The coffee pods are not suitable for a 5 star establishment.
The Pod quality to the coffee machine is below a 3 star ?

The device provided by the employees was exceptional!
The room wasn’t totally cleaned on certain days.; trash was taken out and shower not cleaned.

Lovely, refreshing stay in an Oasis in the centre of a city
The location is perfect and the facilities are beautiful
The staff could do better. We went out one evening and had to hoot and call for the gate to be opened as the guard was not at the gate. This is particularly problematic in Joburg + The Spa reception staff MUST improve. Their attitude was not great.

Lets just say I travel alot and this was worth every cent and more ....Hats off to the team !
Everything was absolutely awesome... wish I could have stayed longer. The staff are exceptionally warm and friendly and they most definitely made every moment spent there a memory. Will always go back when I am in that area. Love it....
There was nothing that brought this thought to mind . ALL my boxes were ticked and i cant fault them on anything. An excellent home away from home !

I thought the room could have been equipped with more snacks/fridge stocked
Was expecting a speaker with docking or blue tooth capability
DSTV selection was poor (Maybe my decoder didn't work)- nowadays movies/series/music/radio on demand is common along with news and sport.
Plug sockets dated - no plug in USBs

Everything is available including restaurants and bar and a spa. So you don't have to go out

Amazing!
The building and garden,(the trees) are beautiful, also the spacious room and bathroom were great.
Thank you for the detail with the rose peddles that was special.
Not sure if there was a letter in the room as requested with phone call confirmation, to congratulate the guests with their anniversary addressed to them. if there was a letter just ignore this, then I am very happy.

Nice but not exceptional
The hotel, gardens and decor is beautiful. The Staff at reception were very friendly and professional.
For a 5Star establishment I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I have the wrong idea about what to expect of a 5star establishment. The bed was made but the throw and scatter cushions were not on the bed but in the cupboard. We checked in at 14:00, I would expect it to be on the bed. The bed wasn’t turned down at night time, they only put a nougat on the night stand.
At breakfast the waiter gave us a choice of either Salmon or ham with the eggs Benedict. I chose ham but the brought Salmon. I told her when she put the food down. Only after my husband finished his breakfast did I get my food. It was only Eggs Benedict, how long can it actually take them to make it? The yoghurt and muesli were room temperature and not cold. Nobody takes out a chair for you to sit as would be expected. I personally feel the service is just not up to par.
