Chopin Boutique B&B, Warsaw

Everything was the most wonderful experience!! The room!!!! The hotel!!! Just fantastic, and the staff, especially Allan was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also great, and the coffee is the best since I’ve left Australia!!! The Chopin Concert was an added bonus!!!

Nice hotel, delicious breakfast and good location!

Interesting to be surrounded by Chopin music. Rooms were designated by artist names with info about the artist in each room. Walkable from train station. Staff was extremely helpful about public transportation.

Elevator was not available when I departed. Lights, video equipment was being moved in. That could have been done before 7 am instead of after when people needed the elevator for breakfast or departure.

A charming quiet corner in a busy city. Facilities were very good indeed.

A very unique, boutique, bed-and-breakfast. Located within walking distance of many attractions in Warsaw.

Room temperature was a little hard to control.

The atmosphere, well designed interior, very friendly personal, saloon with grand piano, scenic view from the rooftop.

I wanted a room with piano and thought I booked a room with the one. But I was unlucky. It's better to have a separate category saying "room_type with piano" instead of having just "room_type" in order to avoid false expectations. And the blanket was too small — I couldn’t wrap myself properly and kept sliding out of it at night. It would be great to have a bigger one. But it wasn't critical)

The decor. It’s beautiful and full of character. Each room is different. Hidden secret bathroom!

Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel offers a wonderful experience beyond your average hotel stay. The vintage furniture, the building itself, the Chopin concerts every evening is a great way to feel the true spirit of Warsaw. The location is excellent, close to Krakowskie Przedmieście which is quite lively, but at the same time quiet and peaceful.

The bed could be a little better, maybe change of mattress would help.

The hotel's aesthetic is truly its highlight. I absolutely loved the charming mid-century interior design, it felt stylish, warm, and unique. The room was fully stocked with all the necessities: an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, a kettle, and a coffee maker. Having these essentials made my stay incredibly convenient. The location is fantastic. Being right in the city center made it super easy to walk everywhere and explore. A huge shoutout must go to the staff; the personnel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze.

Unfortunately, the noise insulation was poor. I could clearly hear almost every sound and conversation from the corridor, which occasionally disrupted my sleep.

I enjoyed my stay in a traditional house setting. It put me in a different world, Poland! They care about food: organic, free range chicken eggs, great honey, etc. Very good quality nice food with a variety and great bread! I wished that I had time for a piano mini concert. It started at 7 and it was hard to make it to come back without supper. Great location, close to main points by walking, but not too busy.

Excellent location. Hotel has a lot of character and warmth. Loved the nightly Chopin concerts. Kitchen staff was welcoming.

The room is an absolute gem. So thoughtfully and tastefully furnished with classic/antique furniture - and huge by hotel room standards.

This is a period property converted into a hotel it has great character with a courtyard for eating outdoors and very helpful staff. There are Chopin piano recitals every evening and they roast their own coffee

Nothing notable to dislike

This wonderful place came highly recommended by Rick Steves. Location was perfect for exploring Warsaw on foot or catching a bus to Lazienki Park, other destinations or going to the airport. Our room was spacious and comfortable, full of light and we enjoyed having open windows at night. Breakfast was varied and delicious; ladies working in the kitchen spoke Polish, English, Russian and Ukrainian. They were patiently amazing as they prepared eggs multiple times for an elderly gent who wanted to replicate his childhood memories; God knows what he wanted:) We looked forward to nightly concerts in the Chopin Salon, “ an evening of beautiful music, wine, and cheese hosted by Jarek Cholodecki, who runs the recommended Boutique B&B. Each evening, a small group of locals and travelers gather around Jarek’s big, shiny Steinway grand to hear great music performed by talented young artists in a great city”(Rick Steves). Sorry to say, we were always out till late catching up with Warsaw friends and never made it .

Our stay in Warsaw was too short, so we missed a nightly musical recital in the Chopin Salon. Look forward to coming back.

I had a noisy room.

An excellent location in the city center, close to the river and neighborhoods of small shops and bars, on a quiet side street. Beautiful facilities, kind and attentive staff, and an excellent breakfast in house. Truly one of the nicest boutique hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommended.

The staff is wonderful; friendly and kind. The rooms are comfortable and really cute - the whole place has a such great character. And they have a free Chopin recital in the lobby that's just so magical. It's really a great place. This is my second time staying there (3 or 4 nights each time) and it's my favorite hotel in Warsaw. Also it's a great walking location to most of the city.

I like the facilities and the location.

This hotel is really quirky and fun! The decor is all vintage - maybe 1930’s. I felt as if I stepped into a Woody Allen movie! The on site restaurant offered delicious authentic Polish delicacies. I really enjoyed the Chopin concert in the salon. Loved that the rooms have names rather than numbers and that the rooms have a written explanation of the spirit that inspired the room. Loved the art all over the hotel and especially in the room.

