The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Older style palatial hotel, very comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Fantastic food in the restaurants we tried.

I would’ve liked a casual bar where you could have a quiet drink and maybe some lighter meals or snack food.

I booked my room for 3:00 p.m., but when I arrived, the staff told me it was still being cleaned. I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes.

I don't really like the shampoo and lotion... why is it watery?

The location is very strategic, but still maintain it’s uniqueness away from hustle bustle of the city. The room is very spacious. I love the bathtub inside with tv attached The two sinks are excellent!

The breakfast choices are quite mediocre for majestic’s standard. Some of the staffs during breakfast are not helpful.

We checked into Majestic Hotel right after we registered our marriage for some well-deserved R&R. The staff were very warm, hospitable, and welcoming. The room is so beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The bathtub is what dreams are made of. The complimentary bath salts were an added bonus!

This hotel can be quite packed even though we stayed on weekdays as it is constantly used for business / work conferences and meetings. Their breakfast buffets are crowded in the mornings with a ton of businessmen.

I mentioned that our staycation here was to celebrate our anniversary. Then I was given a flower bouquet during check in and the room we stayed had the best KL view! Love it so much!

Hotel decorated my room for my 35th Wedding Anniversary and gave me a surprise flower during check-in at a fee to be paid. Small things but matters a lot.

Remembered i asked for King size bed but was given 2 single beds - little bit frustrated.

It is our favorite hotel in Kuala Lumpur, we already have seven accommodation there. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, the food at the restaurant is very varied both at breakfast and dinner. I also recommend the afternoon tea, in a pleasant atmosphere with live piano. We will definitely come back for our next visits.

Everything is perfect. I book a junior suite for my honeymoon. The environment is very cozy and quiet privacy. Besides, its easier to order any outside food. All of the staff are very helpful in assisting us. The best thing is their buffet is on top. Very recommended, definitely gonna repeat!

the pool closes at 7pm so unfortunately me and my partner didnt get to use it but thats my fault i didnt check.

loved how spacious the room was. super comfy bed, sofa and even the pillows. junior suite is worth! breakfast buffet was great with a nice mix of western and local food. plenty of food and delicious!

the stay was generally fine but i would suggest to replace the iron provided in the room. wire is torn out which can be concerning for guests. it would be good if hotel could improve this for safety reasons.

Love the vibes and atmosphere of the place. Staff are welcoming. Breakfast selection is wide and kids eat free. They also enjoy the bathtub and views.

There is nothing to not like about you.However, if there was a shuttle for visitors to go to nearby places like any other hotel, it would have been perfect.

Both the new and heritage sections were very comfortable but different. The food was of a high quality.

The pool was a little disappointing but only a minor factor.

Everything are good from the time we checked in until we checked out. Tq to Su and Kaven the receptionist for attending our request with a smile. Also goes to the housekeeping staff as well as the bellboy. Everywhere we go at the hotel we were greated with a smile by all the staff.

All the staff were incredibly courteous and welcoming. I’ve never experienced such warmth from hotel staff until we met Win at the reception. He was so kind and playful with my kids, and they truly enjoyed their stay because of him. Thank you, Win, for your wonderful hospitality. The breakfast and dinner selections were also fantastic and absolutely delicious. Keep up the great standards ans we’ll definitely be back!

The location and the ambience of the place.

The tight fit and glass walls in the bathroom and the bathtub which took up a lot of bathroom space.

Location is absolutely the best. Staff are really friendly

Suits the name. Very majestic. Been to lots of hotel around KL but this hotel is special. Very premium room , very nice pool with view and the roof garden was a nice touch. The breakfast was wonderful. A lot of choices and they tasted great. Nasi lemak was delicious as it’s Malaysian’s favourite breakfast. Fast check in process and friendly staffs who always acknowledges you every time they pass by. Worth the money.

Paid parking. It’s costs you RM15 per entry which I feel like it’s a lot when you are already spending for staying in the hotel. One day multiple entry for RM15 will make a lot more sense. Or you can easily give a free parking as your guests are actually paying a nice price to stay in your hotel.

The breakfast spread was amazing.. love the coffee section especially. The staff were also very accomodative and friendly. Spacious room and the bed is to die for. Overall experience : 10/10 Would definitely come again.

Can feel the elastic of bed a bit loose but the quit cover and bed sheets is comfortable

Rather small swimming pool. Roads around rather busy and difficult to cross as a pedestrian.

We liked how pretty it was and we got lucky miss universe Malaysia happened at the same time as our arrival

In-room dining for vegetarians was very limited, so we didn't use it

ground staff were courteous, accommodating, and attentive. cafe staff were kind enough to oblige to a last minute change in location for our afternoon tea. bathroom was also exceptionally luxurious, bed was comfortable and the addition of a bolster was nice. restaurant breakfast had a wide variety

tv doesnt have wifi so you can't cast from your phone.... also had a nightmare experience making bookings with their backend staff (not on the ground)

Great customer service and staff were very welcoming and hospitable.

Breakfast finishes at 10.30am had difficulty waking up on time especially on holidays.

Love the Free Upgrade to a Suite in the old, colonial style building. Especially the vintage Claw-Leg bathtub!

Majestic Hotel seems too fixated on charging us for every conceivable, seemingly ‘petty’ reasons. RM 15 per entry for daily parking, extra charges if we request for more than their 2 daily coffee capsules, if we request early check-in or late check-out. Even request for any room decoration for our Anniversary staycation (3 star hotels provide for free!) Despite their Autograph Collection branding of impeccable service to their guests. Buffet dinner and breakfast variety not on par to their status above

At the front noisy traffic all night, the carpet stained and in need of a good clean. breakfast great with a large variety although the cooked food needs to be hotter.

Noisy room

A delightful property, well appointed comfortable rooms, we had a junior suite, loved the bathtub! The pool is wonderful to swim in. There is an abundance of places to hang out and enjoy. Concierge and housekeeping were very attentive to our needs. The service is perfect - so see less you almost d not see they are there.

Nothing to do with the property, but the road noise, especially the extremely loud motor bike riders all night long until around 5:30am…. Nasty.

Had a very enjoyable stay at The Majestic KL. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I really loved the old architecture and classic vibe of the hotel, yet it still feels modernized. A surprise birthday cake right after checkin truly made me happy and added a special touch. Breakfast was great, and overall the stay was very pleasant, definitely come back again.

The only downside was the limited in-room dining options, and the Wok Fried Rice was a bit underwhelming for the price. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future.
