Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, Glasgow

Loved the attention to detail; friendly, relaxed staff, everything was beautiful, stunning spa, great bar, lovely food. Relaxed luxury. Nice touch was the free complementary snacks & drinks in the bedroom. Would love to come back again!

Beautiful hotel with great location. Very helpful staff who organised a lovely 60th Birthday surprise in our room for my wife. Bar and restaurant area stunning as was the entrance hall.

We don't normally have the money to splash out on such a luxurious hotel but it was our Christmas present to each other after a very traumatic few years. It was worth every penny. Thank you! The breakfast was unreal and a particular friendly young man that works there at breakfast was delightful! Everything was fab!

Beautiful room and facilities. Lovely staff. Delicious lunch. Parents really enjoyed their 50th anniversary treat and staff made efforts to make them feel special.

Only slight negative is that perhaps spa should be open longer as quite busy but they managed to use and found it lovely.

To sum up the Kimpton Blythswood at Christmas experience; the only description that suffices is "divinely elegant and endlessly welcoming". This meticulously well crafted spa hotel is the height of laid back contemporary class and delicious luxury. The absolute bonus is the guests receive free spa hours too and it's an absolute treat. From the point of arrival, we were shown the warmest hospitality and generousity (special mentions to David the awesome Concierge, the lovely Ivo at Front of House, and the charming Anton at the truly superb iasg restaurant!) given that we were there celebrating a very special birthday. We were overjoyed with the entire Kimpton Blythswood experience and would definitely return again. Thanks so much to all the Kimpton staff for making our stay so gloriously unforgettable. 10 out of 10 without a doubt.

Truthfully, one would be very hard pressed to find any fault with the meticulous spec and service levels at Kimpton Blythswood. It's as close to subtle perfection as a UK boutique hotel stay can get, but with the added bonus of friendly Glaswegian charm that comes with being in that part of the isles.

My go to place when staying in Glasgow - faultless. Staff, location and service are perfect .

My sister and brother in law stayed. They raved about everything! There wasn’t anything they didn’t like. I would book them in there again.

Your call centre was not helpful about the booking, it was through a booking.com, and very unhelpful when I wanted to book the car parking service. They told me to look up the website to book my sister and her husband’s car in. I thought that for a 5 star hotel it would have been handled by the hotel. I was eventually put through to the hotel itself and they fixed everything out. But even then they had problems finding the booking when my sister arrived. Once it was fixed their stay was excellent.

The rooms are lovely. Spacious and very comfortable. The location is also great. Our favourite thing about any visit to this hotel, however, is the spa which is unrivalled. Service is also always to a very high, personal standard

Location was amazing, warm and welcoming staff, comfortable and spacious bedroom with fab bathroom. Quiet halls, easy use of facilities, overall we really loved our stay here. Breakfast was incredible, especially with our waiter Anton who brought such flair to his job and gave the best service we’ve had for a long time. He was friendly and attentive, giving very personalised service at a busy time for him. He was very charismatic and funny and made our morning! The spa was wonderful and the staff were attentive and friendly. Spa facilities were incredible to be included in the price for a night.

we paid for the salon at new year eve it was very poor entertainment was poor no atmosphere the supper was an insult to us it was merely a snack. So un organised and staff didn’t really want to be there or there waste of money,

the entertainment for new year also had to order just eat to have food are they were to busy for room service

I always stay in the Blythswood over Christmas as the property is exceptional and the staff could not be more helpful. As a solo traveller their professionalism and attentiveness makes a huge difference. Can’t wait to go back in February.

Excellent delicious breakfast and the staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Free snacks and drink in the room was a lovely bonus.

Our sink and shower in room 2 were very slow draining. You couldn’t really have a long shower or it would have overflowed the shower tray. There was also a cracked laminate floorboard which I tripped on a couple of times. Also our room had a view of just a large generator or air con unit for the hotel. A little disappointing as I thought we would have views of the city or the lovely square.
