Our family of 4 stayed in their suite that offers a bedroom, room with pullout that doubles as a 2nd bedroom, bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub/shower, separate toilet room, walk in closet, and 2 balconies (one with 2 tables/chairs and the other with 2 padded chaise lounge). The views are every bit as spectacular as they look.. just stunning! Could have happily sat out there for hours. You can hear the soothing sound of the waves on the rocky beach when the doors are open. For a sandy beach, we could uber to the nearby gorgeous town of “Ville -France Sur Mer”. Lots of nearby restaurants, shops and markets within easy walk of the hotel. The steps/lift to the castle viewpoints are right outside the door. All along the shoreline is a large pedestrian promenade and biking paths. Airport is an easy 20 min drive along the shoreline. Train station is abt 25 min walk (where you can easily hop over to Monaco for the day). Bed was comfortable (tho firm). Bath robes and slippers were provided. Staff were helpful with arranging transportation and suggesting restaurants. Daily housekeeping and plenty of towels. We were exceedingly happy with our room choice and are already dreaming of a return visit!

Some nights there was a bit of street noise so a travel fan was helpful. The extra rollaway bed we added on was flimsy but sufficed. The 2 small minibar fridges were filled with items, and one did not get very cold… so not much space for food. Suite was pricey (but worth it!)

Superb location. Wonderful breakfast. Effortlessly elegant. We had a sea view so were lulled off to sleep with the sound of the waves and woke to stunning views from the balcony.

It met our needs perfectly.

This is the second time I have stayed at Hotel Suisse and I am confident that this is one of the best places to choose for a trip to Nice. The view from the room is stunning, the bed is comfortable, the service is amazing. I am beyond satisfied with my experience here.

Perfect location and view. Location: it’s close to the city centre & the old town, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc.; the Nice harbor is within 15 minutes walk; and the sea is in front. The view: recommend you to book a room with a sea view. It’s amazing! Breakfast: it’s was middle, but with sea view! Staff: polite & helpful.

The room is tiny, the hotel is old. All the rest was good.

I’ve been here before .. A few times . I love it ..ihave an appartement in nice . But always spend time at the hôtel suisse .. beautiful views .. lovely staff ..can’t wait to come back .. my favourite hotel .. thank you …xxx

Staff and location

Jan 2025: hotel is under renovation. They do a nice job of managing with occupancy (i.e. our room did not have scaffolding outside, and noise while we were in the hotel was minimal), but it was enough to expect that they wouldnt be charging full rates. Other than that, we loved everything but the shower, and the pillows.

The room was clean, and the views were spectacular.

There was not anything that we could find fault with.

I found that the hotel selling no food more than usual and cannot understand why this is so . Not just the guests being unable to order but too, the hotel seeks no financial benefits to top line revenues have a restutant available, the only room I saw I was informed it’s for breakfast only? Makes no sence . The view from my room was sensational . Robert

Location was the best and the view was spectacular. I have to mention some exceptional employees: Kirill and Jennifer from the front desk are very kind, knowledgeable and patient. Also, Lulzim from the maintenance was always ready to take care of any issue small or big immediately. Migena from the kitchen was outstanding at serving people and meeting their needs. The room cleaning crew was excellent as well. We were happy with our stay and we hope to go back again.

On the sea front. I had a sea view. Very close to the Old Town. Helpful staff

Loved the view!!! It was so beautiful, it made the stay! The bed was pretty comfy too. The breakfast was nice. Lastly the hotel staff were friendly

Very minor thing - it would be good to have a Google chrome so that guest are able to watch Netflix at night but honestly it doesn’t impact the stay.

Great location. Close to the old town and views right along the sea front . Also a short walk to the marina . The markets nearby are fab. The staff are very good and excellent breakfast

The breakfast service was disorganised and very ‘Fawlty Towers’ but we did receive profuse apologies for the confusion and delays in the service provided.

Perfect location, second time there and always a pleasant stay

The location was excellent, adjacent to the old town, the hill and the beach. Balcony was big enough for 2 to eat on. Breakfast was a buffet, not very big, but every item on it was good quality. The breakfast staff were attentive and polite.

The room was small, given its price. Furniture in the room was basic. It felt like a 3 star in that respect.

Everything was just perfect even more than perfect, checking in, cleanliness, location and family friendly environment!

We loved this hotel. The view was exactly as shown on the website, which was amazing. The room was nice and a good size and there was a great little patio. The front desk attendants were helpful and kind. The location was absolutely perfect! There was no parking at the hotel, but they did have a couple of temporary parking spots for you to load and unload luggage, which was convenient.

It was very difficult to take a shower without drenching the floor in water. Also, at first we were only provided with one bath towel, no hand towels and no floor mat, so we didn't have a good way to mop up all of the water on the floor.

The location and balcony was fab for watching the Tour de France which is why we were there

The bed is not a single big bed, it is combined with two beds and me and my kid keep fall into the gap of the beds. Second the hotel floor not clean and quit old to be honest.

We love how close was to the ocean

all rooms with excellent view on the Promenade and the panorama of Nice - location very close to the old town and short walking distance (1 km) to the tram going directly to the airport

Staff was exceptionally responsive to enquiries and requests.

Only hotel in recent memory that did not provide bottled water as a standard feature. If you wanted bottled water, you had to go to a local store and buy your own or overpay for it from the mini bar. Not a big deal, just out of the ordinary.

The location is perfect! Once we arrived early in the morning, we checked in and checked our bags with the hotel because our room was not ready. We walked over to the beach and then to the cutest market. We were called about our room being ready and headed over. We could walk to dinner every night and to beach clubs during the day. The beds were comfortable, but the coffee machine didn't always work. The hotel was having construction done, it didn't destub me because I don't sleep in but I could see that being an issue with some people.

The coffee machine didn't always work, and the shower wall (glass) wasn't fully attached, and I was worried I'd break it more. The room didn't have much room to store our clothing, as we were on a very long trip; we had four bags. And I believe the A/C only works at night.

Perfect location for Old Town and views across the bay. Comfortable stay and everything we needed.

Loction was great, near to Restaurants, Shops and the Beach.

The room we were given was alot smallet than we expected. A room with a sea view was booked however a massive tree facing the property obscured the view. Felt uncomfortable with a member of hotel staff knocking on the door early in the evening everyday giving us chocolates, this would have been kind if they had just not walked in after first knock.
