Great location, amazing views and nice staff.

Protest by staff one day blocking entrance. Quite a sexualised hotel with vibrators in the mini bar - an idea that sounds ‘hip’ at the corporate meeting but in reality makes the customer think the room has been used as a boudoir or similar. Also rooftop bar is cool but used a lot by public. No issue there but prices of the drinks are extortionate. Guests should get a discount.

Friendly and accommodating staff, well appoined facility, unique and efficiently designed rooms, beautiful rooftop bar and a central great location.

Very modern, clean, comfortable. Great size room for a four day stay. Within walking distance of the train and many popular Chicago attractions like Millennium Park and the riverwalk. There is a coffee shop within the hotel on the ground floor.

Like some other reviewers mentioned, we did get woken up by protesters and they didn’t stop for a good half an hour. This was at 8am on a Sunday but no other day while we were there. We were offered a lower floor upon arrival and we would’ve declined if we’d known.

We loved the hotel and would definitely stay here again. The fact that it was pet friendly but also aesthetically pleasing was great. The staff was always very friendly. The coffee shop and roof top bar were a great bonus. It was also very quiet and close walking distance to many places. It was a great stay at a good price.

It would have been nice if there was a dedicated pet area. The walking map was a bit misleading as the stairwell by the river was closed off and it was kind of a far walk. The fridge also didn't have room to put any left over food from restaurants or items that we brought.

Our view and room were great. Good soundproofing as well. Roomy.. staff was courteous.

Bed was too soft. Pillows were sooooo lofty we couldn't use them. No pillow for 3 nights. Please consider a variety to choose from, or at.least one that is able to be fluffed or flattened.

Location was perfect!! Just 5 minutes away from the bean and the riverwalk. I was on the 20th floor and the city view was beautiful. The room was also clean and comfortable.

I love everything about this property: the location, the staff, and the service.

There is no USB charger in the room. They should inform customers before arrival instead of trying to sell the charger for $20.

The stuff was very friendly and helpful. I was there for my girlfriend birthday and they gave us free breakfast and drinks at the bar.

I didn't like that security guard wasn't aware at all times.

The metro is right next to the hotel and the screeching sound makes it a little difficult to sleep.

Great location, funky, fun, eclectic building. Gorgeous, updated rooms. The shower with the rainfall shower head was fun and felt luxurious Loved the lighting throughout-motion sensors were nice.

-Did not have parking but after contacting property, they do have a garage with a discount. -Having the room directly across from the elevator was less than ideal as there were a couple of loud people that came in late. However, the privacy doors that divide the bedroom closed were helpful to drown out some noise. -Although the listing for the room stated that the room came with a $25 voucher for each adult (which there were two of us) for breakfast when I asked the front desk for these the customer service representative stated that this was not the case, but she would permit me to have one but not one for one both of us.

I liked that my room had a good view of the L train--it was fun to sit at the window and watch the trains go around the Loop. The bed was super comfortable and the whole room was very thoughtfully laid out.

Bed was so comfy, room size was perfect but that bathroom was awesome! Loved Miss Rickys and we enjoyed the happy hour in the bar. Noise level was pretty nonexistent other than the train in the morning. But did not hear neighbors above or next door. Will be back for sure!

The location is great, in the heart of Chicago, very close to all the main attractions. The hotel is awesome, very modern, and with all that you need from cafès and restaurants to room site in place. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful stay at Virgin Hotels Chicago! We were celebrating my husbands birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it extra special. Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, would definitely stay here again.

We were on one of the upper floors and the music from the rooftop bar could be heard at times. Not a huge deal, but just something to keep in mind.

The bed was comfy and the room was a nice size. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff are very service oriented which made our stay enjoyable.

The train track was near our room and it got very noisy.

Perfect location and if you drive, there is a parking garage next door at 60 E. Lake St. Couldn’t be more convenient! Very well-appointed accommodations. Appreciated the cotton balls, bathrobe, and yoga mat. The sliding door closes without a sound to separate sleeping area from bathing/dressing area, and the view of the Jewelers building is stunning.

You may need a white noise machine to block the sound of the L train breaking and making its way around a corner. But one in our party did not notice it.

The location was perfect, just a short stroll from numerous attractions. The staff was exceptional, providing outstanding service throughout my stay. As a Christmas lover , I thoroughly enjoyed the Mariah Carey pop-up—it was an absolute delight! Overall, an amazing experience. Food was amazing as well.

The room was not worth the money. The bed was very uncomfortable the shower the water ran out and ran into the toilet room. The floors were soaked every time you took a shower.

The hotel is in the middle of everything and is a short 10min to the Starbucks Roastery! The rooftop was nice, the staff was friendly and the room and room view was amazing.

I loved how clean my room was upon arrival and how clean it even smelled. I also really appreciated the kettle in the room. The layout of the room is so cute and great for a solo stay. Oh and the bathrobe was a very nice addition!

At certain points in the middle of the night it would get pretty hot so I don't think I slept my best. The train was also by my window so a bit loud at times. Rooms could use an exhaust fan. The drinks at the bar on the 2nd level were super expensive and I missed out on the complimentary drink. A little voucher ticket for this would be nice to have upon arrival. I didn't get a restock of bath cloths during housekeeping. Overall just minor inconveniences.

Our chargers for our iPhones would not stay in the outlet. It was very loose I used the outlet by the sink and that outlet worked

Close to all the Best atracción and shops.

Good central location, close to everything and easy access to transportation, attractions, food, shopping. Well designed, cosy and comfortable rooms. Helpful friendly staff from front desk, housekeeping, concierge and valet. Well stocked toiletries and towels. No issue with downtown/train noise. Strong water pressure for shower. Comfortable bed and many pillows (both on the soft side though).

Cramped sleeping space. Not much room to maneuver or open suitcases. Lack of flat surface area to place items in the sleeping area. Inconsistent air conditioning temperature. Took a long time to adjust water temperature. City view was only the back of some buildings. TV channels could be improved. Could not find preloaded streaming apps on the TV.

Friendly staff, small but ok gym, conveniently located (close to metro, shops, magnificent mile).

Booked room with breakfast included. However breakfast is not completely included as you get a 25 dollar voucher. Breakfast in general is more expensive than 25 dollars at this location.

Bed wasn’t really comfortable

Location was perfect! Hotel was very clean! Darrell checked us in and he was amazing! He gave us an upgrade from a standard room to a corner suite on the 17th floor! We had a great view! He was very helpful all during our stay. The bathrobe in the room were so snuggly, I wish I had one!

Our only disappointment was no coffee maker in our room and no complementary bottles of water upon arrival.
