The entire establishment is well located and provides great amenities for those travelling to Athens on a budget. It is also a very open space where everyone can meet and hang out on the roof. Very young spirited.

The room wasn't small, but the couple's bed had a spring mattress, and it wasn't all that comfortable. Plus, it made a lot of noise. But not the worst. We had previously tried double beds in a room, and it was much more comfortable.

The breakfast was okay, but I thought it was including the price but it wasn’t, I had to pay for it. The manager guy was rude and demand me to pay for it, his approach is very unfriendly.

The manager guy and the bartender manager were also rude. They think I’m a petty, gave them a $20 bill but I was told that this bill was fake and demanding me to pay the loss. I told them it was from YOUR people that gave me the changes when I purchased a shirt nearby. So I paid for it and dump the fake $20 bill because it’s belong to their people of Thessonaiki, Greece, and I walked away. I was turned off.

There is an elevator!

Air conditioner was loud. But there was an air conditioner at the end :) Hard to complain for the price.

- very good location near Monastiraki - the dormitories have (tiny) bathrooms of their own. - they have ladies' dormitories - they have a nice lounge with tables and chairs

- the dormitories are small and cramped with 6 beds - the bathroom is tiny and old - a dustbin in the room would be helpful - the aircondition was set on +19°C (!!!) and apparently could not be changed, so it was either too hot or freezing cold. - they don't have kitchen facilities, not even a fridge. Using their cattle for preparing hot water was a bit of a fight with some of the guards. - The rooftop bar is beautiful, but it had a strange foul smell (stink). Officially, you are not supposed to sit there drinking your own nescoffee. I do not approve this. - Safestay has a strange police about the prices: On a normal weekday, a bed in the dormitory would be 23€ in late September. But on the weekend they charge a mind-boggling 30€! Even when they had a shutdown of the current from 08.00 - 11.00 h, they would not reduce this price. I do not approve this either.

Not the best hostel I've stayed it, but also far from the worst. Location is of course great, 4-people room was pretty good, rooftop bar is very nice.

Only bathroom and shower is in the room, which turned out not to be convenient, especially when someone showers very early or very late. No alternative shower area on the floor - if it's occupied in your room, you have nothing else but wait. No shelf on the upper bed, so nowhere to put your stuff.

Great convienant location, we were only staying for a day to explore Athens in between connecting flights so this was ideal. We booked last minute so only option was the twin bunk bed room which was fine however a very very small room. The air con worked well which was great.

No fridge in the room small minor detail. The overall room was a bit dirty, dust on the skirting and just felt musty.

The location is perfect, just in the center, and it's just a walking distance from most of the historical sites. The view from the top is amazing.

Excellent location, 3 min walk to Monastiraki square and the metro. Great eateries nearby and great facilities available within the property. Value for money.

The only thing I didn’t like was the shower Stall With a simple tool from Amazon the cleaning crew can get rid of the Mold from in between the ceramic tiles It’s call a steamer not expensive But ya the shower in my room was very moldy. A simple fix if the management looks into it

The location was perfect and felt safe going out in the night. The lockers which you can rent hourly was convenient.

The bathroom did not have ventilation and was extremely small. There was no curtains on the shower so the water would come out the shower area to the bathroom as the shower was was less than 30cm away from the toilet face to face.

The rooftop bar bumped my rating up by 2, it was incredible. The view was breathtaking, especially at sunset, the prices at the bar was also very reasonable. The location was also excellent and close to many attractions and good streets.

The rooms were pretty basic and not very comfortable, the bathrooms were small and the shower was not closed in so water would go everywhere in the bathroom. The aircon also didn’t work properly.

Perfect location

Somewhat close to the bus station about 20 min walk. The evening staff were nice, roof top bar but closed pretty early. Bathroom in the rooms.

Morning staff not so nice, could not check in early and check in was at 3pm, beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on! You can feel everything underneath and the pillow was pathetic as it was flat and limp. I couldn't take a proper shower because shower head was broke which makes you get water all over the place, so the floor is always wet. You have a key card to enter your room and one keyboard must be inside the slot for the AC to work.

Nicely located and with good amenities (lockers, laundry room, bar, etc).

Very noisy room as it was facing the main street, no black-outs and quite uncomfortable beds.

- Super central close to touristic sites as well as the rooftops and cool bars - Super cheap - 5min from metro - Rooms only of 4 beds - Open 24/7 - Lockers - Seem to pair you with people of your age (?)

- Breakfast is basic - confort is minimal, which doesn’t bother me because it’s super cheap - too bad there aren’t more events for people to meet : more events organized or WhatsApp groups etc. Because I mainly exchanged with people from my room. And as a solo traveler, you look for connections with other fellow travelers.

Great location for getting around to major sites and public transportation. Close to the Acropolis, lots of restaurants, second hand/vintage shops, and souvenir shops. Amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooftop.

Pretty average in terms of cleanliness and facilities. Not bad, and as expected for a hostel. You also have to pay for towels. But it's €2, so it's not expensive. Also no kitchen access for guests (but they do offer a breakfast for a fee).
