Les Bords De Mer, Marseille

The staff were really nice. The view was stunning.

The air conditioning didn’t work, they tried to fix it. In the end we left early & they agreed to refund us for two nights. The pool was small, hard to get into & wasn’t clean. There was no English tv channels

two hours before checking in for a reservation MADE JANUARY 10, I was informed that my room was cancelled, so I never got to stay in Les Bords De mer. I felt this was inexcusable--someone who booked later should have been bounced, not me.

They could have HELPD my reservation, made 7+ months in advance.

Noisy outside by the sea. Room was quite small for the price. Swimming pool was out of action and had been for a while. No comfortable bar area

The property faces the sea and is in a great part of town.

The hotel is right by the ocean, with abundant natural light, breeze, and sound of the waves lapping. It is bright and uplifting. The restaurant there, though small, has an interesting menu of seafood with asian flavours. On top, the location is great. we will be back!

the rooms are on the small side but the bathrooms are generous, which works for me!

The rooms are on the small side...but the bonus balcony and windows to the sea make up for that in a big way. The front staff is friendly and helpful and will accommodate your wish to speak French or English.

We were sorry the rooftop bar remained closed during our stay along with the outdoor pool. This was all weather related of course but I was under the impression the pool would be ready for the season. (Thankfully I inquired about swimming and was informed (by the front desk) that the CNM pool nearby was available for me to use and was given a voucher...so glad that I asked!)

We loved the location and restaurant with excellent food and wine. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, we also had fantastic massages.

The room was very small with an odd, triangular shape, meaning we had to squeeze past the corner of the bed to get from one side of the room to the other. The other thing was that there were no surfaces to put things on. It's also a bit noisy, but ok with ear plugs.

Beautiful sea views. Amazing breakfast. Wonderful fully opening windows! Some helpful and nice staff too.

Wifi didn't work and nor did our shower! The sheets were of a mediocre quality too. There was limited closet space. Given the price per night, these were all problems.

The room was beautiful. Staff were courteous and always helpful. Good regardless of the meal was delicious.

The view of the rooms with balcony was amazing.

The bathroom was very small and it did not have any space to put stuff like deodarants or necessaire. The bathroom and toilets were separate, which was not convenient. It was not possible to control the air condition from the room itself. We always had to call the reception to adjust the temperature of our room. The stuff always responded our requests as “We will check and get back to you” but they always forgot us and never gave feedback. In the end, it was definitely not worth the money.

Fantastic location especially when you like beach and swimming in a crystal clear sea. Great clean and new room with superb view on the Mediterranean.

The view from the room is amazing, and the location is very handy for the short bus ride into the centre of town. A clean and tidy beach, Plage de Catalans, is a five minute walk away.

The size of the room is rather small, and for €400 we were expecting a little more in terms of space and décor - essentially you are paying a premium for the view
