Great location for what we were there for

Only 2 elevators were working, hallways and lobby were saunas, bathroom extremely small, bed needing replaced

The location of the hotel and the view from the rooms were spectacular. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go!

I booked this hotel room 4-5 months in advance and paid a little extra because I thought “Double Room with Double Beds” meant a two bedroom suite with two full beds. When I walked into my room and saw I a little room with two full beds for 4 people, I knew it was going to be a crowded stay. I tried asking the front desk people if there was anything that could be done to make our stay more comfortable and all I got is “Yeah, we really need to word that better on our website.” Thankfully my fiancé and the two friends we brought were all close, so being on top of each other was not terrible. But definitely would’ve picked a bigger room or different hotel if I had known what our room actually entailed. Also breakfast is $24/person and wifi is $15/day.. wow.

After using booking.com to book rooms, when we had to cancel a room-- we are still waiting to hear whether the property would waive the cancellation fee. Also we were not aware that when you book through booking.com that the actual property cannot confirm details of room type and guest names assigned. For this reason, we will not use booking.com in the future. Trying to get in touch with a live agent at booking.com is nearly impossible.

Booking.com misrepresented this totally! I purchased a Double Room, Double Bed and got a standard room with double bed. The hotel will do nothing for you since this was third party booking. Total scam beware!!!! Embarrassing, since I was with a coworker and took charge of the booking.

Needs better drop off when a friend is dropping you off. We were told we had to park in the street. The coffee maker is a hazard. It keeps heating water even after all the water is used, it leaks too. The ac/heater was bad. Either it was too hot when the heater was on, or too cold when the ac was on or right before the heater turned on.

Location to be able to connect with downtown and move easier to get to shops and restaurants.

Came in after checkin time and they did not have a room available for us to check into. We had to wait 45 minutes to get a room. If they are not going to have rooms available by 3 pm then don’t make check in time at 3pm. Also all the food places closed early. We came back from and event and the cafe was completely closed and we could only get food from the little store in the hotel lobby.

Besides getting charged double for my room and trying to contact them for weeks about this with no return calls or emails it was a decent hotel. A little dated but nice

Staff was awesome. Got an upgraded room with a view that we loved!

We got dropped off from our Uber at the backside of the property and it was a maze to get back and it didn’t feel secure. There were homeless in the bathrooms

The view was amazing and the breakfast was delicious also. The manager was helpful as well.

Couldn’t check in until 4, didn’t even want to check and see if our room has been cleaned at that time. The shower wasn’t all that clean, for the price of $300/night I would have expected spotless, towels that had a weird bad scent. The a/c really wasn’t that strong

Super comfortable beds and pillows. Clean room, excellent waterfront views from the 16th floor. Helpful associates.

The flatbread was the best! It was a good quality product. I had wings and fries, a ceasera salad that was fresh. The bathroom was filthy & disgusting. It was blood on my comforter. House keeping needs a new manager!

The bathroom was filthy and atrocious. Their was a plane cookie wrapper under the toilet seat. That means it was not cleaned. The shower head was pointed up, which meant water seeped on the floor. EVERYWHERE! I had to clean my own bathroom with bleach wipes and my towels. No one was available to help me.

Perfect location for Detroit river view walk and marina. Canada bridge is close, view form the room is amazing. Everything is close and people mover in the hotel

We were not told at check in that rooms do not get serviced everyday. Also we we got back from dinner and our bottom sheet was inside out and had sticky stuff on one side but when we rung there was a changeover of staff so said don’t worry and laid a towel on it.

Arrived at 230pm and was able to check-in. Very courteous at the front desk and super quick. Less than 5 minutes and I had my room keys in my hand!

Unfortunately, we had no shampoo in the room. The dispenser was empty.

Staff were very friendly and offered us a $40 off breakfast coupon for their restaurant, along with waters while we waited for check-in. Hotel is very sleek, comfortable, and central to everything downtown. Also had a wonderful view!

Navigating the property was fairly confusing- from parking, to actually locating the check in area. Also, at night most doors are closed- which was sort of a pain if we just needed to run outside to pick up food, or go to the car. Also, there is no vending machines on site, so make sure you bring drinks or buy some to store in your room ahead of time. Overall, I would stay here again!

The valet parking was full. The separate parking lot was very inconvenient. The architectural set up of this building is the atrocious! It took over 45 minutes just to get to our room, and then our key didn’t work so we had to return to the front desk after 45 minutes of hassle. It took just about the same amount of time to get out of the hotel back to the parking garage. Many guests were also struggling with how to get to where they parked. Signage is unclear and lacking. We will NOT be returning to this Marriott location again due to all this frustration. Also, we did not like that our toilet did not work.

The restaurants and bars on-site did not stay open long enough for all the patrons coming back from their events downtown looking for a bite to eat before bed. Everything closed at midnight, even though on the website it says they keep the kitchens open until 1am on the weekends.

Close to the venue we were attending a concert at.

I reserved a room with two queen beds and it said check in was at 3 we got to the hotel I was told check in was at 4 and they had no double rooms only rooms with king beds. Their were 3 of us I was told a comped rollaway bed would be in the room , I had to call to request the bed be brought up. The person who slept on the rollaway bed said it was very uncomfortable and I’m pretty sure my original room was more then the king bed room to which their was no price adjustment so technically the rollaway was not comped. The hallways were EXTREMELY HOT Very frustrating!

The room seemed very outdated and dingy. For the price, was definitely expecting a bit more of a wow factor. Instead, we walked in to see your average room... something we could have gotten for much less somewhere else.

Great location walking distance to Ford Field concert, Beautiful Building, Nice rooms clean great view! Friendly staff.

Staff was nice and courteous they took care of us after the conflict with the wait staff at the restaurant accommodated us for the meal and Compass breakfast for the inconvenience of the room being cold

The room was small and the bed was uncomfortable. For that price, I would expect better blankets or extra blankets. Coffee was also stingy. Nothing was open in the property on the weekend which was strange to us. I just expected better for the money spent. It could be so much better.
