The Ramble Hotel, Denver
Opened in 2018 as the very first hotel in Denver’s bustling River North Art District (RiNo), The Ramble Hotel is a masterclass in industrial elegance. Developed by local urban pioneer Ryan Diggins and designed alongside Avenue Interior Design and Johnson Nathan Strohe, the brick-and-timber property balances Denver’s rugged factory history with high-end luxury. Diggins deliberately avoided a hollow modern aesthetic, opting instead for hand-cut bricks laid by multi-generational masons to give the exterior an authentic, 100-year-old feel.
The building’s grand, high-ceilinged lobby takes its structural inspiration directly from 17th-century Parisian salons. In fact, the hotel’s name honors Catherine de Vivonne, the Marquise de Rambouillet, who famously hosted egalitarian societal gatherings in France. True to that history, the public spaces are built to spark conversation, juxtaposing raw concrete columns and steel-framed factory windows with plush velvet couches and opulent, custom-made crystal chandeliers.
The hotel’s crown jewel is its lobby bar, which famously serves as the first-ever expansion of New York City’s legendary cocktail institution, Death & Co. Transforming the space from morning coffee hub to moody evening lounge required brilliant engineering. Designers installed massive, 12-foot-tall custom steel panels filled with chicken-wire glass salvaged from New York’s iconic Rockefeller Center; the panels slide across floor tracks at sunset to seamlessly hide the daytime cafe equipment.
The attention to detail extends into the 50 residential-style guest rooms, which feature wide-plank hickory floors, antique Persian rugs, and custom steel furniture built by neighborhood craftsmen. Instead of electronic key cards, guests are handed real brass keys housed in custom leather pouches stamped by local artisans. For a breath of fresh air, the floor-to-ceiling warehouse windows actually open, allowing guests to hear the neighborhood bustle and catch the aromas of local kitchens below.
Stepping outside puts you right in the creative center of Denver. The surrounding blocks are packed with over a dozen craft breweries, independent art galleries, and the bustling Denver Central Market. Sports fans can take a quick nine-minute stroll over to Coors Field to catch a Colorado Rockies baseball game, while culture seekers are just a short distance from downtown landmarks like the historic Union Station and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

A really beautiful hotel in the RiNo district of Denver
The property was beautiful, the staff were super lovely and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable.
We were told we could use what we wanted on the mini-bar as the bar was closed upstairs for labor day. However the glasses and the spoon left on the bar were both dirty as if they hadn’t been cleaned so we didn’t use either. It didn’t bother us too much as we were jet lagged anyway but just thought the price was quite high for this to be the case.

Nice experience but would probably not go back because of value.
Unique and vibrant, great service and staff.
A bit over priced, especially given the location and lack of parking and forced to valet. Didn’t like the bathroom barn door, didn’t like the traditional key system for the room. Paid $50 CAD for two coffees and 3 baked goods.

Disappointing
It's a beautiful space, and that's really what you're paying for. If you are motivated to do it for the gram - this is the place for you. Beautiful lobby and the rooms are cute. Friendly service.
The bed was TERRIBLE. I've slept on better mattresses in youth hostels. The pillows were incredibly lumpy and felt like they'd been stuffed with cotton balls. Enraged when I still couldn't fall asleep at 3:30am, I pulled the pillow case off to see what kind of dollar store brand pillows they'd stuck me with. I don't know why I did this - I don't know anything about pillows! The point is - this is the worst hotel bed I've ever slept on. And for the price - that's absolutely unacceptable. As others have noted, the rooms are small - but comparable with nice hotels in Europe. It's just tight, and you have to deal with the irritating new trend of no closet or luggage stand. Not the end of the world. It's basically a glorified bar with beds - if you're here for a bachelorette party, planning to (spend a small fortune to) get hammered at the bar and stumble upstairs to bed, this place would be awesome. Just don't stay here if you actually need to be functional the next day.

Fantastic place to rest and recharge
It was beautiful and the helpfulness of the staff can not be understated. The cocktails were phenomenal and overall we had a great stay
Breakfast was disappointing. Over $100 for in room dining has been expecting real cups and plates.

This place is like a warm hug from the minute you walk in. Such a cool lobby that sets the stage for a great stay
Cool and funky place. Welcoming staff. Great restaurant and bars on staff.
Rooms were quite tight. I missed some sort of luggage rack or even someplace to put luggage. Also, the taps didn’t produce overly hot water. Very warm, but not hot.

Lovely base-camp for comfort, conviviality and creative workers.
The Ramble is my go-to at least once per year when I am in Denver. It's vibrant, cozy and scrumptious - both for food and drink. It's a lovely urban retreat and a great place for a work base-camp as well, especially for meetings in the airy cafe.

Very clean and nice rooms. The decor and furniture is really good and makes a comfortable room
I wish there were some more amenities, but it was fun to go to the two bars.
