Hotel Electra Metropolis, Athens

Lovely hotel, super quiet considering it’s location, the soundproofing on the windows was top! Staff were amazing, the breakfast was exceptional and the view from the rooftop restaurant and bar was absolutely fantastic. Would stay there again for sure! Oh and yes it’s expensive but use the spa, the massage was brilliant!

Pillows weren’t the best but I am being seriously nit picky here!

Amazing view, breakfast is takes place on the top floor with a nice terrace, you can get a table outside or inside, the walls are made out of glass so even if you stay inside you can still enjoy the view. The hotel is in a perfect location, we walked to the Acropolis from the hotel. Very nice place.

We got two separate beds moved together even though we wanted one big bed but we didn't complain so it was still good.

The view from the restaurant was stellar! Excellent buffet breakfast. Location was central.. 2 blocks from Syntagma Square where there is a metro station and several Hop-onHop-off bus kiosks. Many restaurants and shops within a few blocks. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was excellent, but most of the staff were not so service minded.

Location was exceptional. Room was first rate and everything you would expect of a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was great and view was amazing. Even got a rainbow on this particular morning with a view of the Acropolis. Added bonus. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The staff is absolutely amazing, the breakfast and view of the Acropolis was fantastic too.

We liked that it was very central and easy to walk to any of the sights and lots of restaurants in any direction. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the view amazing. The pillows were some of the best I’ve experienced at an hotel.

Unfortunately - not the hotel’s fault - but there were bottle banks directly under our windows which made it extremely noisy in the evenings and late into the night when they were being used or emptied. A good pair of ear plugs required!

The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. The bed was also super comfortable. It's also located in walking distance of all the top sights as well as the metro for the airport transfer

Well situated in the Plaka district in Athens, Greece. Walking distance to all the historical sites and museums we came to see. The breakfasts from the 10th floor restaurant with views of the Acropolis were a well added treat.

This hotel came recommended to us by friends and was well worth the stay. Even though we were there during the 2-3 week of October, we would have loved it if they kept the swimming pool on the 10th floor opened longer into the night.

The location was excellent for our Athens trip. We were able to walk to every major historical site on our "must visits list" within 15 minutes. Breakfast views of the Parthenon were a great added bonus.

Maybe the Decor in the rooms is a little dated but I’m an Architect so it’s probably not an issue.

Outstanding room, great bed, sheets and towels. Breakfast choices were excellent. Location is perfect. The roof top bar overlooking the Acropolis is magical.

They put a women on the second floor which needed no passcard security needed to get to her room. This was not a thoughtful assignment. Nor was the garbage cart outside my room appreciated.
