Staff often confused, impossible to get pool chairs unless you are there at 8am, the 15 min policy for pool chairs is ridiculous, food options are limited, no real vibe, rooms small for the price.

That it’s new

Rooms and bathrooms are too small. The service was not good. There was no room service.

From the moment we stepped into the beautiful hotel till the last day we were greeted by the kindest people and taken care of. Everything in the hotel is outstanding and so thoughtfully designed. The pool is SO pretty and the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The beach chairs were wonderful, every single day we would go out to the beach for the first half of the day and end by the pool. It was great. And the rooms were so sleek and comfortable, we'll definitely be visiting again.

There was only one small hiccup while we stayed around the pool getting some work done -- it was communicated to us the day before it happened which was helpful but a bummer nontheless. When we stayed the hotel had only been open for a few weeks so we understand they're still getting everything ironed out. We shared our feedback with the staff and they went above and beyond to take care of us. While the pool being out of commission for an evening wasn't ideal, the way the team handled it was out of this world and makes me only want to go back to the Shelborne for all my future Miami visits.

I LOVED everything! I've always been drawn to mid-beach, and the hotel was absolutely perfect - cozy and scenic room, tasty and healthy food, chill bar and pool vibes, and the staff was absolutely LOVELY.

There were some minor issues with one of the elevators not working, but it didn't ruin my overall experience.

Charged twice for my stay and charged two deposits / holds of $400 each. The desk staff seemed to find this hilarious; this is a new hotel, not an established one so as a tourist the fact it could be a scam was all I could think. Luckily I have bank alerts each time a payment is made so I was aware. I was so afraid of any more money being taken from me by the hotel that I paid for my dinner in the hotel directly instead of having it charged to my room. The double stay charge was returned. But to date, despite multiple attempts to contact the hotel, they have still not returned my deposit / hold. I’ve contacted my bank who say they are waiting for the hotel to agree to release the money. So much stress that completely ruined a spontaneous weekend trip to Miami!
