Comfy bed and pillow, room is superb clean, the staff were extra attentive with my check-in as I was on wheelchair recovering from knee surgery, very welcoming and the food spread was crazy delicious!

The rooms were very spacious. The housekeeping staff were excellent & cleaned the room beautifully. They would check later in the day to ensure we didn’t need anything. All the staff we encountered were very attentive, friendly & welcoming. Win in particular was a standout in terms of his care & professionalism. He made us feel very special guests which was really nice.

We were very cold the first night whilst having dinner in the restaurant. It spoilt our meal to a degree. The AC was far too low. The water in the bathtub wasn’t hot enough To enjoy a bath & the TV maximum volume was too low.

hotel just opposite and near the train station but not many people and tourist used the train services interconnection between another town/States to the city center and the hotel

It brings me childhood memories of my 1st hotel visit. Front office team are very warm and professional. Even that time is a heavy check in, rooms are due, they still struggle to please us to max. Polite words and sincerity. Keep it up 👏👏👏 Breakfast buffet was awesome! Taste all good. If the bread selection was Artisan would be perfect !

Food and Beverage staff not warm at all. Straight faces. Most are foreigners to be specific Bangladeshi. Management have to train them how important guest relations are. I complained about complimentary juces that tasted very weird near to spoil. The staff noted but never change the drinks. Suspected the juice is balance from breakfast bring foward to evening complimentary drink. Please do something! Kitchen team, please smile and try your best to create or maintain guest relation. Its very important, and it's part of our job. Im working in same industry for 13years so you know what I mean.

I love how spacious the room and the service provided by the staffs. I love that i can order fresh coffee with varieties of syrup during breakfast.

I went to have breakfast at 8.30am but some of the food was already finished and took a bit of time to replenish.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The facilities provided were complete and everything worked well. The stay was pleasant and the atmosphere was relaxing. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Price paid 3 pax in a room is very good thru booking dot com here. Breakfast good but not fantastic variety breakfast compared to some 4stars international hotel.

Far walking to train station LRT station because of bridge crossing not straight direction so walking steps are more than 400m away.

Excellent facilities, location, and friendly and professional staff. Large, well appointed room with a large bathroom and a lovely view. Good location close to the central station. Although expensive by regional standards, offers fair value for money in my view.

Small gripes - i wish they would do away with the colonial uniforms which are out of place in 2026; when I left there was a very, very long queue of people waiting to check in (this did not affect me), the downstairs restaurant is buffet only and will not allow you to sit and have a coffee, which I found odd.

I always enjoy my stay here. The ambience, the comfort, the old charm. Had a nice time enjoying the pool in front of the spa centre.

It's not so much about what i dislike but more of a suggestion if they could revive back the choice of tea in the hi-tea set. This is the significant change I've observed whereby they only offer either coffee or black tea. No choice of tea for pick.

The breakfast and dinner package was exceptional value and made for an extremely relaxing week at the hotel. The staff are so welcoming and attentive and the choice of food at both breakfast and dinner was wonderful.

Biased view after visiting here for 10+ years ... I'd not go anywhere else in KL because the team at The Majestic just get it right. Nothing is too much trouble but equally, if I want to carry my own bag, that's fine too! From the first welcome from Kumar in the foyer, it's a bit of a home-from-home when in KL. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and with some great views and lots of light. I know that others might have other location priorities, but for me, it's perfect - I can jog in the Botanical Gardens very close by, and walk to KL Sentral or Chinatown if the mood takes me! I normally try to avoid the big chain hotels (this is Marriott) but continue to make a very happy exception here.

I know that it's called "The Smokehouse", and I respect others' pleasure at enjoying a cigar, but it's 2026 and passive smoking is avoided by most people. Could there be an area where we could enjoy the surroundings, the drinks and the great staff but without the smoke?

This hotel is very special. Extremely, well trained staff are very accommodating. Location good to get around KL and a yummy breakfast is also on offer.

Beautiful hotel . Lovely high tea

Lovely old world hotel with all the modern luxuries. The buffet breakfast is outstanding and one of the biggest selections for all nationalities. The breakfast restaurant is really big, but has been fashioned around two large buffet areas plus a drinks station making it feel cosy. They have also managed the age old problem of open restaurants and that's acoustics. No, loud talking, in your face noise. A pleasant, delightful experience. Our room was a twin, with two oversized 'twins' full free standing bath, two sinks a shower and toilet, two large lounging chairs and coffee table and a view of more stunning heritage buildings. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and caring and it's a no hesitation for a further stay. The museum is a very short walk from the hotel which is a hop on hop off bus stop.

To be extremely picky, the roof top garden needed some TLC

I like the Majestic Hotel KL for its elegant colonial charm, luxurious rooms, and exceptional service. The atmosphere feels refined yet comfortable, with beautiful interiors and a relaxing ambiance. Its central location, delicious dining options, and attention to detail make every stay memorable and enjoyable, whether for leisure or business travel.

Some of the workers were not very friendly or welcoming. It felt like they were not putting in as much effort to assist guests, which slightly affected the overall experience despite the hotel’s otherwise beautiful setting.

Staff are excellent in the restaurant. Helpful and attentive. Extra mile effort for sure. Rasel noticed kids wanted hot chocolate but they were out of stock so he got some on our last night from the other restaurant. Remembered names. Ika helped make celebration pancakes I requested shape for husbands bday.

Pool is too deep for kids - no shallow end.
