The location

All in all it was very nice, but it really does depend on the member of staff you get. We had 2 at reception who were awful and unfriendly and one who went out of his way to assist.

Five star service. Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent amenities including gym, pools, restaurant, room service. Great view from the restaurant. Very great location and walking distance to sight seeing areas. I would stay here again!

The indoor pool wasn’t enough warm and clean , the jacuzzi didn’t work.

The staff very friendly, helped me with something personal. We took the acropolis balcony suite and it’s just an amazing look. The shower, the bed, and futures are total fine. The suite isn’t so big but it was enough. Location is perfect.

Morning breakfast is a bit packed. But the top dinning room is very nice for view or for bar at night

The only issue I faced, and what I did not like, was that my request for a double bed was not considered, even though I specifically asked for it during the booking process and again before arrival. Unfortunately, I was given a different bed arrangement, which caused inconvenience and did not meet my needs.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Location is great. Staff was very helpful, helped with booking restaurant and taxi for airport. Rooms were very clean, breakfast and service were very good.

Exceptional Hotel - a true 5 star from location , amenities , staff , breakfast ...

- The breakfast is very rich in choice and tasty (around 8 hot dishes, multiple sorts of breads, spreads, vegetables, fruit, yoghurt, desserts, and much more). - The view from the restaurant (where e.g. the breakfast happens) is amazing. - There is a small sauna and a small gym. - Our room was spacious and furnished well. - The location is absolutely exceptional -- close to all major attractions and a metro station (Syntagma). - The hotel left small gifts in the room -- e.g. welcome cake bites.

Let's start with the main reason why I only gave 8 points: The Wifi was absolutely horrendous during our visit. There are 3 open Wifis and none of them provided a satisfactory speed for modern usage (like streaming movies or watching Youtube). There were a lot of guests in the hotel over the Christmas days, so this might have influenced it -- but in general this feels like a major oversight for a hotel that seems so modern in all other aspects. Minor issues: - The double bed is two beds next to each other. Very hard to really be close together if you don't want to sink into the gap between the beds. - The sauna is small and needs reservation. On full days the reservations are all booked in advance and you might not get a spot.

The hotel is super clean . The stuff are so friendly. The location is the best , close to everything by walking . The breakfast was delicious with the best view .

It’s not the first time we are visiting Electra Metropolis hotel. Whenever we or family members are in Athens it is our place to be!

The toilet air vent made a noise non stop it cannot be turned off or on.

The location is very lively at night, which may affect sleep due to crowds and noise. The reception staff were polite but rarely smiled and felt somewhat reserved. The internet connection was slow at times. Otherwise, everything was very good.

The breakfast was very good, rich, and the hotel staff was charming, courteous and provided excellent service. The hotel's location is excellent, central and accessible to everywhere.

The bed pillows were too big and very hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleep, and more than once caused us to wake up in the morning feeling tired.

Great location, between Syntagma and Monastiraki, close to everything. Great design, highly comfortable, everything is shining and sparkling. Great breakfast with variety and quality.
