L’Hotel Palermo, Buenos Aires

Grounds are pretty and location is excellent.

Hotel ignored my pre-booking request for a quiet room. Was assigned one of only a few street facing rooms which was exceedingly noisy. Totally disrupted sleep. For a “superior” room it was very small and basic and smelled musty. Breakfast was pretty basic.

Great location in Palermo near lots of restaurants. Really friendly and helpful staff who helped us to book to see an excellent tango show at short notice.

Noisy cleaners early outside door. Staff on reception. One was lovely and chatty and friendly two didn’t even lift their heads most days until I had said good morning or good night. Room was clean but very basic. Saw better rooms online think was given the basic room as a lone traveller.

We had a pleasant stay in Buenos Aires. Palermo is a lively area with great dining options like Fogon and Don Julio within walking distance. Many thanks to the front desk and especially to Jose for allowing us to check in early and for organizing our transfers from the airport to the hotel and to the port. The breakfast was good, and the location is excellent.

Loved the historic look and feel of this hotel, located in a cool neighborhood reasonably close to the airport. The staff were extremely accommodating and the rooms were very comfortable! The breakfast setting and food were also excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Location is the best thing going for it. Some staff members were very professional and friendly at the front desk. Not all though.

The breakfast was very poor compared to what similar level hotels offer in Buenos Aires. Our room was dated and run down. Bathrooms need an urgent upgrade as the old look has now got very old and deteriorated. It’s not what you see on their site.

We have stayed at BENS L'Hôtel Palermo for multiple visits. The proximity to all that BA has to offer is prime. The room and breakfast are consistently excellent. The entire staff is helpful and responsive. The BENS L'Hôtel Palermo team surprised us with a new AC unit while we were away for a few nights, and supplied us with a small refrigerator to accommodate our needs as we extended our stay. The team's care and maintenance for the property is reflected in the well manicured and beautiful courtyard.

Room is tiny but the cost is about $150 usd per night. WiFi did not work in room 4. The room was not super clean.

After booking the suite, the room was not as per the pictures. With a much smaller terrace and different furnishings. Run down, terrible breakfast.

Everything was great. Friendly and helpful in all aspects during my stay. Nothing was a problem, with personalised attention when I asked. The hotel location also convenient to shops, restaurants parks plus the tourist bus hop on and off. Thank you all the hotel staff for a my stay with a healthy breakfast to start the day. Great coffee.

The hotel is a European style boutique hotel with a lovely green space and pool. Very good bed and shower. The staff is extremely accommodating. They held our luggage for a late flight and allowed us to use the common facilities. Restaurant recommendations were excellent.

The location was very good. The breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. The payment was taken a very long time in advance and this made it expensive as we were unable to pay in Pesos using the blue dollar rate so it was not good value for money

It was very strange that there is a pool which when getting there is not in use. I chose this hotel for the pool and garden and the price is therefore not in relation to the expectations.

IMO overpriced for the quality of product on offer : very old and poorly designed bathroom, poorly insulated bedroom room , too much noise from both the street and other rooms ( ie: neighbouring room’s alarm clock clearly audible from 4.30am at 15 minute intervals! ) , 1970’s style breakfast - ie: precooked scrambled eggs in a tray, nothing fresh to order , terrible coffee , the basics could have been done so well with a bakery literally over the road , cups that don’t match / sit in their saucers so drink spills everywhere. Small details everywhere which could be forgiven but at the room rate charged expectations are higher . Not terrible but wouldn’t re-book or recommend is the truth. Pity as I was looking for somewhere to stay on a regular basis when visiting family studying in Buenos Aires. Nx

Great location, spacious rooms, friendly staff and a nice garden. Breakfast is good but there are also many great cafes nearby which we quite enjoyed - one just opposite. It’s also well located in walking distance to some of the best restaurants.

Perfect location. Really helpful staff. I got delicious toasted gluten-free bread every morning for breakfast (celiac). That was a luxury.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful with arranging a taxi to the airport as well as allowing us use of the pool and breakfast area until we needed to depart. The hotel is off the street and very quiet in spite of the nearby nightclubs. The breakfast offerings were excellent.

The bathroom is worn and the shower grout is moldy.

They didnt open for us in the night and the card to the hotel didnt work so we had to find another place to stay in the middle of the night. We talked to the reception and they couldnt explain why this happended and they couldnt pay us back for the night we didnt selpt there. They promised to get us a night for free, and now when i tried to reach out to them they dont answer. So we paid for a night we couldnt use. So bad!!! Not okey. But the hotel was beuatiful, so we are sad this happened.

The location was excellent, the hotel was "fine", but old and dirty. The linens were good, but the furniture was borderline unacceptable. Most item were worn out and stained. A good decorator could work wonders...it doesn't need much. Just desperate for refreshing the rooms and property. Staff was accommodating and helpful.

Not in anybody’s Control, but the beds were a little firm for my liking. my nights sleep wasn’t great due to discomfort

it’s a true gem. so quiet and comfortable. Clara on the front desk is exceptionally helpful - gave us lots of restaurant tips, adaptors for the room and a card to use on the metro. the garden and pool area are a true oasis. breakfast is super. security is also excellent.

the entrance is very low key but don’t let that put you off - once you enter you go into a different world.

the location was perfect and the property itself was like a little oasis in the middle of all the great restaurants and bars in Palermo. the pool and breakfast area were so relaxing, it was the perfect place to take a break from walking around the city and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. i would highly recommend.

The location is fantastic. The entire staff is exceptional at service to the guests’ needs. The rooms, courtyard, breakfast area and pool are spotless and very well maintained.

Just an FYI you need to check your room rate in peso's. The booking.com price was doubled when I got to the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and charged me the booking.com rate but it was stressful. Paying in cash is the best way to go if you use western union to send you money you will get 50% more than using a credit card.

Despite of our first night experience, the staff was really helpful and friendly and they change us to a new room. So much comfortable room, bigger, cleaner, with a proper heater that worked perfectly. The hotel has a fantastic location as well.

Our first night we arrived late and found the heater of the room wasn't working properly, the room itself was a disappointment- old, very small, smelly and cold.

A real find of a hotel in Palermo - I loved the quiet courtyard with a pool as a place to sit and relax, and the simplicity and homeliness of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

My room was very small, but that's something I'll know for next time and can book a larger room.

The location is amazing, and restaurants are very close at hand.

My room was on the main avenue, and at night and early in the morning the traffic noise would keep me awake. The room also had a problem with the hot water. It took 10 minutes to get it to lukewarm.
