Perfect location for exploring the city. Friendly & very helpful staff. Lovely decor & very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyable buffet breakfast with a good selection eg fruit salad, cereal, medialunas, bread, muffins, juice, cold meat/cheese and eggs/sausages. The Dome rooftop bar is an added bonus. Would definitely recommend & would return.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The upstairs bar was convenient for drinks and something to eat. We felt safe in the location which was close to the Congress building.

Comfortable hotel in a historic building, steps from some of the main attractions of the old town. The area seemed to be fairly safe. Good value for money. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Decent bed and large bathroom. Nice roof-top bar.

Our room was tired and clearly needs some renovation. The street-facing windows are, well, historic and are not sound-proof and you can't open them to get some fresh air. The breakfast was a disappointment

We only stayed briefly on this first visit to the hotel prior to flying down to Ushuaia. Check in and out was quick and easy, the staff were really friendly, the hotel was clean and felt safe. Our room was fine - decent bed, large bathroom and with good air conditioning which was needed as it was 41 degrees centigrade outside! The staff were always happy to help. The location was great being very close to Congress and only a short walk from Plaza de Mayo. We had a second slightly longer stay later in February for which I have written another good review as the service was once again excellent.

The staff were excellent. I left my phone in the taxi and both Franco and Yasmin on reception were great - really supportive and helped with the computer and calling the driver who didn't speak English. He found the phone and they arranged for him to return it to me at the hotel later that evening. They were both really friendly and happy to help. Other staff directed me to a good currency exchange office, the restaurant provided free drinking water for our bottles and check in/out was quick and easy. The hotel location is perfect on one of the main streets and very close to Congress and Plaza de Mayo. The hotel was clean and had a buzzer that you had to ring to get in with security in the foyer. Our room was cool and comfortable and the bathroom a good size. The dome bar at the top of the hotel was a great place to finish the evening. We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The breakfast was satisfactory. I liked the lounge areas as well as the rooftop eating area. The desk service was very accommodating and helpful calling cabs for us, finding a great Tango venue and also with luggage that needed to be stored because of our early arrival and late flight out.

Room charge was a bit high for that area.

Wonderful quirky hotel in excellent location. Loved the Art Nouveau neighbourhood, one block from Congress Plaza. Big room with excellent modern bathroom. Nice breakfast included. Helpful staff.

The reception staff are obviously making a cut on booking things for you, especially taxi/rideshare. I was quoted ridiculous high prices when I asked at the desk to organise a vehicle. Also applied to entertainment, when they tried to persuade me to take bookings for a tango show at much higher prices than the one I chose.

In a great central location and the building itself is very unique. The rooftop deck is perfect in the evening, great views and a good place to relax. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very average, doorbell to get in and out of the hotel. It's hot so I was wearing shorts, felt like the security guards always questioned/look at me as if I wasn't staying at there hotel. (not as friendly and welcoming as they should be to guests) Reception greats, security guards poor

Location was good to access to most major tourist sites

Room needs a bit of updating.
