Great staff. Awesome people I met.

There are many bathrooms, with different sizes. Some are rather dirty and have standing water. The showerhead has weak water flow, and the temperature is hard to adjust. When I was taking a shower, it was too hot.

The staff was kind, the place was clean and welcoming, the free activities the hostel provided every day were fun and enabled good interaction with other travelers. I liked that I had my own space in a 4-roomate bedroom. It enabled me to rest and to interact with the others when I choose too. There are more than enough bathrooms and showers, and they clean it frequently.

The bed I got was the top one and it was not easy for me to get up and down every time.

The hostel is in a good location and there is plenty space in the common room area for activities or general relaxation. Rooms were clean, facilities good and majority of staff were helpful.

The washrooms were clean and they have a spacious reception area. The location of the hotel was perfect. They allowed me to keep my luggage safely after checking out and their front desk staff were very kind

The dorm room's floor was very unclean. It was greasy and there was a risk of the beds getting stained if one steps on them. The dorm can improve by having a rug or floor mat inside the room.

Very convenient location, near metro stations and the city center is reachable on foot within 15 minutes.

The showers functioned a bit confusingly when it came to selecting the temperature of the water. I had to wait ~1 min to adjust the temperature. The showers were kind of old too..

This is a fantastic hostel. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The facility is top notch, well maintained, and always clean. It is safe, quiet, and well appointed. I cant say enough positive about my stay.

Fantastic facilities all round, with an easy check in and great location you couldn’t go wrong.

The beds are little creaky. Sleeping in a room with 4 people it’s quite common to get waken up by someone moving in bed even when they’re trying to be completely silent.

Just in my case, there’s a huge group of young male students on the same floor and they’re pretty loud until midnight.

Very friendly staff and clean towels were provided. There are many things to do in the hostel and it’s truly convenient. I would say that this was my best hostel stay in US.

The room was a bit smelly. A better ventilation is appreciated. Also many buttons of AC were missing, so it’s not possible to adjust.

Amazing location, you're in the middle of China town, close to public transportaion and some restaurants for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Nice clean bathrooms.

They don't offer breakfast. Sadly. Some other HiHostels do and I normally enjoy that a lot, especially to meet people. The upper bunk beds squeak a lot when turning.

Location is perfect, and great kitchen where you can share your best cooking recipes. Also generous common areas and bathrooms.

The only complain I would say is the bunk beds make too much noise when someone just moves a little. Matress could be a bit harder but I understand the with much used wear off faster.

I landed in Boston after Midnight and needed to be near the Union Station. This was the best value close by where I need to be the next day.

The AC in the room was too high, I couldn't find the way to make the room less cold.

Everything you expect, never lets you down. Comfort, value, location. I like the individual bathrooms which always seem to be available and plenty of them. Nicely situated close to bedrooms.

Not enough mugs available for tea/coffee.

Breakfast could have been complimentary.

The concept of low budget travelling, thanks to places like HI it's possible.

The airconditioning made a weird noise during the night.

Loved that it has a kitchen, so many restrooms, some decent ground rules, amazing cozy homely environment.

I liked the friendly staff, the clear instructions, laundry room, communal kitchen, single occupant bathrooms, and key card access to the rooms. The bathrooms have hand soap, a combined hair and body wash dispenser in the shower, paper towels, toilet paper, 4 wall hooks, a mirror, a small ledge under the mirror, and some bath mats. The showers have colored lights to show how much water you're using. A towel, top sheet, and blanket are provided on your assigned bed. Your assigned locker can be locked with your own combo lock or you can buy one from the front desk for $8. There are 2 assigned wall hooks by your bed. There is a cubby by the head of your bed that should have wall outlets. There are 2 wall outlets on the wall opposite your bed. There is a metal stool. You can close the blinds. There is a large mirror. The communal kitchen has burners, microwaves, communal pans, flatware, dishes, fridges, cabinets to store your labeled food, and a communal eating area. There is a lounge area with seating and desks if you need to work. The first floor has the front desk and travel-sized toiletries for sale like conditioner, toothpaste, and snacks. You can ask the front desk to hold your luggage for you if you check out but have a later flight. There is a board of planned events you can partake in. There is free Wi-Fi.

The outlet in the cubby by my bunk bed was blocked by the lockers, which could easily be fixed in the future if the staff moved it a few inches. The bunk beds were very creaky from any movement, so bring ear plugs. You can hear conversations from the adjacent room.

The events hosted by voluteers and staff were amazing! I also loved that each shower had a seperate room.

I felt comfortable the whole time and it was clean. They also offer activities that you can do with a guide and a group. I took part in the Skyline Walk and it was really fun!

The location is perfect and it’s a very clean space. The sheets were quite a soft material, I slept very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, even there was someone who spoke Spanish and was very helpful.

I didn’t find something that I didn’t like.

The atmosphere and the tours were great (and especially Tommy!)

The staff members were not nice and not helpful. The room was freezing without option to turn the AC off. The staff didn’t help us at all.

They offer plenty of tours, staff are friendly, comfortable areas to relax, free coffee before 9:30.

The room was extremely subpar for the price - was very stripped down compared to photos.

Location was great, near Boston Commons. Price was cheapest I found for anyplace to stay. Make sure you have earplugs and an eye mask to sleep soundly, it's a very busy place day and night. I felt safe and would use it again.

I locked myself out of my room at 2:30 am, as I mistakenly grabbed my ATM card instead of my room key when I had to use the bathroom. Having a hall/front desk phone in the hall may have made it less embarrassing than going down to the front desk in my nightgown and barefoot and waiting for help.

Private room and dorms were tight. Very limited space to open bags in either room.

The spaces were comfortable. Everything was squeaky clean.

I would label some basic "rules" for using the bathroom to other hostellers, like picking up the mat towels before leaving the bathroom and tossing them in the bin, or wiping the mirror or sink after use. It might be a cultural difference, or maybe some young hostellers are not used to sharing spaces and the etiquette of it.

I loved the community spaces and how close it was to everything. Having a communal kitchen was awesome! I liked how close I was to everything. To Beacon Hill, both parks, Back Bay, and train stations. It made getting around very easy.

Nothing was about the property itself but I did get my headphones stolen from my bunk. I left them in my bed near my pillow. They were there in the morning when I left, but when I got back they were gone. It was either the staff or one of my hostel roommates. So get a lock and put EVERYTHING in it. Don’t be naive like me and assume people won’t look through your bunk. Other than that my stay was awesome.
