Location fantastic

Pool area so small very hard to get a sunbed

Everything about the hotel was wonderful! Breakfast is served on the rooftop- the views are beautiful! And after a hot day of sightseeing, the outdoor pool was refreshing!!

We loved the view of the acropolis from the dining area. Best hotel for location and helpful staff. The food was incredible. Highly recommend and we will book again.

The view from the breakfast/restaurant area is absolutely stunning. The restaurant offers some incredible mediterranean food. The massage I got at the spa was stellar. With that, the absolute best thing about this spot is the location. You are in the middle of everything!

The upstairs pool has limited sitting so we ended up not being able to use it.

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating - from before we arrived when I wanted to make sure we'd still have our room when we got to the hotel at 2am, to booking a car service, to amenities, to the front desk staff, the breakfast staff and the roof/pool staff. The location of the hotel was brilliant - easy to walk to all the great bars and restaurants, to the old town and to the Acropolis. And what a view from the roof - absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious and there were so many options. The pool was a great addition, but you do have to get there right when it opens to get a bed as they all go very quickly, albeit people leave/join throughout the day and we were lucky each time, only having to wait a short while to get one. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Athens.

When we arrived, we had a twin room which wasn't what I had booked and because it was 2am in the morning, we couldn't join the beds until the next day. Just a bit annoying for the first night's stay given we were a couple, but all fixed promptly when I called housekeeping when we woke up.

Location, very close to every where. Cleanliness, the room and hotel generally were very clean. The Staff is very helpfull and kind.

Clean and well kept

Internal rooms, the concept of internal (not facing the outside) should not be in such level of hotel accommodation. No shade on the rooftop pool.

The woman who is supposed to ‘welcome’ you at the restaurant/breakfast was very unfriendly and snooty. She made you feel as if she was doing you a favour by taking you to a table. Roof top pool much smaller in real life than photos. Limited sun beds around the pool

We just love staying at Electra Metropolis. It’s a first class hotel in a top location.

Staff was attentive and worked with us on all requests. The cod and the ribeye were excellent.

A couple of the menu items in the restaurant weren't very good, pasta cuttlefish and a slow braised meat.

Both swimming pools are small

Though we stayed 1 night, What I really appreciated about the hotel was how warm and welcoming the staff were. When my son fell ill, they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Athina, the guest relations manager, personally called to check in on us, and the team helped out on arrival. complimentary comfort food was sent to the room for my son. Their kindness made us feel truly cared for and right at home.

Stunning property in an amazing location and central to everything. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sensational. Special shoutout to Dina in the restaurant upstairs, she was awesome!

The location of the hotel is fantastic, a 10 minute walk to the acropolis through lovely streets, but what really gave it the wow factor was the stunning rooftop bar, pool and restaurant area with stunning views of the acropolis. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and it was all amazing. The service was excellent also and the staff attentive and friendly.

Gorgeous views, great restaurant and rooftop pool. Close proximity to places we wanted to go.

Breakfast was good with good service, coffee on time... The hotel is a street from the street shopping center; close from the ancient Agora and the Acropolis. Acropolis view from the breakfast restaurant with terrace possibility; you cannot ask for more in Athens.

Concierge and bellboys are doing deals with taxi drivers on your count. Ask for taxi meter. Also when I asked from the Concierge to keep a suitcase in their luggage room since I was coming back to the hotel for a couple of nights after a few days, he tried to charge me for an outside service.

Great location, friendly staff, amazing rooftop (enjoyed for drinks, delicious breakfast, dinner, & pool!).

Would have preferred more room options for families of 4, aside from having to stay in 2 separate rooms. Although this is not unique to this hotel and the staff did make sure our rooms were next to each other.

Location was very central, walking distance to Plaka, Monastiraki, Syntagma Square and Ermou for shopping. Our room didn't have a view but it was very comfortable. Breakfast was really nice. Amazing rooftop view of the Acropolis.

Cramped pool area and very difficult getting a lounge chair. The drinks on the rooftop were quite expensive compared to the Australian dollar.

The classic interior in the room and the bathtub, the bath robes, the pool service - with the waiter bringing water, the breakfast with pancakes, honey and fresh orange juice and the amazing view of Acropolis.

The pillows in the bed were too big and price was in the high end. As a family we missed a pool table, different games or a shuffle board.

The only complaint I have is that our stay was only 2 nights. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Our experience of having drinks on the rooftop looking at The Acropolis, was a dream and then the next morning to experience that same view in a different light at breakfast was special. We will be back !!
