Hotel Electra Metropolis, Athens

Everything. The hotel is nice, the room is large, the staff is friendly, and the view from the restaurant on the rooftop is just magnificent. It's worth the stay. The bathroom is spacious, the beds are comfortable, it is clean, and the room has a nice view. The breakfast was fantastic, very well presented and full of options. I miss it! The SPA area is great, beautiful pool, and a good sauna. Super close to the Acropolis, main tourist sites, and to the famous streets full of restaurants, shops and life. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Very good location , We visited in February and was expecting it to be quiet and yet was extremely busy, had to wait a while to get a table for breakfast, apart from that all was very good

I had the pleasure of spending a few days at this amazing hotel, and I am absolutely delighted! From the very first moment, you can feel the professionalism of the staff – friendly and helpful employees took care of every detail of my stay. The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds that ensure a perfect night's sleep. The breakfast is a true feast – a wide selection of fresh products, aromatic coffee, and local specialties that will delight even the most demanding food lovers.. The gorgeous view to the Acropolis completed the amazing experience. The rooftop restaurant is first class. The hotel's location is ideal – close to the main attractions, yet in a quiet area that allows for complete relaxation. Plus, the spa area and swimming pool make you feel like you're in paradise! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and impeccable service. I will definitely come back at the first opportunity!

I had an incredible stay. Definitely booking my stay here next time I visit Athens. Magical view, sumptuous breakfast, practical location (within walking distance of several points of interest) & extremely helpful and professional staff.

Location, Friendly Staff

Spa area is not up to the Hotel standard, the Haman area had a very unpleasant smell, immediately got out. As we were a couple and requested a double bed, we were assigned 2 Beds. The Breakfast area is too small to accommodate the number of guests, a feeling of factory production.

Beeing chosen 3rd or fourth time in a row, this says something. Hotel is great. Great views over Acropolis from the top floor restaurant. Staff is great, cleanliness, food, location.

The location of the hotel is magnificent; we can walk to many places in the heart of Athens (Monastraki, Plaka, Syntagma and Ermu). We also walked to the National Archaeological Museum. The hotel room is spacious, comfortable, the quality of sleep is good. The breakfast is extraordinary both in taste and in the view it offers. The welcoming lady in the breakfast room, who gathered her blonde hair into a bun at the nape of her neck, made us happy with her sincere smile and sincerity, we would like to thank her specially.

The stuff from reception very unfriendly. The room we had with acropole view ( 822) had first the view of the old buildings around. I wouldnt have payed for such a room if i would know. But the photos on description are showing other view then the reality. I would rate this hotel as a 4 star one not having the level of of a 5 stars

This hotel was exceptional in every way. We cannot fault the hotel, the staff, rooms, facilities, breakfast or location. Everything was perfect!

We loved everything.

Room was comfortable and clean. Room service did two visits a day to check on items provided. Beds were comfortable and the chair and desk were also good. Shower was excellent (large rain shower head, plus hand head) although had a bit of room flooding when we used it. Little touches, like leaving a chocolate during turn down service were lovely. We were there over New Years Eve and the hotel left a traditional greek new years cake for us to enjoy, and a small locally made ornament to celebrate the holiday. It was a veery thoughtful touch that added to the pleasure of the stay. The lobby area was clean and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed a coffee in the cafe area. The absolute highlight was the breakfast buffet. The restaurant area has the most spectacular view of The Acropolis. The buffet was fresh, with lots of variety including local and international ingredients. The hotel was located within a 15 minute walk of the Acropolis museum and well situated for shopping and site seeing. I didn't book a room with a view, so was looking out over a narrow street, but still had some regional view.

Almost nothing to complain about. If you are looking for quiet, it may not be the best choice as the evening crowds could be heard in the rooms. Really enjoyed the stay.

I like the view of Acropolis from the roof.We had breakfast on the rooftop. The staff is very welcoming. The room is so clean and modern. The bed is comfortable. It is at the heart of the city. The location is perfect and very close to famous shopping street.

Very modern and clean with beautiful rooms. The spa and pool was absolutely stunning, we spent around 2 hours every day there! The breakfast was very good, such a nice view to wake up to. Location is excellent. They prepared a lovely surprise for my birthday and accommodated my allergies which was such a nice addition :)

The rooftop restaurant dinner was nice and the view was beautiful but not really worth the price in my opinion. The staff were lovely and helpful but there was 1 or 2 comments that didn’t quite sit right with me.

After a 19 hour flight walking into the friendly and luxurious comfort of our room was a welcome relief. The roof top breakfast in the shadow of the Parthenon was a delight. A highlight at breakfast was seeing the Evzones on the hill raising the Greek Flag. An unrivalled experience from a breakfast space. The common areas were extremely welcoming and serve great coffee. Will definitely be back next Christmas.

The rooms are quite old, bathroom door didn’t shut, twin beds pushed together rather than a king and some noise from the lobby drifted up the atrium.

The sofa in the living room should be a bit longer because it was too short for a 13-year-old to sleep on. Also, every night at exactly 00:30, the street cleaners and garbage collectors arrived near the hotel. Their work was quite noisy and woke us up each time.

I love that hotel is close to every attraction. Shopping museums restaurants. Very clean the rooms are little bit small but who is staying in the rooms 😉 The staff was very helpful (specially front desk) and polite and gives a feeling like family more than hotel staff. The food was so tasty. We attended the New Year Eve Dinner, it was one of the best festive dinner we had for a long time and the presents they gave to us for new year was so thoughtful. The best decision we made to make a reservation at this hotel.

Everything from the moment we entered the hotel, they came to help with the luggage, the staff at the reception were willing to help, the spa, the rooms, the breakfast on the roof, they allowed us to stay on the last day for two more hours before the flight, excellent service

Excellent breakfast, delicious and with a variety of choices. The view of the Acropolis from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. The location is really good, within a walking distance from all the main sites. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend.

The shower room itself is comfortable. The showerhead, however, doesn't really do the job - it's very large but the water flow is too weak and doesn't feel effective. The robe rack is on the inside bathroom door, and every time you open the door, it feels like they're touching the bidet. Not a good idea. Lack of towel racks

The staff went above and beyond with excellent service and providing guides for tours and guidance for our trip. The bar, restaurant and cleaning staff were the friendliest and most efficient I have ever seen. The location is perfect to walk to all the tourist sites and markets we wanted to see. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing and a great place to relax. Overall, one of the best places I have stayed in the world.
