JAM Hotel, Brussels

We liked the relaxed casual atmosphere of the location with many restaurants and bars. It is very easy to get to from Train station Midi 25 min walking distance. The tram station to central is 1 minute from the hotel. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We also liked the and the modern design.

The restaurant had a Mexican theme while we stayed. I would have preferred Belgian or modern cuisine. Sadly on Friday evening the Spa Sauna was closed - I also find 40 Euros a bit expensive as a hotel guest.

Very Clean and the rooms were big. . Swimming pool looked nice but not a facility you would use in October. Shops and coffee areas close to hotel.

Noise. Trams / traffic noise totally acceptable in city centre but noise from upstairs room at 7 a.m.to 8.30. Sounded like a child banging a ball. . Instustrial ceilings prob didn't help absorb .

Hotel staff were really polite and friendly, the hotel has an industrial feel and clever arrangement of rooms. With the bunk bed tucked up above the lounge accessible with a ladder was a hit with our kid. A plunge pool, rooftop bar and a bar at the bottom floor with restaurant. Really enjoyed the stay and fact it is well connected to downtown with a tram, and the trams were not too noisy at night. We could park on premises for 15euro.

There is no fan in bathroom so it fogs up a lot. We loved the bar on top floor, on second night of our stay we were turned back saying there is no room in entire bar even for one drink (though we were hotel guests). One of the reasons we booked JAM was the perk there is lovely rooftop bar in the hotel, so this was bit disappointing.

Location was great and I felt safe as I was travelling alone. The room was very comfortable. The luggage lock-up was handy and easy. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful when I had a query.

The walls are very thin and I could hear people next door till late. The shower wasn’t a consistent temperature - kept changing from hot to warm. The sheets also had a strange smell to them.

The rooms are quite small, but overall is ok.

The room was great but could have done with another mirror as it was 3 girls travelling together and only mirrors available were in the bathroom. We booked a room for 4 which had bunkbeds which was cool. Pool area was super cool.

We weren't told it was necessary to book a table in the roof top bar, we went up one night and was told it was full, we said we would try the next night which was our last. We went up earlier the following night to find that most of the tables had been reserved it was never mentioned to us that this was necessary, either at check in or when we went up the night before. I sent a message to ask the best way to the hotel from the airport using public transport and never got a response. Very little information was given about the hotel on check in.

It’s location was great. Kids enjoyed the novelty bed in the room. Nice to have separate bath and shower in en-suite. Even the small swimming pool provided our children with entertainment

Long Walk from the station with our luggage so we used the buses which stop nearby. It was lovely to learn that there was a pool but it was far too busy to use during our stay.

Very cool hotel with interesting art and architecture in the hallways and rooms. Good location in the city. Dog friendly without a fee. Lovely rooms with tea and nice hygiene products. We loved the rooftop with the pool.

The restaurant next door was extremely busy and that made it hard to have a meal there.

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable! The location is really good, there are plenty of restaurants near by. It’s 20 minutes walking from the Grand Place and 15 minutes by tram. It has a rooftop where you can have a drink at night.

We booked this hotel because we were traveling by car and it said that it had parking, but we were not able to use the parking at all because it was never available. You cannot reserve a spot and had to ask for one every day at 9 am (and still, we did not get a spot) so we had to pay for public parking.

The bed covers stich and not comfy to use. The restaurant is under previous booking and selection of food and only works from 7pm.

We struggled to find somewhere to eat when we arrived around 9.30 - Staff in the restaurant weren't very helpful

Great room for parents plus teenager, with the pool and rooftop bar adding to the appeal! Generous space (when compared to other hotels in our Belgium holiday).

I'm being really picky because we loved it, but a little info sheet showing where the pavement bars and cafes were would be great. We only found this by chance on our last evening.

Pillows were not good - plasticy and uncomfortable

We liked the groovy 80s industrial bare concrete look blended with elements of Japanese style. Spacious shower room. Location although a bit further out of the center, still really convenient with shops and restaurants nearby and the tram stop just outside.

Pillows a bit bulky and hard, but not really much of a problem.

Very nice staff, modern. There are many cute restaurants in the surroundings.

The pool was a big disappointment. It´s very small and shallow. It´s not possible to swim in it.

Didn’t realise how loud everything was in the hotel. Even tho the name is Jam didn’t expect to hear DJ till late! Walls very thin

Comfy beds in a good location with well equipped room. Rooftop bar with a great view, and the swimming pool with area to chill very nice very nice. The building tho have some issues and puts you in really funny situations that nice and helpful staff take you out off. COMPLIMENTARY JUICE IN THE RECEPTION 2 FLAVOURS. Alarm function in your TV among many of the great features.

Building has some problems for instance the elevator is a big roulette, i still don’t understand how it works, so you’d think “hey lets take the stairs” but the fire exit doors don’t seem to work so sometimes you are locked out and have to go to the ground floor to take the elevator to your floor.

Very good located. The parking was a life saver for us. Swimming pool was heated and the rooftop is amazing

Comfortable bed, nice decor and staff were friendly. On previous stays I really liked the rooftop bar and the breakfast.

The front desk staff were often away from the desk for long stretches, including when I arrived and wanted to check in. They didn't leave a note so I stood ringing that stupid little bell for ten minutes. The wifi didn't work for the duration of my stay, so I had to use my data and it ended up costing me quite a bit. The location is fine, but the public transport links are not great for the centre and the EU quarter.

the style of the room; the lovely bakery nearby

Excellent location close to restaurant areas in Chatelain and not far from Louise. Well connected with 2 tramlines and metro not far from the hotel. The hotel is modern and clean. It has a nice Asia restaurant and a nice terrace car on the rooftop

Elevator and corridor is somehow dark, maybe because of energy efficiency measures. I recommend the hotel to put some more powerful lights. Staff at the breakfast is a little bit unfriendly and sharp.

Lifts too long to come

Spacious room and bathroom. 2 minute walk from tram stop that goes to the city center. Happy to give me a breakfast refund after last-minute cancellation.

Sauna closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (the 1-night stay we had) which is not stated on their Booking.com profile. Pool closes at 7pm. Limited breakfast buffet that is not 15€ worth compared to other stays.

Nice funky room style, clean

Breakfast was confused - took over 10 min in a queue for a coffee and the food wasn’t very fresh.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, the room was cozy and impeccably clean, and the amenities were top-notch. Can't wait to come back for another wonderful experience!

The double bed was comfortable, but the other extra beds were not. Nice and clean bathroom. Nice location close to restaurants.

Side beds were not comfortable. There was a slight odd odor in the room. Parking machines were not accepting cards.

It was clean and modern with very good facilities ( double shower appreciated for groups)

The room was really quite small for 6 people with little space to put away all luggage and things from luggage. But this was in no way a deal breaker it was still really nice for the value (average 40 euros / night - that is an amazing value for the type of accommodation with private bathroom and in this location)

Size of the room for 3 or even 2 people was extremely small. The hotel overall seemed quite narrow spaced.

Relaxed atmosphere, luxary conditions. The pool, the party, the room, service and the food top. Especially a cleaner professional lady called Serena was super helpful and professional, with excellent attitude and language skills.

Little bit unclear with booking. Com- breakfast not included, very difficult to make a reservation..but it's more to do with booking.com than the hotel.