This was a uniquely quirky place to stay. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff including the owners themselves. The use of interesting old pieces of furniture and locally sourced food ingredients was part of the homely atmosphere. The nightly Chopin recital was like listening to a very talented friend in someone's lounge room!

I love classical music and Techno. And for both this hotel is ideal. They have lovely Chopin concerts every evening and with Luzztro there is the premier Techno club of Warsaw right around the corner with a cool diverse crowd. Breakfast is also excellent and the Aircon comes in handy in summer. Location couldn't be better.

Just a detail but the iron they had didn't have steam.

Not the standard, run of the mill design and decor found in so many hotels. I loved it! Could often hear beautiful piano musić being played in the background but was not intrusive. Comfortable bed and everything I expected and required for my two night stay. All the staff I came across were absolutely delightful. They clearly have a passion for their work and for the Chopin Hotel, a real credit to Warsaw. Oh and a delicious breakfast!

Next time I will book a Lower floor so that I don’t have to use the lift (its small!)

The hotel, the Chopin show at the Salon and the 2 knowledgeable and super friendly owners (Yari & Richard) of the hotel who made it a point to interact with their guests and make them feel extremely welcomed. Such a beautiful place to visit

If you want not just visit Warsaw, but make a time travel - it’s a must to stay in Chopin Boutique. It’s a completely special place , where music, art and history surround you all the time. Here it’s no more feeling of 21 century, it’s a feeling of Chopin times. All furniture, accessories, even small things in this hotel make u feel a time traveler. By evenings - wonderful Chopin concerts with candle light. Hotel offers a tasty bio breakfast and during a day they offer a traditional polish menu. Borsch here is incredibly tasting, as well as herring with onion and oil. Chopin Boutique is located in the center of Warsaw, in surrounding of one of the main streets with lots of restaurants, shops and attractions. Absolutely best place to feel Warsaw.

Great place, short walk to transit station, 2 stops to east train station we arrived/left from. 24 hour reception, fridge, AC, grocery store across the street. Plenty of space, we were upgraded upon arrival. Elevator is small but works fine, good for upper floors. Didn't have breakfast so can't rate that.

I really love this place, not only it has a great concept it also has charm. I like the rooms and the restaurant as well. Everything is clean and tidy, staff is nice. I wasn’t able to enjoy the concert but I think it’s amazing there’s one every single day. I would love to hear it next time.

I stayed in Chopin twice in different rooms and in both instances the bathroom’s vent was full of dust on the outside. That, and perhaps the mattress softness was a bit more than I would like. Other than that all was perfect!

Excellent, local products, from local farms, real food, their own brand of coffee, which they roast. Very friendly staff, genuine Old world environment. No false pretenses whatsoever.

For this type of property, nothing. They cannot build a swimming pool or a gym. This is not a standard hotel, and it is very good for what it claims to be.

Staffs are all very kind. The location was also good to go to important places. Also this hotel has a Chopin concert every evening.

Great location, very nice and helpful staff decent breakfast

The hotel is excellent. Great staff, location and the rooms are very very clean. We loved the antique furniture which gives the room an arty feel which I feel lack in many hotels in this day and age. Great choice and would defintely book again without hesitation.

Old school ,nostalgic style hotel with its own story. Breakfast is of high quality and tasty especially the grounded coffee which made on the spot. Very friendly staffs and owner.

Room furnitures are indeed genuinely“old”with the bed making squeaking sound, mattress too soft feel like sinking , stained cushion chairs. The suite we stayed came with a portable ac in the living room which cannot be moved to bedroom, will be a problem in hot summer days though they put 2 fans in the bedroom. Portable ac also is very noisy😨. Also suggest to put an anti-slippery mat in the shower area.

Location,about 250 metres from train station.Close to restaurants,bars etc….Breakfast very good,staff helpful.Shower was excellent and having a bath was a bonus.

Some Furniture was a little uncomfortable.

This hotel was unique and charming in its traditional appearance, giving pride of place to piano music. I was able to meet welcoming and helpful staff. After long days, I was happy to be able to eat at their restaurant, which offered a decent menu and delicious dishes. The room was like a small apartment for me, which made me completely forget my everyday life. The icing on the cake: I attended a Chopin concert by a pianist who was celebrating her birthday; the moment offered a magical setting. Thank you! I will miss the little melody at the door.

A few guests were noisy during my stay. The bathroom lacked a little space, especially for hanging things. I feel like the neighbors across the street could see into my room. Breakfast was mostly savory, even though I have a sweet tooth: I would have appreciated more products.

Huge apartment with tons of space for 2 couples. Loved the piano recital. Very convenient to museum, a couple blocks to walk to dining.

The room was great, but the best thing about the hotel was the nightly Chopin salon concerts. They were amazing!

Atmosphere, hospitality, vintage elevator, idea for each room, food quality, large room, silent air conditioner.

The scrambled eggs were kept in a bain-marie, so after a while they turned cold. It would be a good idea to prepare them to order instead.
