It would have been helpful to have another bench and more surfaces to hold our luggage, bags, etc. and additional shelving and hooks in the bathroom.

Location very convenient but the street was not very nice.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Coordination of taxis was excellent and luggage storage was very much appreciated.

It’s clean and convenient to access major interesting points. It provides free luggage storage service for guest, which was a plus amenity for us since we traveled to Iguazu and leaving our luggage’s in the hotel for a few days and then came to stay a couple a days again.

Travelers ought understand that it is an old building ant not everything was convenient for modern style. For example, there are few power outlets. I have to unplugged the lamps, and the outlets are located in somewhere quite awkward to reach.

Really lovely historical building. In a great central location. We really enjoyed walking around the Congress square in the evening.The roof top bar has a wonderful atmosphere and the bar staff are friendly and professional. Staff on reception helpful, friendly and professional. A big thank you to Franco who was so helpful and friendly.

We liked everything. We stayed twice at the hotel . During our first stay we had problems with noise from the street below. This isn't the hotels fault and staff told us it was an exceptionally noisy night. This was a Thursday night and was probably bad luck. The hotel took this on board and for our second stay gave us an interior room on a higher floor. We slept very well.

Perfect location. A lovely hotel to stay in downtown Buenos Aires. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast and rooftop bar are a great convenience.

Breakfast was amazing as well as our overall stay. It is an old building but everything inside is in very good condition. They maintain the interior and it looks really stunning. We spent New Year's Eve here and it definitely contributed a lot to the positive memories of this day

Property was beautiful and so stylish, tango accents all over the hotel. The room we had was comfortable and spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff were super nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with a nice selection of goodies to start off the day. Highly recommend this hotel👍👍

Room was comfortable, AC worked well and overall the facilities were good. The staff were exceptionally friendly - especially Marisol at breakfast.

Could have a few more options for breakfast and I'm not a fan of undercooked scrambled eggs. No coffee and tea pot in the room.

The hotel was beautiful, with lovely Art Deco decorations and there were lots of little touches, like handpainted tissue boxes, etc..The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. It is in a great location, and it was easy to walk to many points of interest.

Nice hotel with an ArtDeco vibe, old with new touches. The breakfast served in a very nice saloon, was good, but not exceptional. Rooms were big and comfortable, but TV service was only Argentinian channels, the WiFi was not bad, but not really good.

There was no parking space for pick-up/drop off available, you have to wait for your car/taxi/uber in the street.

The fitness center could be improved; but not a deal breaker. It has two treadmills and one stationary bike. A few dumbbells. Bring your own workout DVDs to augment the equipment.

Reception staff and, especially breakfast and breakfast staff who were very welcoming, smiley and efficient. Metro station on the doorstep. Very close to parliament building and its square which is filled with locals in the evening. 20 minute walk, or 4 mins Metro or bus to Plaza Mayor. Decent restaurants and cafés in the same street. Currency exchange bureau 5-10 minutes' walk.

Nothing. The area has some rough sleepers, but they don't bother you and it felt safe to walk locally at night.

Location is right in the heart of the historic road - Avenida de Mayo. The hotel is full of character and colour and the roof-top bar is fabulous!

The location was great, full breakfast and roof top bar perfect for happy hour and snacks.

Room was a little small but very clean and had everything we needed.

Amazing value for money. Extremely comfortable beds! Lots of space, great breakfast, roof top bar is fab and the Staff are lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Not much to say. We only stayed 1 night but have already booked again as we are moving about in Argentina for a month.

Good - not outstanding - breakfast. Excellent shower, but needed to regulate water pressure so that the water didn’t overflow onto the floor.

The brackfast was very basic, and it was not as tasty as other equivalent Argentine hotels.

Really close to the main attractions of Buenos Aires. We did a lot of things by foot. The rooftop bar has an amazing view from the city and the rooms were also really good. Also good breakfast :)

Old fashioned building, perfect position and kind staff

Absolutely loved this hotel. The decor was outstanding, tango-themed, very easy on the eyes! Our room was gorgeous,so spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff, from the front desk to the breakfast room were so friendly and extremely helpful. The location was convenient, walking distance to many places of interest and not too far by public transport, such as uber, to others. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop bar, with views of some of the most buildings in Buenos Aires, such as the Palacio Barolo. Highly recommend this hotel 👍👍

Room and hotel were absolutely charming! I loved the decor - it was so artistic and the colour schemes and decor were great. The breakfast was wonderful - there were a number of choices at the buffet, and lots of space to sit. It was very comfortable. Check-in was smooth as was check-out. Sad that I could only stay here a day (I tried to reserve for other days but - unsurprisingly - it was booked). I would stay again!

The bed could have been bigger - a queen would have been welcome. What I came to realise as I travelled in South America is that beds are small...so, nothing out of the ordinary, here.

The building is beautiful and centrally located for daytime activities.

Night time the area becomes a little unsafe and walking after dark is not advised. The breakfast needs to be looked at and updated very basic and tasteless

Friendly staff

Very good location, to explore the city. The starting point for GreyLine Tourist Bus is just 5 minutes away, which is a big advantage. There are many small restaurants, super markets etc. around the hotel, which is a great advantage. The property itself is very well and lovingly renovated. Reception, lobby, restaurant and rooms are very nice. Being a property situated in the middle of the city of course offers no good view from the room, which is sad but understandable.

I would have been happy if the reception staff was more informed and interested in informing about how to explore the city better. In the past I have experienced many city hotels where the reception staff had may tips and also options to offer, which could be booked at the reception itself. Adding that facility would be great value addition. I also feel, the breakfast a bit mediocre and lac creativity, especially with the vegetarian options. They could add a lot of value for theirs guests here.

Large room and bathroom, big comfortable bed and lots of pillows. Easy walk to the Port, Casa Rosada, Tango shows, or quick Uber to Palermo, Recoleta and San Telmo
