The breakfast is awful — it’s just one small dish and we’re still hungry afterward. The room is not beautiful at all and lacks refinement. The price is exorbitant; for the quality of the services, it should be at least three times cheaper. There’s a terrible noise in the pool area. Nothing works in this hotel — everything needs to be reviewed. It absolutely doesn’t deserve its 9.1 rating

Location in Seminyak is great and overall the hotel is excellent with helpful staff.

Breakfast was disappointing

Property is beautiful and pool is great. I have had a great time at the colony previously but this time I felt a little bit like an after thought.

There were worms coming out my shower.

Staff were super friendly and helpful for my short stay. Walking distance to main shopping strip, bars and cafes. Hotel has a lovely boutique feel about it, tasteful decor and nice little pool.bed very comfortable !

There was a smell from the drain thar was hard to ignore although it did go away after a little while. Poolside room was a little noisy with the running water and cats around but to be expected in a busy location

Breakfast could be better.

Pretty well everything was in it's place and we had a great time . Maybe the tall tree blocking the sun at the Club pool area could be lowered, everyone was commenting . Thanks for great stay , see ya next year

This was our second stay at the Colony Hotel and it was a great experience again. Good room, excellent location and friendly staff.

We just landed back in Aus after an incredible stay at the Colony. A gorgeous hotel, the gardens, interiors and staff were all perfect. Location is the best. We’ll definitely be back. Can’t wait!

Beautiful hotel

There is mexican disco near and it is very hard to sleep with the music so loud and vibrating in the room.

Our room was very spacious and having the extra lounge / dining room suited us well. The staff were friendly and accommodating and met all our needs. The breakfast menu was varied each day with a combination of buffet and ordered food. Location was great with lots of restaurants close by.

The manager was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect. Was right in the heart of Semiyack. But when you were inside the hotel walls complete quiet. Any time back in Bali I will stay at this hotel!! 11 out of 10

The location close to the beach was short distance. The design of the hotel and pool area. And so close to Kim Soo restaurant. Staff are nice and friendly

It’s not that new as it shows in pictures Location is door to door with a club so was hard to sleep at night it’s like u are above a club. Quality of food breakfast is not wow I felt lack of staff but they did their best to serve in a quick manners. Lack of staff attending at the pool

Very well designed around a great pool. Great breakfast menu and very comfy beds. Good restaurants nearby as well. Staff was very nice and helpful

The location is great for exploring Seminyak & Pettitenget. Lovely surrounds and garden along with a good swimming pool although at times it was hard to get a deck chair!

Breakfast was extremely busy on one of the days and all the food items came out under cooked. No proper coffee served either just a coffee machine.......... It would have been nice to have some kind of balcony/seating area outside your room.

Fantastic location, 2 min walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. Lovely large, light comfy room, which was very clean and I liked that it had an iron and board available in the room. Bed and pillows were both very comfy. Lovely pool area, staff were very accommodating in helping with sun lounges so we could sit by the pool. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Great little shop/restaurant next door, that offered a great menu. Breakfast was good, I liked that it was cooked to order.

Good breakfast! Also had room service - satay was excellent! Really liked the architecture of the hotel, transported me back to a bygone era when right smacked in Semiyak. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The lobby patio seems somewhat wasted as perhaps more activities could happen out there with better fans and cooling devices and drinks or coffee or even breakfasts.

Probably the best hotel we have stayed at in Bali. Great sized room. Fantastic pool. Staff and facilities. Have stayed at the Seminyak, the W and the Legian and aside from beach side location they are not as h Good.

The only criticism is the kettle in the room takes about 10 mins to boil.

Great location in Seminyak. Wonderful & helpful staff who speak english very well. Property is elegant, love the decor. Reliable wifi. Very nice breakfast buffet. 7-10 mins walking to Seminyak beach & beach clubs, restaurants, shops. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again

Our stay in the Colony hotel was nothing but wonderful. We stayed in another hotel in Seminyak first and passed by the Colony a couple of times and liked the look of it, sometimes the front looks nice and the rest is not that great, but the Colony is charming and elegant from start to finish. You walk into a beautiful lobby, where you are warmly welcomed by the staff. After a couple of sleepless nights due to sound we moved to the Colony and when I told about our previous experience we got an upgrade to a very quiet and beautiful junior suite. The service is excellent with house keeping coming in while we enjoyed breakfast to tidy the room up, replace towels, water etc. and at night to make the room ready for the night again.

Two small recommendations are replacing the coffee machine as the coffee is not that great and on several occasions we waited a bit too long for food that we ordered. Having said that I will definitely be coming back and recommending the hotel to anyone who is looking for an elegant stay in Seminyak.
