Great location

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and pillows, lovely breakfast with wonderful view of the Acropolis. Very stylish and chic. The staff deserve special mention and were happy to arrange taxis and reservations. All done with ease, minimal fuss and a welcome lack of pretension. Restaurant staff also excellent. Room service was good and the pizzas and salads offered were modern eating as described and an easy option when feeling too tired to leave the room!

Liked just about everything but one thing that could be improved is the lighting, especially in the bathroom. Not much space for personal toiletries in the bathroom either. A bit “style over function”. There is a lift but you need to go up some stairs to reach it and to get to the restaurant, so not so great if you have mobility issues. But I’m nitpicking here…

The location and the quiet room and the comfortable bed.

Very small room. Only view is from the rooftop. Room service food is terrible.

Ideally situated to be close to shopping sightseeing and wandering the streets and the restaurant called senses, on top magnificent views of the acropolis and was truly wonderful gastro experience.

Location is unbeatable & views from rooftop restaurant will always stay memorable for us. The staff were fantastic & elevated a great hotel to exceptional status. The rooftop restaurant provided a superior experience with its degustation menu & reflects the Michelin awards it received. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location near sights and restaurants on a pedestrian street was ideal. The rooms were very comfortable and oasis from the heat and bustle outside. The rooftop breakfast room is fantastic. The staff is professional and ready to help at all times.

Perfect location- 2-3min from Acropolis and Plata Hospitality of crew is amazing! Outstanding and helpful, profesional and warm Clean rooms. We even had our room made in the evening after checking in ( it was nice to have fresh set of towels, after we All took a shower the day we arrived. We were sailing and were exsausted. If the kid’s life jacket gave it away it means, the stuff is very attendif) Magnificent breakfast with a direct view on Acropolis

Bar area could be better

The central location in a pedestrianised street close to shops, bars and restaurants . The Reception staff and luggage handlers were very friendly and helpful.

Some of the breakfast staff were inefficient and surly. Not all items on menu were available. Also the bar is not open all day and evening to hotel guests. It used to close at 7pm just as you want a drink before going out to dinner. Also Sesnse only serves Tasting menus, not al la carte and they don't cater for dairy free people . For these reasons it is definately not a 5 star hotel which they claim to be.. Our friends stayed in room 403 and they reported that the air con didn't work but it did but turned out to be inadequate for the size of room. They were moved to 101 where it did keep the room cool. As they were checking out so were the new guests in a 403. They reported same problem and Reception acted as though they knew nothing about the problem.......

Rooms a little small and view for rooms at the back of the hotel are not great. Just locals flats and balconies. But what you might expect from such a central location.

Hotel was located in an excellent position for exploring Athens. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with fantastic views of the Acropolis. The rooms were spacious and cleaned to an exceedingly high standard.

Our first room was beautiful,very comfortable with two bathrooms,very clean(two tomes a day they came in to clean),with all the facility’s you need. For our last night we moved to another room with a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We ate dinner at SENSE restaurant and it was a very very good one. Breakfast is rich and tasty. The location is gorgeous at the centre of everything. We had a great great time and if we will go back to Athens one day it will for sure to AthensWas hotel. Thank you🌸

Location was really good and the staff was super friendly, they gave us really good reccomendations. Margarita helped us with every request we had and breakfast with the view was the best way to start our day

Fabulous location close to the Acropolis, with a good view from the balcony of our fifth floor room and the sixth floor Sense Restaurant. Super and helpful staff throughout our three night stay. Excellent breakfast. Extremely comfortable extra large bed. Large en suite bathroom with large shower.

Slow elevator

Amazing direct view on Acropolis from our Hellenic suite, large terrace, supreme location, fantastic ambient. Breakfast very rich. The suite very clean, comfort, large, exceeded our expectations. And the staff especially friendly, helpful, kind and expert. Everything is perfect. Be back again for sure.

We were returning to the hotel for the 4th time, so we know it well. It is in an excellent location and the facilities are great. The view from the breakfast room is amazing. Rooms are very comfy and well equipped and the beds are especially comfortable.

The bathroom was fine with a fabulous shower but I would have liked more places to hang my towels.

Wonderful property and perfect location. Enjoyed our stay as it was in the best location- close to shopping and restaurants.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to almost all sightseeing places. Very good breakfast with Akropolis view. Comfy bed. Modern design. Clean. For two-three days the size of the room is ok, but no longer.

The a la carte breakfast is amazing, very good quality, so many options to choose from, unbelievable view to the Acropolis. The size of the rooms is just fine. The staff though, they are so kind and so friendly and always smiling , they really make your day, rarely you find this kind of people.

Great location and service. Senses restaurant is worth a visit.

Location is perfect. Centrally located for exploring Athens. Plaka is just steps away, the pedestrian street is 1 block over. Excellent restaurants right on the corner of where the hotel is. There was no view from the room but the restaurant view is superb. The food at the included breakfast was out of this world. The staff was accommodating, attentive, and helpful.

Rooms a bit small, no car park

Location is closet to Acropolis, Acropolis museum and surrounding area is safe with many good restaurants. Our room (and) veranda had a great view of the Acropolis.

Lighting was an issue, only because it was confusing. Could have been explained better.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive to every need! The breakfasts were fantastic ( ate way too much) and the location was convenient to Metro, shops, restaurants, museums, and best of all the Acropolis!!!
