Great Location and nice staff !

Unfortunately the heater in my room didn't work properly (and Boston in February is quite cold!). The staff manage to find a way around with an auxiliary heating.

Location to the Theater was great . Cost was also great for a room . Staff was excellent as well

Other the room I stayed, the common area was so so so great , staff too. Even knowing I stayed there during a blizzard, the room was great, location too, I could also work, it was all great .

Everything was exceptionally neat, the location was near perfect and the staff was super amicable. They provide large lockers in which a carry-on and a big backpack can fit easily. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly throughout the day. Amazing.

I 😍❤️ loved the Atmosphere in general and the Great customer service at the Desk ..They really care about people being comfortable with their stay at Hi Hostel...I loved all the snacks that you can buy and the fun events sponsored daily by Hi Hostel. Boston is a Walking city...You always felt comfortable when you came back from your day spent in Boston..The nice furniture in the lobby allowed for relaxation and warmth...

train delays caused me to stay additional night, and, your price was brutal... moreover, your hostel was 25% full... why Gough a customer ...? I could have stayed in a hotel for the same price, and I'm a member.... with you ...who wasn't discounted...! moreover, the prices in New York, have nothing to do with hostel ....!

Super close to Chinatown, Theater District and a whole bunch of clubs. Subway 2 blocks away. Fabulous location.

Everything was great. I had a private room and it was pretty big and very clean.

Shout out to Victor from the front desk, who was very friendly and responsive. The hostel had a lot of space (I had a 6 bed room to myself), cool common areas to hang out in and more than enough bathrooms. (I was visiting in the winter though so I can't attest to what it's like in the summer). It's also located in the most central part of Boston, a block away from the common and green / orange lines. They also were very flexible with extending my stay and check out time.

Place is super clean and cozy with a good location

This would be a 10 if it were 35$ a night hostels shouldn’t be more than that

The staff members were very helpful, per usual; one young woman named Amada (I think that's how she spells it) was particularly patient with all of my late-night questions. The price for my room was terrific (under $50) and I had it all to myself!

I REALLY wish you still served a complimentary breakfast every morning!

It was efficient. Good check in experience. Nice lobby. I needed a one night stay on two consecutive weekends. Both nights were the same standard, clean and well designed. It's really good value for money in a very good location. Thanks to the staff for making it a memorable part of a great personal experience.

The room was quite cold and the facilities worn out. For the price I paid I expected more modern and cozy interior. You are welcomed with a list of strict rules everyone needs to follow.

Great place to stay in Boston! They offer so many activities, we look forward to returning for a longer stay to explore more. Our room was small but the shared kitchen was huge and we found a space in the common area where we could do yoga and spread out a bit. We had no issues with noise or anything, highly recommend.

The location was great and close to South Station - as well as being a wonderfully walkable city, the staff had some great suggestions of where to go when I asked them! They also had a lot of great tours and activities throughout the week!

Perfect location. Walking distance for any main attraction. Big room with complete toiletries. Big kitchen and dining area.

Great location, spacious, clean,stayed in 4 bed dorm female, was the only one during my 2 night stay. Quiet and cozy ,great place to meet interesting people. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I always stay here if I am travelling alone or less than 2 days. I pay somewhere between $50 - $70 per night for my stay in Dec/Jan. It’s great value for money, staff is friendly, and the neighbourhood is very lively. It’s located right in China town and walking distance to the Theatre District

Beds are a little “tough” but it’s okay for the price you get pay.

I am disabled (on SSDI) and sometimes may need additional assistance or reasonable accommodations due to disability. I arrived this time with an elderly family member, a senior citizen, and we had a GREAT experience! Though HIBoston is typically for the younger and more mobile crowd, the staff were welcoming of us and treated my family with hospitality and respect. She enjoyed herself and so did I. We DEFINITELY plan to return and tell others within our community--those that are disabled and/or of retired age. We were SO impressed and encouraged. May God Bless the HIBoston Hotel! --Mario O.

I don't think anything could have been better--in fact, I even wondered whether I could work there! The environment felt safe, friendly, calm, and very peaceful.

The room light doesnt turn on with motion sensor. rm 309 bathroom, bed, and entrance door lights were fine.

24 hours 7 days a week check-in. Checkout was a breeze. Can also get drinks and snacks too!

Sometimes the queue can be a bit long but that's okay cos everyone got their turn.

I have been to hostels across the globe and this HI Boston held up! Yes its expensive, but all hostels in the US are this price, as well as large cities across the globe. I thought the beds were pretty comfortable, and had nice privacy with the curtains and personal lights. Towels were provided which was a huge plus. Try and go on one of the bar crawl nights, I was travelling with my brother and we made some great friends because of it, and ended up exploring the city with them later that week. The bathrooms get cleaned every day too which was nice. I loved the individual bathrooms that had toilet, sink and shower.

My 4 person room was getting ABSOLUTELY NUKED with heat in December. It originally was only around 63'F, which was fine because we were only in the room to sleep, but all of a sudden at day 4 the room was AN OVEN. It went up to 80 according to the thermostat, but I was the top bunk with the 2 heaters blasting into my bed, and with the curtain closed it must've been 95'F (felt like my hot Pilates class in that bed!!!). The front staff could only open the window. I know some other rooms also mentioned they were also getting really hot and always had the windows open too. Otherwise, only other downside was some of the bathrooms having broken lights, getting pretty warm after someone showered or the door got locked so we couldn't use it. All this said, I would easily come back to this hostel! I had a great time, and slept like a baby once the window got opened.
