St Regis Hotel, Cairo

Super clean and luxurious hotel in prime location

Supposed to check in at 3 but I was delayed till 3:30 which was annoying as I had other appointments to catch and all my plans had to be rescheduled

The staff go above and beyond to make the experience feel personal, always greeting you by name and remembering your likes and dislikes. They have thought about every tiny detail, even services you didn't think you needed were provided. The breakfast was exceptional - you could stay for a week and have a completely different cuisine each morning as the selection was as varied as I've ever seen at a hotel or restaurant. The Egyptian restaurant on site was also the best food we had whilst in Cairo by far, so would definitely recommend giving it a try. The servers and manager there were also fantastic. The butler and concierge services exceeded expectations, anything we needed was sorted for us immediately - one evening we needed medication from the pharmacy and it was delivered to us at our table in the restaurant within about half an hour.

Beautiful public spaces, lavish ample suites. Outstanding service from all staff! Of note, Abdul Achman Nouby, who attended my partner’s bleeding gash after he inadvertently hit his head on an open car door, Nouby leapt into action and retrieved a first aid kit in under a minute - above and beyond; Ahmed and Mahmoud by the pool, jovial and genuine, they kept the thread going from day to day; and Abu Thomas by the pool who orchestrated the lovely outdoor space and made a personal connection with each guest. And Abanoub with the warm send off.

The food at J&G Steakhouse was not even close to par. “French” Onion soup that was thickened with cornstarch? A ribeye so thin you could mistake it for something at Outback. A cold popover, why bother? Salads were fine, but something was off… we had to take antibiotics the next morning because…

The St. Regis Cairo exceeded expectations with its elegant interiors, exceptional service, and prime location along the Nile. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless and luxurious especially with Shady’s welcoming hospitality. A special highlight was dining at La Zisa restaurant—Chef Ahmad, Rasha, Salah, Rudaina, Ahmad Atia, and the entire team made each visit feel personal with their warm hospitality and impeccable service.

My stay at The St. Regis was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel exceeded all my expectations in every way. One of the standout features for me was the impeccable cleanliness—every corner of the property felt spotless and well-maintained, creating an atmosphere of pure comfort and luxury. The on-site restaurant was another highlight. The quality of the food, the presentation and the variety offered were all outstanding. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful service making each dining experience special. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and feels brand new with a modern yet elegant aesthetic throughout. What truly sets The St. Regis apart, though, is the staff. Every team member I encountered was incredibly professional, warm and genuinely eager to help. Their attention to detail and personalised service went far beyond my expectations. I left feeling thoroughly impressed and very happy with my stay. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend The St. Regis to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable and seamless hotel experience.

Amazing hotel, with Extremely friendly staff. We were upgraded to a nice 3 bedroom apartment, and given complimentary late check out till 730pm.

The staff were exceptional Ms. Mariam at guest relations and Mr. Emad were so caring that they were checking on us everyday to make sure that our stay was good

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff goes above and beyond to assist guests. As soon as we checked in, the reception manager, Kareem, welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour of the property. They also prepared thoughtful touches for our anniversary celebration—upgrading our room and offering us a delicious breakfast buffet. Our room was luxurious, with a stunning view of the Nile. The bouquet of roses, fresh fruits, and sweets in the room were the icing on the cake. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel in Cairo!

I have stayed at other St. Regis hotels and so, I had high expectations. The Cairo hotel is superb. The quality of the bedding, the linens are the finest I have experienced as a seasoned traveller and someone well-versed in the business of linens. This is truly special as Egyptian cotton is the finest in the world, and it is nice the hotel put a focus on it. The breakfast is fantastic in the range and quality of offerings, the impeccable service provided by the staff, and, importantly the early and late hours it is open. I had room service which was top of the line in its selections and service. The facility, and rooms are gorgeous. No detail overlooked. The staff is polished, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to serve. Outstanding hotel in every respect.

The room was spectacular - great view of the Nile. The breakfast is superb - staff very friendly and always happy to help you out.

We were somewhat disappointed by our dining experience in the J&G steakhouse restaurant in the hotel. The wagu cut we wanted wasn't available so we ordered the more expensive cut - it was very disappointing.

The St. Regis Cairo exceeded every expectation. Our two-night stay was simply amazing. From the impeccable service to the luxurious accommodations, it was a truly exceptional experience. I Highly recommend for a taste of Cairo's finest.

Perhaps the most beautiful hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in, but not only stunning, the old-world atmosphere, the attentiveness of all the staff, the fact that everyone from the front desk to the concierge, to the restaurant staff, addressed me by name after one meeting, was most appreciated. The room was spectacular - thank you very much to Mohammed for extending out exit time to 4 pm and for upgrading us upon arrival. Exceedingly clean and loved, loved the mattress and pillows. Everything was superb. Thank you!

The accommodation is conveniently located near the town center, making it easy to access. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the furniture was excellent—the bed was exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean. Communication with the staff was smooth, and they were incredibly friendly and professional. A special thanks to Mrs. Heba, the reservations manager, who helped us quickly and efficiently with everything we needed. The breakfast was superb—delicious with a wide variety of options. We also had the pleasure of attending a beautiful and joyful Egyptian wedding, which made our stay even more memorable. Everything was spotless and smelled fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the apartment and will definitely return!

Everything is perfect , I recommend everyone i” if you want to experience the best hotel at Cairo , the only choice is St. regis” - best location - experienced staff. - although outside there wee a noise from the cars , however, inside the hotel is quite. - perfect room. - perfect service. This is my first experience to find a hotel is 100% perfect of everything. You will find the price of the hotel is high comparing of the other hotels at Cairo , but I can say it worth it .

St. Regis was breathtaking. We felt like home away from home. The location, facilities, amenities and the staff played a major role. A shout out to Ashraf and Salah (from the breakfast restaurant), Nardeen and Hassan (from housekeeping) who went overboard with us to make us feel like home.

The price could be re-considered but cant complain much.
