It was a great location for our purposes.

Outstanding location, service, food and wine. Beautiful room and grounds.

Only one thing let us down. We had to leave early for a flight and did not have time to have our included breakfast. We were not told about the possibility of ‘breakfast to go’ until we were getting in our taxi to leave and then it was too late. Otherwise superb

Everything is exceptional. Just beyond all expectations. From the staff, the tea cups, bath salts and the amazing beds. Everything is thought of and is devine

Absolutely fantastic stay. The staff were exceptional and pulled out the red carpet treatment. We did not have to lift a finger. The rooms are beautiful, the property is stunning, food is amazing and the spa experience was phenomenal.

Awesome experience once again. Staff are very well trained, polite, happy and professional. Facilities and environment absolutely fabulous.

This is the best overall experience I have had in a hotel in several years, and I have just got back from a 3 week trip to Europe, and the experience at Steenberg is like no other. The great experience started with the check-in process, where I was ushered to sit down and relax, offered a glass of bubbly, while the required documentation was filled in. Room was great, including clean coffee machine and thoughtfully, proper milk in the fridge. Restaurant assisted me with a glass of fabulous Chardonnay, even though they were already closed. Awesome breakfast experience.

I would prefer the music in the restaurant not to be so loud.

The warm water in the pool (33 Celsius). It felt like the pool area and the garden is reserved just for us.

I think the attention to detail, the gardens, the map of the sculptures, the interior, the art, the manner in the way the staff has been made aware of small details which every now and again let you think, wow, who thought about that.

I really cannot think of something I want to change. Maybe get some Belgian Beers on the drinks menu! LOL!

The surroundings were absolutely stunning! The rooms were clean and comfortable, we got a complimentary bottle of wine from the wine yard. Great breakfast. Definitely coming back!

Beautiful and comfortable property with nice restaurants

Small pool which was taken up by day spa people. There should be separate pool for hotel guests. Golf course almost impossible to get a on and when we did it was so slow play it was painful and ruined it for us

completely beautiful grounds, vast, beautiful scenery, food was delicious and there were two excellent options by way of restaurants. the vineyard on site was an added bonus and the spa was fantastic - highly recommend!

no gym on site but very kindly the staff drove me to the neighbouring virgin active gym and gave me a day pass so was no issue. the hotel was also not in central Cape Town, which was completely fine for me as I wanted a more relaxed quiet trip, otherwise all was really perfect

The staff members were very welcoming and gave us all the information that we needed. We loved the privacy of our outside courtyard with a lawn and the spacious suite.

Beautiful hotel with perfectly manicured garden, restaurant is situated right next to the hotel. The hotel secured us a table for dinner and was amazing. Breakfast was served right outside of our patio Rooms are spacious, bed is ultra comfortable,stunning interior and large bathroom

Beautiful property, two excellent restaurants, wine tasting, golf and accessibility of driving range, luxurious rooms. World class service with a relaxed atmosphere.

The entire experience exceeded our expectations. Let me begin by saying the staff is exceptional: very friendly and professional. Rooms are nice and comfortable. We had a little terrace where we could eat our breakfast. Pool area is lovely and was never crowded (December). Pool is heated. Plenty of Champaigne going around ! It’s nested in a beautiful vineyards and a park so ideal to just go around and chill with our 2 yo old boy. Both restaurants on the premises are yummy. I had a massage at the hotel spa and that was very good too.

The property was in excellent condition. Staff were amazing. Kind and helpful and friendly. The restaurant was lovely as well. Excellent food.

The accommodation exceeded my expectations. The premier rooms were very spacious, luxurious and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and professional. We also had a great dinner at Tryn restaurant with a great variety to choose from. Thank you for a memorable time.
