It was a pleasant stay, the localization is okay, close to the metro and bus. The staff is nice and helpful. It's a cool object that also offers you some cultural or bar-party experience. You can also use kitchen where you can find glass for your wine :)

The rooms weee very basic. No mirror or safe etc.

Stylish place and area, with good transport links to get to the city centre. There is also a lovely bar just downstairs, and plenty of good looking restaurants within 5 min distance which do not feel like a tourist trap, as this is very much a work area for many locals.

The air con wasnt great in the room so it was hard to keep the room at the right temperature, and there was some smell accumulating in our bathroom if we closed the doors.

The location was perfect. The staff at the bar were lovely and the bar itself was great. The rooms were lovely and stylish.

The lack of reception and the terrible ait conditioning.

An interesting cultural hub - factory converted to art space, bars and hostel. Along with a pleasing aesthetic, the room had all the basics - comfy big bed, power sockets both sides, cold aircon, fan, rack to hang clothes. Shared bathrooms were ok, relatively clean and modern. The rooftop bar was cool, plenty of plants and nice view of the sunset. Beware the mosquito's after dark!

One of the two women's showers didn't work - no hot water. Probably less of a tourist spot and more suited to local Italians, closer to a hotel than a social hostel (negative for us, hard to meet people)

it was very hot when we got into the room which wasnt ideal but aired out quickly with the windows open. Directions for the night entrance weren't super clear so it was hard to find at first.

Great hostel in historic train factory in walking distance to Navigli district and metro.

Recommendation to management: install mosquito nets in all rooms. With open window at night we had a mosquito invasion with over 20 bites each..

Liked the high ceilings in the room, felt very airy and spacious. Nice communal area and kitchenette. Easy to check in. Nice local area. Not disturbed by noise at any point.

Don't personally like having to share a bathroom, but we knew about this when booking and helped keep the cost low.

The location, venue, and the large shared living room/kitchen are great. It's all remarkably clean. The city centre is a short tramride away. Plus, there are many restaurants and a large supermarket nearby.

The top bunk in room 2 has no barrier. It was quite hot in the room, even in early May. Noise is also an issue: there's a busy street outside, there are people coming in and out all the time, and there are events at the venue downstairs at the weekend.

lovely stay , very accessible simple but ideal for travelling and just needing somewhere to sleep while travelling

We really love the location close by the Navigli and also very easy to walk up to the city centre. The aera is very lively, but quiet as well, so we really recommend this place!

Amazing warehouse style massive rooms with really high ceilings. Very modern stylish hotel. The living room and bathrooms are shred which is nice because it allows you to leave your room. I prefer that over staying in a standard hotel room. The staff was helpful before checkin and had clear instructions. Only issue is that we miss the human contact with staff. There should be a reception. I like that human contact. Otherwise the place is really nice! Should have stayed there more days.

No human contact no reception

Large room, comfy bed, cute common space, good location. There was an event on the night we stayed so we were provided free tickets, a drink each and earplugs. The place is quite well soundproofed, so wasn't too loud.

The showers could use an update, the water doesn't flow properly. People were smoking in their rooms and the hallway smelt like cigarettes. There were cigarettes in the bathroom.

Good place and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The location was also fantastic - it was in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and cafes and just a short walk from some of the city's main attractions.

The top bunk is difficult to climb, unprotected and there was a wide gap between it and the wall. We moved the mattress to the floor for the night.

Cold showers

Very clean and centrally located. Nice rooms and warm and well kept shared bathrooms. A lovely atmosphere and great facilities.

We had bunk beds but the top one didn't have sides so it was a bit dangerous, as one could have tripped while asleep. We preferred to move the mattress on the floor.

Good check in and checkout without contact. Warm and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped

Perfect location very close to Navigli's canal with many possibilities for restaurants, bars, etc Room confortable and pretty good mattress . Check-in through codes very easy and functional.

Warm water in the shower wasn't that warm. It is not a typical hotel/hostel and so you need to be aware of it. Nothing wrong, but it is a fact.

There was a nice bar down the hotel. Not very far from the center.

- There was no shower head in the bathroom. Only the top part where you must wash your hair if you want to take a shower. - The bathroom was smelling bad all the time. - There were no lights at the room, just two lamps by the bed. When we asked the reception about it, they said that the windows are too big and there is no need for a lamp in the ceiling of the room. (Emmm, what about during the night?) - there was only one small blanket which didn't seem very clean.

The decor was great, very stylish, the price was cheap and it was all very clean. Great location, easy to get around the city on public transport and lots of restaurants and bar close by, the bar downstairs was really cool and stay open into the evening but couldn't be hear from our room!

Only a few minor things, there was no mirrors in the bedrooms but there were in the shared bathrooms, slight inconvenience. We also couldn't work out how to turn the lights off but keep the power one so we couldn't charge our phone over night.

Great location and room

Had problem on last day nobody there to discuss leaving luggage with, had to pay to leave at station.

A beautiful hostel. Never seen anything like it. It's gorgeous everywhere you look. From the hallway to the rooms, every aspect of the design is considered. The kitchen/common area is just exquisite. Lots of mid century meets industrial touches. The rooms are spacious. Staff that met us were nice and helpful. It's located in a great spot, not too far from the canals. If you have limited time in Milan but want to skip vanity square (Duomo), CasaBASE is close to the canals and they're nice and relaxed.

It would have been great to get directions to the elevator instead of lugging it up to the entrance. The women's bathroom showers were mouldy, smelt and and water pressure in the first stall was so weak it was unusable.
