Cotton House Hotel, Barcelona

Breakfast was delicious we liked location of hotel and staff was lovely.

I booked a queen size room which was extremely small had no windows we felt claustrophobic the room was expensive. We decided to switch rooms in the end and paid for an upgrade. This was my only complaint .

Modern, clean and chic. the service is great.

Location is great, the hotel itself amazing, nice balcony, great pool, good breakfast and lovely stuff. Very helpful and room always clean.

We and all our other guests had a daily struggle with the room card, cause it wasnt working. That is something that just costs time, especially when the elevetor takes longer than normal.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff at the front desk concierge were very helpful pleasant friendly. I really enjoyed the rooftop pool and chairs and service at the pool.

I think the facilities themselves are average. There was no room to put our clothing. The very small “closet” in the bathroom had only three or four hangers and no bureau, so we had to keep all of our clothing in the suitcases for the entire week, which was inconvenient. The room is small with no view and no balcony. The air conditioning shut off at night. So after 2 or 3 nights, I called the front desk and they adjusted this. Seems that this should not have to be a request. One should not have to call the front desk to ask them to keep the room cool overnight. The restaurant in the hotel served poor quality coffee, & poor quality orange juice. The host at the restaurant was rude, wanting to seat me in the “living room” section vs. the actual dining area. I assume because I told him I only wanted coffee and juice. But the dining area was practically empty!

for the rate per night it was not a 5 star hotel, not clean, forgot orders, rooms need a refurb as old and lots of stains and grubbiness

the rooms, overpriced

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. Above all else, the staff were fantastic and worked extremely hard help us at all times. They were friendly, helpful, and had lots of times to help us plan our outings. Nothing was too much for them to do. From the door staff, to the front of house, to the concierge, all were amazing. My wife said the bed was the most comfortable she has ever slept in, great as she was 17 weeks pregnant. They wrote us a message on the mirror for our 2nd year wedding anniversary and left us a cake in the room. They really made it extra special. The design of the hotel is amazing, we particularly liked the bar area, the lighting and atmosphere were great and the staff very attentive. It is a stunning location.
