Hotel Electra Metropolis, Athens

The location was good and the hotel is clean. Their service was excellent and super friendly especially Katerina from the concierge she was so helpful, nice and patient with us

This hotel met our specifications for location and comfort. Breakfast was served on the rooftop with good view and good selection was available.

It would be nice to have a bigger pool area and with more shade provided.

My room was a bit noisy

The location of the hotel was excellent. The view at breakfast was amazing. The breakfast selection was varied so everyone had more than one selection they could chose. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

Excellent location. Great view of the acropolis from the rooftop restaurant. Quiet hotel. Walking distance to all sights and fun shopping streets, restaurants, ice cream parlours. Great with children.

Smallish bathrooms. Bedrooms a bit dated. No view from our bedroom at all just the side of another building but this didn't really bother us. Overall was a nice hotel.

Perfect location, the most breathtaking view from the roof garden bar/restaurant and wonderful staff (shout out to the concierge, Angelos, who couldn’t have been more helpful!)

No shade or umbrellas by the pool. Crazy we were unable to relax by the pool without shade in Athens blazing sun and heat. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because it had a pool but disappointed no shade. Breakfast staff inconsistent with service. Had to ask many times for water.

Amazing hotel with wonderful views of Acropolis and the city. It’s situated in the heart of the city. I like everything at this hotel, room, rooftop bar and very delicious breakfast with breathtaking views . The quality of food can compare with Italian hotels, even higher! It was my first time in Athens and enjoyed it!

AC in our room didn’t work properly the first night but they did move us for that night and fixed the AC by the next day.

Dinner in the restaurant is quite pricey , but the food and presentation is good. I suppose as everywhere you pay for the view and area.

Modern hotel in the heart of the action. A short walk to the Plaka and not too far from the Acropolis. Rooftop offers stunning views of Athens. Rooms are super nice and modern. Staff very friendly.

This is a great property with modern amenities and a lot of services making for an overall high class experience. For context, this was our second trip to Athen's, the first being a quick day long visit via a Mediterranean cruise two years ago. This second visit was the third part of our vacation having started with three days in Venice followed by a nine day cruise through Greece, Turkey, Croatia, and Montenegro. We spent 4 days at this property and as it turned out, this Hotel was a perfect staging area for touring the city and the rest of Greece. My wife and I take a major trip every two years and when we plan them, we pay very close attention to customer experience reviews. This hotel came very well recommended and those reviews were spot-on. We chose it for its location at the edge of the Plaka neighborhood, it's modernity, the available pool and spa, and the views from both the 10th floor restaurant and some of the available rooms. The amazing views of the Acropolis will forever be burned in my memory! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room service and early morning checkout experiences were highlights. The property is considered a major hotel so all the private tours we booked through Viator all had convenient pickup in the lobby. We also booked private airport and cruise port transfers directly through the Hotel which was extremely convenient. Don't hesitate to book this hotel as you will not be disappointed!

There was nothing we "didn't like" per se,, but I do have some minor critiques. Some light maintenance needs to be done in spots throughout the hotel. For example, when you went to press a button in the elevator, the whole control panel wanted to pop out of the wall. My wife and I were not partial to the evening restaurant food, thus the room service experience which was very positive. The 10th floor restaurant, while beautiful with tremendous views, got pretty warm what with the Summer heat...time to crank up the AC. We tried to get a full queen sized bed, but wound up settling for the two twins pushed together...common in Europe. We weren't used to this, but we made due, and it turned out to be O.K. As you can see, nothing at all "deal-breaking" here.

The view from the hotel restaurant of the acropolis was fantastic. The hotel was in the centre of Athens which made it easy to get around on foot. The buffet breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. It was well run and the staff were great.
