Hyatt Regency Hotel Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

Location

The location of this Hotel is good. Right in front of the hotel entrance is East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR exit (N1 and N2). Can also take Exit D1 from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (Tsun Wan line) to reach the hotel. K11 Art Mall is right beside the hotel. And it is walking distance (abt 10min) to K11 Musea and Habour City. There is many eatery places around this hotel too.

The hotel breakfast was disappointing. On our last night we decided to try the hotel breakfast at a super discounted price because we are hotel guest. To our surprise, a 5 stars hotel like hyatt regency serve very limited choices for breakfast. Lucky we decided to try and pay for only for one day. Rather disappointing though.

very well located in TST district and directly connected to a shopping Mall and a MTR train station. Staff were very helpful and polite and the views from the club lounge were nice.

basic food in the club lounge, some of the lifts were not working or taking you up your floor but then not opening the doors so I had to go back down again and try another lift, not a pleasant experience.

Thanks to the service crews that provide comfortable, clean bed and room. Rest room are clean. Great location to MTR and shopping malls. Good for family.

Daily breakfast buffet are great but the dishes are 90 to 95% similar for 5 day stay. Too bored for my taste buds.

Gym is a bit small

Just a 35 min taxi ride to the hotel and taxi fare is reasonable. Very close to the MTR (underground) entrance. We use mainly MTR to other places; we find Hyatt’s location is unbeatable. The king bedroom is spacious. Mattress is quite firm to our liking. The selection of foods is more than adequate for breakfast. We thank all the staff - Reception, Restaurant, Housekeeping and Baggage Services. You are courteous, friendly and helpful and that make our stay enjoyable. Special mention of Arthur who helped us check out. He explained everything very clearly.

The Reception area can be a bit more welcoming.

The TST station is also linked to the East TST station which is linked to the K11 MUSEA mall - can’t get any better location than this. There’s also a lot of shopping in the underground levels and MTR stations.

** Forgot to add that I wasn’t able to amend my booking to add an additional night so I had to book an extra night ** The check-in process took rather long for some odd reason and the entrance to hotel was rather inconspicuous. My Uber dropped me off at the ground floor and I had to take my own luggage up to the check in counter. Perhaps this could’ve been done better with the concierge on the ground floor helping with the luggages.

The support from the property and Booking.com in unforseen event is exceptional.

The location was very good, very close to the metro station. There were a few places to get food even late at night, which was great. The hotel was also connected to a mall, so that was convenient too. The room was a good size, bathroom was nice as well.

The hotel lacked service overall. There was no one to help us with our bags while checking in or checking out. The hotel also was not willing to accommodate a late check out. The entrance through the parking lot is very confusing for anyone coming the first time or for uber or taxi drivers. The food and restaurant options in the hotel were very poor. The view was very bad from the room. Overall, for the price we paid per night, the hotel was not as luxurious, was very very average looking. The amenties were very poor too and the swimming pool was shut, which was quite sad.

A good location. Easy transport to many places whether by car or public transport.

1. No coffee mugs though there are cups 2. Dust bins are a little small 3. No BBC channel news and no current world sports event - Rugby World Cup. One golf channel is enough two is tasking away from other sports. 4. Gym too small and too many cycling machines.

Lack of in-room amenities. Hard bed that cause my difficulty in sleeping.

I found one tea cup with lipstick mark when I took it out from the draw. Also the toilet is smally.

Great location, hotel services excellent, connection to mall great. My fave shopping experience aside from Soho. Food at Hugos great. Walking distance to museum and foreshore. King room partial harbour view very spacious and great design features.

Inflexibility with wanting to book more nights.
