Billini Hotel, Santo Domingo

Several churches close by to attent christmas services. Coffee shop with good coffee and pastries next door also open on December 24&25th. Hotel was convenient located, walking distance to the colonial centre. Jacuzzi outside our room was awesome. Front desk staff was very helpful with advice about excursions, places to visit etc.

Christmas eve diner was served by the rooftop bar/ restaurants, no lights, no candles, no table decoration. The server did not offer water, wine, coffee or thee and were not available to ask for something to drink. The hotel was short on Handtowels apparently. No bathroomfloormats. The towelrack was loose and was not fixed during our stay. The electricity cord of the coffeemaker was dangerously damaged. Streaming via television did not work most of the time. Curtains and wires of lamps in the room full of dust. The bedside lamps were like desk lamps fixed to the wall, not staying in desired position.

This is a very convenient hotel, very nicely decorated, and well-maintained, in line with the colonial area where it is located at. The location is just perfect, close to good restaurants, museums, parks. The staff is friendly and helpful, waiters were very polite. Everything seems to be safe, including the neighborhood. The room was nice and comfortable.

Next to my room there were people walking and making noise (inside the property), you could see their shapes through the blinds... that made the atmosphere less private. The phone was not working so when I needed a razor I had to go downstairs to ask for it. The toilet flush was working a bit weird, making excessive noise.

The location was excellent! The hotel itself was spectacular. It was clean, the air conditioning was great, all services were fast and friendly. The staff was very courteous and spoke English (a big help)! The breakfast was varied and quick. The veranda in the room was private and a pleasure to sit out there at night. I felt safe there, even sitting in the outside dining area at night. Bravo, Billini Hotel!

The towel bar in the shower fell off, and the shower was hard to regulate as far as hot water. But overall, it was fantastic!

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. They set up with a room last minute and greeted us with free mimosas which were extremely welcomed because we had such a long day. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the rooftop pool is awesome❤️

Pet friendly to my Yorkies. It’s spacious and feels like a private resort. Excellent customer service and great food! Especially the breakfast buffet!

Disappointing Experience at Billini Hotel. I recently stayed at Billini Hotel and was extremely disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the air conditioning in my room was not working, which made it impossible to get a good night's sleep in the sweltering heat. To make matters worse, there was constant noise from outside that kept me awake throughout the night. I had specifically paid for a room with a terrace, but upon arrival, I was given a room without one. This was very frustrating as the terrace was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Additionally, everything in the room looked cheap and outdated, which was unacceptable given the high price we paid for our stay. The breakfast was another letdown. The quality of the food was poor, and there were very limited options available. It certainly did not live up to the standards I expect from a hotel of this supposed caliber. I was not the only guest experiencing issues. Upon arrival, there was another guest in the lobby who was visibly uncomfortable and voicing the same complaints. Overall, my stay at Billini Hotel was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice boutique hotel in a historic building in a great location. Staff was very friendly, place was clean, and breakfast was ok. There is an outdoor sitting area on the first floor and a rooftop pool and bar.

Some rooms are a little smaller than they appear but over all the beds are very comfortable.

Pool closes at 5pm. We spent a lot of time working out how to turn on and off lights and fans. The shower took forever to warm up and figure out. The rooms were nice, but definitely not worth the money.

Luis, Vladimir and Leonel are exceptional customer associates. They made me feel very welcomed. Luis facilitated a smooth registration was extremely professional and took the time to ensure my needs were met.

It’s not a dislike but more if a suggestion to offer better rates for diplomatic travelers or promotion codes for business

Had a bad egg one morning, upset stomach, food in restaurant seemed a bit pricey compared to other places for what I got, but was good.

Staff was very kind and helpful.

Second time staying at the hotel. Loved this room/experience more than the last. I will most likely become a regular here.

the AC wasn’t working well, I arrived at 10pm and had to leave at 5AM, it was too hot and around 12AM some other guests were making so much noise, couldn’t sleep at all.
