The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Our stay in Kuala Lumpur as part of our honeymoon was at The Majestic Hotel, and it was absolutely lovely. My wife and I loved everything about the hotel. They decorated the room and gave us a beautiful flower for our honeymoon, which was a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated—we even kept the note they wrote us as a keepsake. The hotel is very luxurious, and the tea room was simply heavenly. We tried the couple’s massage at their spa, and it was exceptional. Needless to say, the hotel is spotless, and its colonial style is both classic and timeless. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, with a wide selection of both Western and Malay dishes—everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming. If you're staying in Kuala Lumpur, The Majestic is a must. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel and it was delightful. The suite was huge and so comfortable. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was exceptional with so many choices. Pools were always clean and well attended. We loved it!

The room was quite spacious and the bathtub was nice. The room was clean and the gym was well equipped. The. breakfast was amazing!!! The service was top notch!

Room was quite clean, although the cleaners missed that there were hairs left on the couch, but it's fine. Hotel was pleasantly nice, looking great given it's age. We decided to take a Grab occasionally and also the MRT (Museum Negara MRT) to our destinations which is quite convenient.

Pricey, but expected. A little jarring when the security rang the door and walked in with his shoes on just to put a drink in the mini bar. We can also smell people smoking from the bathroom area. There was a madman yelling in the other room too, which the concierge kindly assisted. You can also hear the road from the room. Soundproofing needs to be improved.

Better train on your staff especially the one handling the contango buffet dinner registration. Lack of knowledge of knowledge and most importantly not friendly at all!

Beautiful historic building, loved afternoon tea in the lounge and listening to the live piano music. Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety. Service was excellent.

Location is a little far from the centre but it was easy to go in and out by taxi so this wasn’t really an issue.

Some of the services were very slow - checking out for example and information on facilities like where the spa is located and if I could purchase goods. Food is expensive.

Lovely staff, beautiful hotel. Great value. Not too far from KL Sentral station. Quieter location than the bustle and noise of downtown KL or Bukit Bintang, so a better night's sleep. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious. Bathroom was enormous with full size free standing bath and separate shower.

Your shower gel and shampoo don't smell very nice, sorry. Everything else was wonderful.

I like the spacious room, beverage variety, bathtub, big bed with 6 different pillows, and the in-room dining food is good.

We had a lovely room with a view of the National Mosque and Petronas Towers (in the distance). The breakfast buffet was great. What made the stay memorable was the service at reception (Sakib and Hamun) when we arrived very tired after our flight. They were so friendly and helpful. The concierge sorted out a taxi for us to go to Penang the next day - they responded to messages efficiently and were waiting for us (by name) on departure. Excellent all round.

This is our second visit to this wonderful hotel. Everything about it is superb, from the top to the bottom. It is so good in fact when we were there the king arrived to celebrate his daughters wedding. No better recommendation than that for sure.

I enjoyed my stay.

Room incredible, comfy bed and loved the bathtub although the water drained slowly whilst in it. Nice pool at the front and could have a drink and enjoy it. Loved the buffet night and breakfast-excellent.

Afternoon tea was lovely but they don't allow children to sit in the comfy area like they used too and that's are favourite place to sit- we paid for the high tea but had to sit in the other area not the area with ambience.

Had unpleasant experience while checking in. As I was told my junior suite cannot have connecting room as per my request earlier-email reply received that my request has been submitted to the reservation team. Ended up paying additional RM468 for the upgrade deluxe suite. Overall others were ok

The hotel lives up to its name—truly majestic. The design, service, and overall vibe made the stay feel special. We loved the classic charm and elegance.

Breakfast could’ve had more vegan-friendly options. It would’ve been great to see things like cold-pressed juices, fresh fruits, granola, or plant-based yogurt. Just a small detail, but it would’ve made mornings even better.

A wonderful stay indeed! We got the corner room with a beautiful view, which was very spacious, comfortable & clean. Also got a free compulsory cake with a few balloons as we mentioned our stay for a birthday celebration. Varieties of delicious foods to choose from during breakfast! Overall, highly recommended to stay here! 👍🏻

Location for our purpose was central and good. Easy to reach

Parking at 15RM a night, for guests could think of doing free overnight parking.

The bathtub is big and clean, environment is good. Staffs are all friendly and ready to help. They even prepared a flower for us as our stay is mentioned for anniversary celebration!

Probably no as my stay is only 1 night and we arrived quite late If must have a bad one will be we can't find menu to order in room dining service.
