Everything I needed and more.
The walking distance to everything. Rainey street, six street, downtown - everything is super close to this hotel. The valet parking was also quick- every time we needed our car- they had it outside in less than 5 minutes. The elevators were also quick and fast. The pool was also nice and heated, & I loved how there was no kids. The hotel itself is very nice and looks luxurious.

I’d go again.
The room was nice.
Hair in the tub. No area for pets.

Amazing stay with amazing staff in a convenient location.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended places to eat that were just as good as they said! The social hour with free drinks was also a nice way to meet other people staying in the hotel.
Rainey ST, right behind (beside?) the hotel had a lot of clubs and bars that played loud music Friday and Saturday nights, which made it hard to get to sleep.

Good essentials, space, allows pets but not luxurious
Centrally located. The room we had (spa queen) was HUGE! The room itself was clean, comfy and awesome. The staff was equally awesome. We had everything we needed, and they were there to help. The hotel inside was very quiet even though Rainey is booming a block over. Also pet friendly and no fees! Valet parking only.
It’s temporary, but the hotel is surrounded by construction of huge towers on every side. So the view doesn’t exist and the streets are dirty and filled with tons of crew. You could hear the trucks loading in early in the morning (weekday) and we were in the highest floor. If you are bringing a pet bc of this you will have to take a bit of a walk toward lady bird lake down Rainey to find the single patch of grass for pets- doable but not the most convenient. The lobby also lacked and is under construction. It’s a more simple hotel than others. You can’t go down to your car, if you need anything out of it you have to call valet to have them bring your car around.

Would have loved a coffee machine in the room

Great stay in the middle of Austin with soo many places and things to enjoy!
Geraldine’s restaurant was amazing! Great food, great service. Cool vibe.
Price point was a bit high. Huge towers going up were a bit distracting and noisy. No easy parking.

Pleasant
the room was spacious, with adjustable AC, and the bathroom was large, The service in the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. The cafe has delicious food and snacks. The location is good, if you need to travel places, as it is right by the main roads ( for us it was a plus ). The closeness of the river and trail would be great if you did not have to get there through dusty construction.
Over all the hotel itself is absolutely lovely but right now it is located in the .... construction zone. I was very disappointed that the hotel did not have this information on the website, because I would book it somewhere else. As of April 25, there are 5 huge buildings rising up right at your window. It's loud and dusty, and even being at the pool was not pleasant having a crane right above you. Luckily the front desk staff was very helpful and put us in the quieter room, which was very nice and only some noise of construction ( which started at 7 am ) was detectable. I live in NYC and I am used to noise 24/7 but construction from all around you, is just too much

Very good
Fun hotel with a nice design, big modern rooms and comfortable bed. Location is great for Rainey Street.
Only minor things, but the shower was very weak, no overhead lighting so room was a bit dark, tv interface not userfriendly as proper tv guide. For some unknown reason the lift beeped at every floor which was quite annoying!

Pleasant
The room was comfortable, the beds were great and thankfully we stayed at the 13th floor so it was very quiet. I wanted to try the pool but the weather was not good.
The hotel is nice, but only worth the discounted price. If I had paid the full price for the room I stayed in it would have been a rip off. Charging $63 for the garage at the basement is also too much. The neighborhood is very crowded and incredibly noisy. The constructions everywhere around make it impossible to walk anywhere. It is so sad to see the Rainey st district overtaken by skyscrapers. Not choosing this area of the town for my next visit.

Nice hotel, too much construction and noise
This is a nice hotel in a pretty good location. You can walk to South Congress bridge and the shopping district in about 20 minutes or so or to the Capital building in about the same amount of time. It's also a 1 minute walk to the famous Rainey street which has a bunch of unique bars and patios. The hotel has a great restaurant that surprisingly had really great breakfast. The eggs benedict with potatoes was awesome. The pool area is a great place to have a few drinks and just relax. The rooms are pretty standard rooms with king beds and a walk in shower. The staff were always willing to help with any request we had as well. Overall, a nice hotel.
There is a ton of construction going on in this area and I mean a ton. The hotel is entirely surrounded by large condo developments on every single side. I didn't count, but there are at least 4 new buildings just being built around all sides of the hotel. I don't mean near the hotel, I mean right next to the hotel. You will be completely surrounded by construction for the next 4+ years. It's incredibly loud and makes it difficult to enjoy the pool area because of the constant work - even on Saturday and Sunday this work continues. I would also say that outside of the construction you can hear the music from the bars on Rainey street until the late hours of the evening. All that to be said, if you're looking for peace and quiet this is not the hotel for you. Not for the next few years anyways until the construction wraps up. I would also say that the pool area has a ton of potential, but the pool was terribly cold. We had to ask them to turn the heater on. Overall, the pool area is not taken care of either. All the cushions are left out overnight, typically wet in the morning, the pool seating areas are not "set up" as you would expect at a hotel with dry cushions, towels, etc. It's a bit of a free for all and a wasted opportunity to create a little oasis in my opinion.

The valet parking staff were super nice.
Casher lady at the coffee shop is very rude.

cool boutique hotel, would stay again,
cool boutique-y hotel. great area - but loud at night. each room has a noise cancelling machine which worked like a charm. the first room was perfect except the staff placed us next to a bachelorette party with an adjoining door - not so smart. we had to move rooms. the second room was really dirty. restaurant was great. pool was great.
staff should have been smarter to not place a couple next to a bachelorette party. such an amateur move. second room was dirty - asked to have it deep cleaned which never happened.

Hotel great, staff friendly, Geraldines at bonus feature

Lots of construction around the Hotel - noisy, dusty and difficult for vehicle access

Great hotel and great location
Not a fault of the hotel but that area has a lot of construction so it is congested, can be noisy during day time.

Nice, but gouged price
New, clean accommodations, nice design, well appointed, and fairly large rooms. Rainey Street location is convenient to downtown, convention center, as well as all the nearby bars. There is a good bit of construction going on in the area, but we honestly couldn't hear any of it from the room.
The nickle and diming on the bill was outrageous. City of Austin hotel tax is high and would be the same at any other accommodation, but the kicker was that between one night of parking ($65) and the mandatory ($30) *daily* guest amenity fee, it was an additional $100 on top of what we expected to pay. Ouch!

Fabulous! We will be back.
Staff all so nice and friendly/professional. Location, Geraldine’s with live music. Great cocktails. Nice room. Gym and pool fantastic!!
Halls and areas outside elevators need a little detailed vacuuming in the corners and where the carpet meets the wall.

My stay was very pleasant.
All facilities and staff were very good. Most of the Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the bar staff were great! My room was very comfortable & quiet (apart from the construction noise). Geraldines Restaurant had good food and live entertainment every night.
Construction was going on all around the hotel, so it was very noisy and dusty. Also I think I've been overcharged and have emailed the hotel querying this, so hopefully it will be resolved.
