Hotel Casa Fuster G.L Monumento, Barcelona

Room was large and beautiful. The breakfast was unbelievable and the room was just like Gaudi style. Rooftop pool and bar with a nice view

We liked everything

The roof terrace with cocktails and snacks is stunning. Very nice breakfast buffet and amazingly friendly staff also. The Aleia restaurant on the first floor is a true gourmet temple. The hotel is very well located as well.

The pool on the roof terrace is tiny. Also, it's a little awkward having to walk through a bunch of well dressed people enjoying their cocktails in order to take a dive

Clean and close to shops and activities

An iron will be a very nice touch. The light system very confusing and maybe a how to would be good to have

Slow service at the roof top bar. Slow service at breakfast i.e. speed and frequency food was replenished and beverages brought to the table

The property is sophisticated and mixes past charm and elegance with modern necessities. Although room #506 balcony didn’t open due to lack of door handles, we loved how this room kept what looked like the original windows. Absolutely loved the lounge bar. The staff were so wonderful and the wine was divine. Serving cookies with the tea was a happy surprise! The hotel staff in charge of daily room cleaning and nightly turndown service always made coming back to our room a welcoming sight. Although the conversion of the Canadian dollar to euros for a 3 night stay resulted in a very expensive stay, around $600 Canadian a night, we felt that it was worth it due to the hotels history and beautiful architecture.

Room 506 unfortunately is right below the top floor open bar and pool area, and directly below the bar, so there is some noise transfer while the bar is open. There was one event above us during our 3 nights which also kept us awake as we felt that we were inside a very loud party, but it ended around 11pm. In the lounge bar, out of the places that served olives, I like their olives the least and couldn’t eat them.

There was nothing I did not like.

The facilities were wonderful; really loved the restaurants and dining, but what made the visit exceptional was the staff. From every waiter to the concierge, to the front desk to the doorman to our maids, their willingness to make our stay extra special was both seen and felt.

Hotel Casa Fuster was a beautiful elegant old building with attention to detail. It had the Spanish charm that we were looking for.

The hotel is located in a historical building, which gives it extra charm. It may not be the first freshness, but it certainly does not hinder, rather, it gives an additional charm to those who enjoy historical buildings. Breakfast very good. The location (district) is very good, maybe the hotel is not in the very center, but in our case it was nice, because we are away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.

The Casa Fuster is excellently appointed with beautiful architecture, professional staff and superb accommodations. The terrace, restaurant, entertainment and breakfast buffet are wonderful additions to the wonderful experience.

I wish I could have stayed longer in the lovely location and afforded an even more deluxe space than the elegant single room reserved. There isn't anything about the location, the service and the amenities I didn't like!

I mainly like everything, from the door man and bell captain at the checkin. To the quality of the room, the food at the rooftop bar, the marvelous breakfast and the whole staff. Everything was 5 Star.

Lack of proper hotel lobby and bar, lack of spa, swimming pool on roof top very small, more for decoration than for swimming..

Hotel was amazing. The food was excellent. The location was perfect very easy to get around.

The location was perfect for the places we wanted to go. We did nit eat breakfast, but did have dinner on our first night and it was good. The room was perfect and the shower was amazing.

We were happy with everything, and did nit find anything wrong at all.

Great ambience and attentive staff throughout our stay. Stunning architecture is a theme in all settings of the hotel.

There was difficulty in getting the water to run properly hot in the bath or shower.

Comfortable rooms and beds/pillows. Delicious breakfast with plenty of fruit. Great location; loved Gràcia. Roof top bar super.

Really can’t call the rooftop pool a pool! Bar/lounge a bit dark.
