After a 3 hr drive we arrived at Blue Moon Villas around Midnight, Made our way into the room I booked being the Family room. A little underwhelmed as the photos i seen online didn't even compare. Was very small for a family of 4 adults. Next morning at Breakfast I politely spoke with the Manager and she was extremely helpful and offered to show me the other available rooms on the water. OMG I was blown away. We couldnt get a family room bot we got 2 separate villas 1 being the penthouse and they were just perfect. The views were next level. Infinity pool looking over the ocean was a lovely place to spend Xmas 2023. Highly recommend but encourage to book on the beach side of the road for the real Amed Experience. We were able to hire scooters and explore as we love to do when in Bali,

Friendly staff. Nice food although a bit pricey. Nice rooms although needs a bit of tlc. Swimming pool really nice and with a nice view. Massage staff were brilliant and good value for money.

The air con did not cool the room.enough so the room felt ver warm throigh the night. Door to bathroom really stiff and noisey when opening in the middle of the night. Overall the hotel needs an overhaul as you can see the electric cables of the pool light. The property is not beach front... and only the private villas have a pool with proper ocean view. So felt that outlr room with icean view did not meet at all exoectations on description. The hotel is divided in 2 by a main road which considering is a very small town in the middle of nowhere is very very loud! Access to the beach is appalling. If not the dodgy stair case not far there is a footpath full of rubbish a little bit further. The beach is nice though. A bit disappointed with the property. Photos sell it as a much nicer looking place. But was a nice stay overall

Toilet didnt flush Cab driver ordered for us was too pushy.

The staff at Blue Moon went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. Even helping us with our two toddlers when they could see we were struggling. The rooms were clean and everything was comfortable. The pools were good too. We had a few issues with the fan and air conditioner but staff helped straight away. Very quiet away from the centre of town.

The family room didn’t have much space for putting luggage. It’s not right in the centre in town so expect to rent a bike to travel around. It’s not a criticism just something to keep in mind.

Great place, with s fantastic ocean view. But the best of all is staff, all of them were kind and polite, especially Neni, who was so helpful and nice to us. What ever we needed or ask, she had a solution. Nice 2 pools, not so big, but with a gret, fresh water and an ocean view. Lovely breakfast and dinner.

A bit close to the road,so you can hear "piip" all the time.

I would recommend staying in the villas down the bottom and paying a little more as the view and the rooms are amazing. Staff were very attentive and good was great.

Location wasn’t the best but if you can drive a scooter your a 20 drive into Amed.

It’s a beautiful ocean view room with a shared pool for 3 accommodations. The live music Saturday night at the restaurant was awesome and we enjoyed some good cocktails.

The main street (not too busy) in between the rooms and restaurant can be quiet loud and some details of the property would need some restoration.

The staff was very good and sweet. The room was spacious and the ocean view was nice. We enjoyed being out of the towns as it was much quieter and having rented a scooter from the hotel, it was easy to get places quickly.

The food at the restaurant wasn't to our total liking although it was bad. We found many other places near to eat that were only a 5-10 minute scooter ride and a couple of places at only 1-10 minute walk.

In typical booking.com style the photos talked the rooms up. Unfortunately we booked an Ocean view room which was tiny even though it was great value.

The location is remonte from Amed center, and the pool can become crowded as many clients want to enjoy it at the same time.

Excellent location and staff

First room was not great! But we were given a new room which was awesome! Food quality and quantity can be improved.

The villa is excellent with swimming pool for the 3 villas, you can see the sunrise right outside the villa. The staff are very helpful and the service is very good.

Too many mosquitos, there are mosquito nets for the beds but no mosquito incence provided to keep them away.

very quiet, beautiful infinity pools overlooking the ocean and grounds which you had mostly to your self. fabulous views over the ocean f from the rooms and sunrises.

a little remote if you don’t have a scooter or own transport. not near any shops and only one small local restaurant in walking distance.

The staff is hospitable and friendly, the concept of the hotel in general is authentic and lovely.

I would say it’s used a lot and cost higher than should be.

pictures on the website are somehow misleading are they empathise on the infinity pool above the ocean, to which in fact you only have access if you stay in a private villa.

Lovely, homely hotel - exceptional staff, really nice big rooms with super comfortable beds and very high quality linen. We worked remotely from Blue Moon and the WiFi was great (30mps+ speed). Restaurant food there is top notch, as are the margaritas, highly recommend having dinner here. 3 pools across the property so never felt crowded, located at the far east end of Amed area, lovely and quiet and away from the main tourist area.

Facilities are a little dated and worn in areas but in good condition, some areas could do with a good waterblast to remove the discolouration and the place would look fabulous.

Very good restaurant that was open late. Beautiful views. Well-appointed rooms. Great staff - so friendly and generous and helpful. Very good massages on our terrace arranged by the hotel.

Would have loved an actual massage room (or balé) for more privacy during massages.

Location was a bit far from Amed. Didn't have good restaurants nearby. Facilities were a bit uncleaned.

Room and bathroom were lovely and spacious. Housekeeping was great. Breakfast was very nice

The view from our balcony was stunning and we were able to use the pool area which was very relaxing and peaceful. Excellent breakfast included in the price. We were served lunch by the pool.

The all hotel need some TLC. like broken tile in and around the pool, Old furniture. breakfast is expensive for what it is. it is below Bali standard.

The service , cheerfulness and concern of the staff was outstanding, and were only to ready to help and assist. View from the room was great, from the infinity pool to the ocean exceptional. Likewise the dining room.
