Located in Denver’s upscale Cherry Creek North neighborhood, Clayton Hotel & Members Club flips the traditional, stuffy social club model completely on its head. Opened in 2021, the property was intentionally built around a mission of hyper-inclusivity, actively curating a diverse community of local artists, activists, and entrepreneurs. The coolest perk? When you book one of the 63 boutique hotel rooms, you automatically get full “member for a day” access to all the private club spaces.

The stunning interiors were brought to life by the globally renowned design firm AvroKO, alongside 4240 Architecture. The team rooted the design in three distinct local pillars: Denver Modernism, Colorado Strata, and the 19th-century Gold Rush. You’ll see this reflected in the clean mid-century furniture, rich sediment-layered stone textures, and a massive, custom-crafted lobby chandelier featuring glass icicles and brushed brass that mimic raw Colorado minerals.

The hotel’s amenities make it incredibly easy to blend work and play. You can take meetings in the tech-free Bar Parlor, grab a cocktail at Five Nines, a hidden, sultry speakeasy tucked behind a secret street entrance with zero signage, or unwind at the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, Of A Kind. The crown jewel, however, is the rooftop sun deck and pool, offering panoramic views of the Denver skyline and the Rocky Mountains.

While there is plenty to do inside, the surrounding area is packed with attractions. You are just steps from the high-end boutiques and galleries of Cherry Creek, and a quick fifteen-minute drive takes you straight into downtown Denver. This gives you easy access to major cultural landmarks like the striking, titanium-clad Denver Art Museum and the fascinating Clyfford Still Museum.
