Wonderful old classy atmosphere, very helpful staff, relaxing swimming pool and great Thai restaurant by the river. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. Amazing stay for a couple!

A truly exceptional hotel with flawless attention to detail and personalized service. This is the finest hotel I have ever visited. The staff are warm, respectful and efficient without being obsequious. We particularly felt taken care of by the desk manager and by the porters at the desk (thank you Earth!). The suites are beautifully appointed and enormous with fresh flowers even in the washroom. The breakfast buffet is like no other with delicious dishes from Asia, the Middle East, Europe and America.

Very small detail but the tech in rooms was a bit old school - was not a problem and added charm and all worked, but different from London establishment. Pool food not to same standard as rest of offering.

We booked a double room. The bed was two twins pushed together with double sheets on, so it was not comfortable. We didn’t realise until we got into bed late after dinner so it was too late at night to change rooms.

Room service served a raw chicken satay, the manager assured us that the chicken had been sous-vide to temp, but this item had clearly had been missed and was without doubt raw. Initially an offer was made to take the chicken satay off the bill and I had to have another conversation to explain that the entire room service had been abandoned with the worry of potential food poisoning as a portion of the raw chicken had been eaten. Neither the dining experience nor the management response to the complaint were what we would hope for from the Peninsula hotel that prides itself on, and charges a premium for, exemplary customer service.

Good location, always up to expectation

There’s no place I would rather chill than The Peninsula Bangkok. Back to my beautiful suite with the heavenly bed & views over the Chao Phraya, the his & hers bathroom (with a choice of robes!) & a seperate wc for one of us 🙄 The walk-in wardrobe complete with newspaper/shoe shine box, plus daily treats, endless supply of coffee & ice… still the best buffet breakfast (more on the food later) & the most relaxing, well managed pool in Bangkok. Even the boat captains excel. My first Pen experience and still my favourite.

Literally nothing could have been improved upon

We came as a family with 5 in 2 rooms. An exceptionally great hotel in Bangkok with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are fantastic, so is the pool and spa area. I found the transportation services extremely practical, esp the boat services. The terrace cafe for a drink at night is then a great spot to close the day.

Breakfast is at times a bit crowded, try to avoid peak hours. I would recommend to the hotel management to open the secondary breakfastlocation in the chines restaurant by default to avoid queue at peak times

Exceptional hospitality and a very classy hotel / ambience. It was a privilege to stay at Peninsula because of the service - 1) from arrival (where several staff immediately greeted and took care of the luggage) 2) the swift check in (i believe the person’s name was Lin?) with such ease and smile. Thank you for the large room (upgrade i think) and for the high floor (one request that i had). 3) well appointed room, serene and elegant. It might look slightly dated (carpet) but it was perfect. Fruits were ready in the room, which were provided every day. Enjoyed them very much as snack. 4) housekeeping - so attentive, tidying up the phone charging cables and leaving lens cleaning cloth for my glasses. Turn down service would lay slippers out and provide a new plate of fresh fruits again. 5) pool - ample amount of space dotted with loungers and cabanas. Had incredibly attentive staff who would bring water and also set up the cabana or loungers of your choice. Only stayed two nights but they really knew their guests. I was at the cabana and my mother came much later but the staff ushered her to where i was, without having to ask my mother. 6) breakfast at the river terrace - great view, exceptional service. Variety of food. A tiny bug fell into my coffee and the staff noticed it and brought a new coffee for me swiftly. Everyone was super attentive. I regretted that I had only booked two nights at Peninsula.

I have been staying at The Pennisula every time I have been in Bangkok for the past thirty years. It is one of my favorite hotels in the whole world. The hospitality, the contemporary comfort of all the rooms, the sheets, the gym, the concierge and front desk are all world class. Also it is hard to beat the breakfast buffet!!!

Almost everything, the courteous staff, the prompt services, the location, and the ferry drop to nearby places. loved it all! also, the rooms are an absolute treat! we had a wonderful corner room that made our celebrations unforgettable!

It was our second time in The Peninsula Bangkok and I must say, everything is still perfect - from the moment you enter this beautiful place, starting from the lovely smell that makes you simply feel at home to every single thing that could be mentioned.. The location is just perfect as you can reach lots of points of interest via the river or the Skytrain just opposite the river. Very important especially in order to avoid the heavy traffic in BKK during rush hours. The hotel offers complimentary regularly boats to 3 different piers. The rooms are very nice, spacious, spotless clean, well looked after with very comfortable beds, all comfort one needs, daily fresh fruits and biscuits and have spectacular views over the river. Room service is perfect as well! The hotel itself is simply beautiful, with plenty precious details and extraordinary, professional concierge service ( actually the best service we ever received ) always very nice, super friendly and helpful staff in the entire hotel, reception, pool area, restaurants as well as breakfast area. Starting the day with outstanding breakfast while sitting next to Chao Phra river is definitely unforgettable. The pool area is stunning and big enough with plenty nice, comfortable sun beds, great service, nice food & drinks, lovely staff and again a lovely view on the river. A really great place to take a nice rest in between work or sightseeing.. Further the hotel offers plenty really nice and authentic activities, such as "mindful breathing" or "meeting up with monks in the early morning for the Tag Bart ritual" and many more. Of course we can only recommend the delicious food & drinks in all restaurants. This trip was a surprise trip for my daughter and the hotel helped to make this stay a really extraordinary and unforgettable one for her! Thank you so much for the stunning suite and all these precious moments! We definitely will be back ;-)

Just great hotei in great location. The ship connection over the river is fun, great. We just like it.

Very nice and professional staffs, free boat shuttle to the Iconsiam and public boat station was great, breakfast for western part was very good quality.

Window was facing partly to other rooms and people from other rooms could look through our window, pool water was too warm ( maybe they need to circulate the water more frequently), breakfast for asian food could be improved.

-First class-Service, -very friendly, professional, caretaking staff -a lot of small things done right / that’s the big difference to many other 5* hotels -many little amenities in the room …good job +++
