View: The view is hands down the best part of the stay. You can see the Great Pyramid of Giza from many areas of the hotel, including some of the rooms and the breakfast terrace. Watching the sun rise or set over the pyramids from your balcony or the garden is an experience that stays with you. It adds a level of magic and historical awe that no other hotel can match. Breakfast: Breakfast was excellent, fresh, diverse, and well-prepared. They offered a wide variety of choices including traditional Egyptian dishes, continental options, and fresh fruits, pastries, eggs made to order, and juices. The staff was attentive, and the setting overlooking the pyramids made every morning feel special. You could truly relax and take your time. Room: The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were high quality, and the bathroom was modern and stocked with everything we needed. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and there were thoughtful touches like bottled water, tea and coffee, and soft robes. If you book a pyramid-view room, it's absolutely worth it. What I liked: - The unbeatable pyramid view - The peaceful garden setting - Delicious breakfast with plenty of options - Comfortable, well-appointed rooms - Friendly, responsive staff - High level of security without being intrusive Bottom line: If you're visiting Cairo, Marriott Mena House gives you a calm, luxurious base with a front-row seat to history.

Price of food and drinks: Onsite dining and beverages are noticeably more expensive than similar options outside the hotel. While the quality is good, expect to pay premium rates.

Location, location, location! And the history surrounding the hotel makes staying here a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Our flight left late on the day of checkout, and the staff kindly extended our stay at no extra charge. Everyone we met was helpful and professional — excellent service all around.

Amazing Restaurant with the view on pyramids. Pleasant swimming pool. Good prices in swimming pool restaurant. Live piano music in the hall. Tasty dinner offer. Amazing breakfast offer - every possible food you can imagine. Staff - amazing. So polite and smiley and care taking.

The furniture in the room is rather old and basic but rooms are clean.

-They have 3 different restaurants inside the hotel - One of the restaurants is open 24/7 -Friendly and helpful staff -Can see the pyramids from hotel -Rooms are clean and tidy -comfortable beds

-This hotel is the best in Giza by far because the other hotels are like 1 star however this hotel wouldn’t be rated 5 star if it was located elsewhere. It would be rated 4 stars maximum. -Umbrellas near pool are worn and have lost their red/orange colour. -Layout of the building is like a maze on the reception floor and confusing. - I have stayed in places like Sofitel which was 5 star in other counties and the looks felt like brand new when it was many years old. Some sort of touch up needs to be done to this place to make it look for 5 star if they want to call it 5 star. If not then it’s definitely a good 4 start hotel. -Price needs to also be taken down a little because it is way too expensive for the area.

WONDERFUL VIEW!!! Closer than we expected to the Pyramids. The Indian restaurant was superb. The pool area, very nice and great service all around. VIP lounge was a lovely touch too!

The pyramide view was stunning. Breakfast with a great choice of international dishes.

It was absolutely wonderful. Obviously the location is superb, but it was somehow much better than what the photos showed. We had planned to save money and avoid the breakfast buffet, however after seeing the view from breakfast on the first day we ended up eating there every morning. The grounds are immaculate, and the staff are all very helpful. Obviously it is an expensive place to stay however I would re-book and stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Tv is getting dated for the room, It could use an upgrade and the wifi is quite slow.

The property is amazingly beautiful. The grounds are kept immaculate. Everything is warm and inviting. The staff is warm, courteous, and genuinely welcoming to the guests. Oh- and did I mention the view of the Pyramids??!! Just WOW!!!

I have no comment here for we not did lack, need or want anything different than we had. It was perfect!

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Marriott Mena House during our trip to Giza/Cairo, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We were blown away to find a welcome cake waiting for us in our room, a thoughtful touch that made our honeymoon-style trip feel even more special. Our room was clean, super comfortable, and came with a balcony view overlooking the swimming pool — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The unreal view of the Pyramids right from the hotel's garden. Nothing compares to sipping tea while gazing at a wonder of the ancient world just a stone’s throw away. The grounds and gardens were beautifully maintained, adding to the peaceful, luxurious vibe of the entire property. The breakfast at Marriott Mena House was fantastic — a self-serve buffet with a wide variety of dishes. From fresh pastries to hot items, there was something for everyone. The spread was not only delicious but also beautifully laid out, with everything organised in an elegant and inviting way, making it a great start to the day. This isn’t just a hotel stay — it’s a full-on experience. I’d 100% recommend the Marriott Mena House to anyone visiting Cairo. Whether it’s for the incredible view, five-star service, or just a relaxing escape with a hint of ancient majesty, this place delivers. i do understand it is a little on the pricier end, but honestly definitely worth it.

The location is magic, I recommend to take room with pyramid view to have 24h access to best views. Also hotel is perfect venue to relax out of Cairo buzz. Love the breakfast buffet!

Perfect location, beautiful resort, nice quality of food

The hotels location was suburb. It was however very dated and could use someupgrades, and the price was quite outrageous, but we knew it was high season.

Loved the view from the restaurant. Shame you can't enter the Giza plateau from by the hotel anymore. Staff at front desk and restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

s above. As of just over a week ago, you can no longer enter the Giza Plateau to walk around the pyramids. Also a shame the old part of the hotel is closed and looks abandoned

Amazing room - we were upgraded as the lock on our room had failed so the hotel kindly moved us across to an upgraded room. Breakfast fab, location is obviously amazing right next to the pyramids. Gardens and pool are were clean and well maintained. Decor internally lovely. Beds huge and very comfortable

Staff was great , location was beautiful and we look forward to coming back here again.
