Had a lovely weekend there. Lovely upgrade for my 40th. Good January rates. Amazing facilities and most importantly lovely staff. Thank you for a great birthday weekend.

Very cosy interior. Beautifully decorated. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet.

A little dirty: sink was dirty, bed frame was scratched and shower seemed to have just been used before we arrived (the bathroom was very warm and the ground of the shower was drenched).

Lovely staff ❤️ Got a nice room upgrade for my birthday. Love Power gym. I’ll be back

Our room wasn’t in main hotel it was in the town house 2 doors down and you had to walk through reception out of the building through a court yard and into another building that looked out on to a carpark. Room was very small with only a sliding door to bathroom which did not seal.

The location was great and it had a good vibe

The coffee machine in the bar area was out of order for a week and nobody had the presence of mind to get a kettle so that they could still serve hot drinks. The room felt a little battered.

I was not made aware that I was booking a separate building that is not actually connected internally to the main hotel. The room was tiny also

We stayed in the StJames suite, which was very cool! Loads of space for. our family of four. The room was very clean and all of the staff were so helpful. An amazing restaurant and bar too

Our only downside was the noise level of the surrounding nightclubs hence why earplugs were provided!

Stayed in the townhouse. Room was lovely - spacious, clean, warm, quiet and with complimentary nespresso coffee, tea and water. Really good gym facilities, showers, etc. for a city hotel and the outdoor heated pool was a really pleasant surprise, as was the sauna. Staff were lovely. Decor was lovely throughout and Sophie's rooftop bar by night a delight.

Sauna should be ready to use (hot) at all times the gym/pool are open. Should provide robes for guests to go from the room to pool/gym.

We stayed in both the penthouse and then the hi-fi room. Both could have been cleaner and better maintained (there were quite a few things that were broken - window fixings, toilet seat, taps….). Not a big deal but when paying that kind of price, everything should be exceptional. Also, the foosball table that was advertised in the penthouse listing was missing from the flat.

stayed here for one night in room 407 and I would highly reccomend it, the room was so spacious & very clean. There were also so many nice amenities like a vinyl player & a speaker. The fridge in the room was fully stocked with different bits which was nice and there was extra room to put our own drinks in it! And the bath/shower was so good ! We parked at the Stephen’s green Q car park which is about 8mins walk away from The Dean and reception then validated our ticket so we got a discounted rate which was €29. Reception also took a €50 damage deposit fee at check-in but this was refunded back soon after check-out.

I did think it was slightly noisy in the morning with other guests etc walking around & we could hear music at night time but we were on the 4th floor which seemed to be a quieter area so it wasn’t loud enough to be an issue! The hotel staff did also advise us of possible noise disturbance due to the location which is fair!

Nice clean hotel central to most shops room was comfortable and clean balcony was a plus for smokers

Our room was very small for 3 people. Cleaning the room was on demand after the second day, and no sheets were changed during our 4 day stay at the hotel.

Breakfast wasn’t great cold but service fabulous. WiFi not great in hotel. Overall very good value for money. Keep the window closed, otherwise nightclub music will wake you up. Beds very comfortable. Reception check very professional and had our room ready early. Thank you. Rooftop bar is a gem and lunch was delicious

The location is excellent, check-in was seamless, staff are super friendly and accommodating. The drinks and the reception area is fabulous, the room in general is fantastic, very spacious, very clean and excellent offerings within the room. I can’t fault anything except for the bed & noise levels. Overall, definitely an 8/10.

Our only two issues were the noise levels from the neighbouring nightclubs, & the discomfort of the bed. The noise levels from the nightclubs was advised to us upon check in & earbuds were placed either side of the bed, however, I feel this should be something that is flagged prior to booking or upon booking, depending on the location of your room. We stayed in 112 the Hi-Fi King Room, which I presume was a room closest to the nightclubs which didn’t help, additionally it was advised we’d have a city view room, this was not the case. There were fixtures from buildings completely blocking the view. Lastly, the bed, “Hi-Fi King Room” would imply a king sized bed, we discovered it appeared to be two beds put together, this was very uncomfortable as you could feel the split in the bed. There also seemed to be a zipper under the duvet cover which was also uncomfortable, the pillows were not great either and as a result I’m suffering with a stiff neck since. I understand the noise level is completely outside of the hotels control and they did advise us upon check in. However, the comfort of the bed and pillows should definitely be upgraded and if a view is advertised then it should be visible, or similarly to the noise warning, this should be advised upon check-in.

It was very tidy and clean. It has an interesting theme.

The bar is fantastic.

Not their fault, the hotel is next door to Copper Face Jacks so the room was noisy at night.

Good location, very convenient for a short stay in Dublin. Nice decorations and vibe, especially in the cozy lobby downstairs.

The room could’ve been a bit cleaner and there should’ve been a warning about the noises coming from the nightclub next door. Staying from Friday to Saturday, I could barely sleep - but at least the earplugs were free…

We were in a room for a disabled person and there was no place to hang clothes

Very easy check in check out process lovely friendly staff for both. Bar quite small and with Christmas party standing in front of it getting to the bar was difficult so we went across the road to ivy gardens bigger bar and even though there was quite a big Christmas party still loads of room. Very pricey dinner and breakfast so ate elsewhere. Loved the location

Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, staff are so intentive and friendly, beautifully decorated rooms and so comfy. Less then a 5 min walk to Stephens green, lots of available amenities in the hotel itself

There's construction going on beside the townhouse where we stayed, im a heavy sleeper but we were woken up by drills and banging at 7 in the morning.. that was the only downside to the gorgeous hotel

Bar service was atrocious the girl there was giving out about the management not training her and took about 40 mins to serve a rotten drink

The room and bathroom were not thoroughly cleaned, there was quite a bit of dust in both rooms. The plug in the sink did not work and the room was far too hot, uncomfortably so. I did try to turn the temperature down but it did not work.

The property was very stylish and modern. The rooms were comfortable

I felt that the room was overpriced and was expecting something more special based on the amount I paid for the room

The noise from Copperface Jack's next door. Coppers goes on till 5am. There were complementary ear plugs left beside the bed when we came back to the room. They actually did help a lot but I feel this should be something that's flagged before booking. It's obviously something that's complained about regularly if they feel the need to leave ear plugs by your bed as standard.

The record player is a nice touch. The gym, sauna and hot tub were very nice.. staff were very nice and the restaurant upstairs provided a very nice breakfast. It is supposed to be an excellent restaurant for dinner too but we'll have to wait until our next visit.

The beds were 2 singles put together and kept drifting apart. The pillows were not comfy.

The Dean is always a fun place to stay, this was our second stay here. It's always fun and funky and the staff are always helpful

The bathroom door set up was a little frustrating and it would have been good to know you had to request housekeeping / fresh towels
