Cepik Villa Sidemen, Bali

The property was absolutely what we wanted and more. The room was large, clean and very comfortable with a lovely view onto the gardens. The pool is in a peaceful setting with sun loungers to sit and chill. If you get chance during your stay treat yourself to a massage. Yes it’s more expensive than the one up the road however the setting at the hotel is special and the massage was amazing, one of the best we’ve had (plus they use local people). Yoga is well worth it too, a great way to start the day. Held outside with the rush of the river flowing by, it was a small intimate class with great direction and points for improvement. The breakfast was lovely and we also enjoyed lunch when we arrived. There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within walking distance and I encourage you to visit them and give them a try too. The staff themselves make this place special, they are welcoming, friendly, helpful. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back.

There’s absolutely nothing not to like about this property

The location was magical. The gardens and pool were beautiful. The rooms were luxurious. The views from the room and restaurant were breathtaking. The ladies at the spa were exceptional. The food was great, especially the Bali breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole experience will be one I will never forget.

Staff were all friendly, gave us very useful recommendations about Lempuyang Temple which literally saved us hours. Helped us with so many little things and worked with me up surprise my girlfriend. It was the second time I've stayed here and I will definitely return

Everything was great! Last time I stayed here I mentioned the bathrooms were getting a little old. But this time they'd all been upgraded and were just wonderful.

Absolutely perfect in every way. A beautiful room with a glorious view of rice fields. Fabulous food at the restaurant. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

I really liked everything. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was great from start to finish. Definitely recommend this place!

Nothing to complain about

The environment is well-kept and looks great. It is a bit away from Ubud, therefore less noisy. They offer a lot of free activities e.g. yoga classes, which were great. The SPA was incredible. All in all, it is one of the best properties around Ubud.

Ubud overall is busy and noisy. The food options, although great, were not of the best quality compared to other places I visited.

The room had a BEAUTIFUL view to rice fields. It was impecable, comfortable and the staff was super friendly.
We did the silver workshop and the easy trek. We recommend both, even though it was rainy most of out time there, the views were great and the guide was nice.
The breakfast and restaurant were delicious. We did not feel the need of eating somewhere else.

Beautiful view from the bedroom, right amongst one of the smaller rice fields. Stunning sunrises. Nice big room. Awesome yoga class offered just a short walk down the road.

The bathroom needs updating, our bath had big cracks that were patched up and some old stains. The tiles on the walls had big cracks that were poorly patched up. The pool area is also a little tired looking. Massage was ok but not great. Staff also seemed not as happy as other places we stayed. We also had an incident where I mistakenly paid twice and was told I’d be given my cash refund when I arrive however when I arrived and asked for the cash (which I was planning on using in town as there are limited ATMS around) I was told they didn’t have the cash available on hand and maybe I could use it to spend on extra services they offered in the hotel. After pushing back they managed to get cash out by the evening which I appreciated, but strange and not very professional.

Cepik Villa is a really nice option with all the space and comfort one can ask for in Sidemen. Not the most upscale option but works really well for my wife and I, will recommend.

Breakfast option ordering procedure can be improved.

Great people, lovely location, nice food. They offer transport to many places and great activities. I loved the cooking class nearby. A master chef in Balinese cuisine is born.

Superb hotel, great setting in lush countryside. Wonderful attentive staff. Very nice breakfast, lots of options there was a seperate vegan and vegetarianmenu, we ate at the restaurant at lunch time and evening meal as the food was so good.
Sidemen is a lovely place to walk around, also longer walks through the local rice fields offer nice views and fresh air.
The hotel also offers traditional massages if you fancy some pampering and private yoga sessions too.

The room size was very large, the bed was comfortable, the aircon was very silent and cooling really well. The staff was very friendly.

One could see that the room facilities are running a bit old but nonetheless, the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Overall we had a really pleasant stay in Sideman.

Loved how the staff greeted me with a free hibiscus drink which was absolutely delicious and I sat out enjoying the mountain view as I signed in. When I ordered the same drink in the morning they offered it to me 'on the house' which was lovely. Beautiful little hidden spot behind Sidemen.

Not much to say, showers could have been a little more modern and powerful, but otherwise quite comfortable.

Very nice location, hotel is extremely authentic and has incredible panorama view from the restaurant. Staff is kind, always welcoming and helpful. Hotel has a pool and real Balinese nature vibes. Located in a nice street with many restaurants. Staff was even helping to plan our local visits. Have separate area inside for Yoga and meditations on the ground with the view on the sunrise. Perfect place to recharge yourself. Very fast delivery of the scooter.

Hotel is not modern and furniture is vintage, but it feels like the local vibes still, would not suit for those who needs modern vibes. Some insects and mosquitoes is the case but ors located in front of rice fields and thats normal. Bed has separate thing to close from them.

This was a wonderful location for a relaxing holiday looking out over the rice paddies. Going to sleep to the sounds of frogs and geckos, and waking up to the sound of cicadas. The staff were great and the breakfasts included had a good variety.
It was great value for money, and they have a lovely pool where you can relax.
It is a short walk to shops etc, but next time we will likely hire a motorbike to allow us to get around more.

We booked a very nice one-day tour, would recommend, but it was a little unclear if the price included the entrance tickets or only the driver. We still had to pay entrance fees, which was fine, but it would have been nice if that had been communicated more clearly.

The room was spacious, with a great outlook over the fields. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and having the restaurant on site was convenient.

While the pool area was pleasant enough, it would benefit from some maintenance. Also the paths and steps were quite slippery when wet and would benefit from high pressure cleaning. The location was a little way from other services, which could be a plus or minus.

I've stayed at Cepik Villa several times now. I just love the peacefulness of their property, the amazing staff (thank you Ketut and Anom!) and super tasty food offered at their restaurant (with great vegan options!).

The peaceful setting, comfortable room, delicious breakfast and stunning gardens. This was our favourite stay in Bali!

Perfectly located for easily getting to the best activities in Sidemen. We did the cooking class with their sister restaurant just 5 minutes walk away.

Reception will help you with booking any tours or activities in the area. The service we received from the team at Cepik was impressive.

Everything! Staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. Massage was exceptional. Amazing organic food. Beautiful location and views.

Some things are in need of maintenance like cracked and loose pavers and concrete around pool and moss growing between tiles on the wall of the pool.

Incredible room with incredible views and incredible staff. Simply the best and extremely worth it. We recommend the flower bath in a bath with those views.

We liked everything.

Clean and very nice bungalows. Views from window and yard are just stunning. Nice restaurant! Stayed only one night, would have liked to stay longer.
