothing about our stay was likable.

Even though it was mid 70s and sunny the entire weekend the pool was closed witch is not detailed on Booking so we were surprised with that fact when we checked in after walking 20,000 steps right before being so excited to relax in it. We then got to our room, there were other people's clothing still left in the closet, the closet handles were broken, the entire fridge was unusable for anything they were brought ourselves (If we opened the fridge door it would of charged us $50.) The window in the bathroom was open, the makeshift chandelier was broken. EVERYTHING about our stay was disappointing. Especially for the price.

The rooms were outdated and items weren’t cleaned properly and some things didn’t work (i.e. electrical outlets and tv). Customer service was subpar and no offer of accommodations for the inconvenience.

Excellent location, close to practically everything of interest in the entertainment center of Las Vegas. The customer service was exceptional, beyond what I could have expected.

I really don't remember anything that bothered me; they made me feel great wherever I was in the hotel!

Small and friendly easy to find your way about. Location in walking distance of the best part of the Strip. Aircon was good and did dry you out. Beds are super comfortable, with good support but not too firm. Quiet rooms. Coffee machine was great and isn’t available at some other hotels on the strip.

Shower was poor, hand held shower was leaking in all directions. Water flow from rain shower was weak, though functional. No light controls from the bed.

Central location to where I was meeting my group of friends, plus I booked early and got a good rate

When checking out they tried to charge me again for the Resort fee, as luck would have I printed out confirmation of what Booking.Com had sent me where it showed that showed Tax and Resort fee were included in the price

Location is good; pretty much mid-Strip. Cost was reasonable. Nice room set-up. Noise was minimal at all hours.

Room was dusty and dark. Dust within the tufts of the chair and on the lamps. Floor lamp was damaged and not working - maintenance request for lamp and phone was never addressed. Sink was very slow draining.

Room lighting a bit dim. Otherwise rooms were comfortable. Customer service was great, had a issue with our room on the first day and was looked after very well to compensate for our room issue

Fridge was full of drinks, no place to put my personal drinks in the fridge. If any item removed from the fridge they would automatically bill you $50.

There was rap concerts all the weekend due to we were unable to enjoy the rootop or the pool, that things need to be notified for the guests to decide if booking or not. Those people did not paid what we did.

Staff was very polite and accommodating. Room was beautiful.

Room service didn't show as requested. I was charged different rates for different days.

It was close to the strip, most of the staff were friendly.

The lady who checked us in the first time was very unfriendly and our mattress was very saggy in the middle.

The location is excellent but, we never used the upstairs pool area, but the other properties pools made up for it.

My room location had a view of a parking garage which was a real turn off for my first visit to Vegas as a tourist. Usually when I come to Vegas it is for work and I stay at a much higher end room. This was the first time in years that I had come to town to be a tourist with my wife. I just expected a much better room with a view of something other than a parking garage, especially when I requested it numerous times to your hotel.

Staff at check in were very polite and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy and the location was fantastic for getting out and about. One thing that stood out was the beautiful scent as you enter the hotel and the corridors by the bedrooms.

We were not advised how to access the mini bar or the coffee in the room. We were not told about the restaurant opening times or how to make reservations. We had paid for a room with a view of the strip and we did not get this, more a side view of the Flamingo hotel.

We really liked the comfort of the bed. We were in Las Vegas for 24 hours and we really looking to get a good night’s sleep. Staff was super friendly when we checked in and out.

The room itself could use a minor facelift: the paint, furniture, etc. Also the tile in the shower is rather uncomfortable if you shower barefoot. Also there was trash in room’s trash cans. And there were some used towels under the bathroom sink.

The location is great

The pool was closed the day after we arrived, we did not receive any notifications of this happening. Naturally we were disappointed as one of the reasons for staying was the attraction of the pool.

There is NO sound proofing when Drai’s nightclub is open. I couldn’t sleep till 3am. The bathroom ceiling was peeling 🤷‍♀️🤷🤷🏻‍♂️

Not enough towels in the room. Upon arrival only one of the two rooms booked via booking.com was actually registered at the hotel, over a week on and I've still no idea if I am out of pocket from sorting at the hotel

Exceptional rooms, locations, decor, I love that it's a smaller casino so you can escape some noise. Housekeeping and bell staff were exceptional.

The access to the pool is extremely misleading and not available most of the time or includes in resort fees. Staff were very rude when discussing with them. More details of all pools needs to be clear on website and booking websites. Once approached with the manager after getting no where with reception I was comped a few days resort fees which I appreciated.

No microwave or other option to cool or warm up food. Minibar prices extremely high. Balcony window doesn't open.

Overall, very positive experience. We enjoyed the Giada hotel and spent the day at the Drais pool. Beautiful views, plenty of food/bar options. Limited shade options, but the staff was very accommodating. It was not very busy due to being a weekday.

The food/drink prices are pretty high but that was anticipated. A tip was automatically added to the bill - 24% if I recall.

The original room assigned was dirty and dusty. The floor needed fixing. We had to wait 2 hours for another room. It was too noisy. Loud music till very late at night. I realize it’s Vegas but you want a quiet time room to rest.

Location was right in the middle of everything. Loved the interior of the hotel and had a great pool area on the roof top. Our first booking was messed up and we didn’t get the room we asked for. We loved the hotel so much we stayed extra nights and paid for a room with a view and king bed which we got.

Spending the first two nights of our honeymoon in a room with a queen bed when we had booked a king.

Beautiful and sexy room. The decor was nice and there was this long quote everywhere that my sister and I really loved. We could use the pools at the Flamingo next door and Caesars across the street for free. The Flamingo's pool was WILD. Not our vibe, but super fun looking! The pools at Caesars were calmer, which we appreciated.

To use the pool at the Cromwell we would have had to pay a resort fee. We were happy to walk next door or across the street to access a free pool.
