Hotel B stands as a striking white mansion, epitomizing the Belle Époque era. Crafted in 1914 by esteemed French architect Claude Sahut, this grand structure served as the summer getaway for former president Augusto Leguia throughout much of the 1920s.
Behind its grand exterior lies an opulent interior featuring lofty ceilings, Italian marble elements, and a splendid living area lit by vintage chandeliers. The guest rooms, distributed across the historic mansion and the newly added three-story extension, fall into three distinct categories.
The “Atelier” rooms, boasting eye-catching dark-wood fixtures, freestanding tubs, and secluded balconies overlooking the courtyard, are deemed the most lavish.
Even the basic rooms exude a romantic, slightly indulgent atmosphere. Furnished with charming 1920s pieces, captivating artwork, and vintage suitcases here and aged maps in glass frames there, these spaces evoke memories of a more glamorous travel era.
