the location is super , in the heart of alfama district with walkable distance to almost everywhere around . the rooftop bar has absolutely a stunning view with variety of high quality food , drinks and snacks. breakfast and service is 10 out of 10 with the most friendly staff

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Very clean and comfortable. They ran out of teabags...but that was my only complaint! Would definitely use again if I visited Lisbon.

Bed was hard and bedroom small . Air conditioning was only one setting and very cold

The hotel is located off of a small side street in the busy Alfama neighborhood of Lisbon, one of the oldest in Lisbon. It is a neat, well designed and clean hotel. The staff is great! Very helpful and accomodating. The have a nice breakfast buffet. There is an upstairs bar with a beautiful view of the bay. We had dinner at their restaurant one evening where a Fado group performed. They were great! We consider that evening to be one of the best during our stay in Lisbon. Obrigado!

Some of the best views of the city. Small hotel with a feel of exclusivity. The pool area is stunning.

The pool was being renovated while i was there, with an ugly metal fence around the outside. Spoiled the setting a little. Alfama is one of the epicentres of the most touristy part of town. If you don't want to be swamped with tourists maybe an area further north would be better.

Relaxed & comfortable hotel in peaceful cul de sac. Staff welcoming & helpful. A few minor issues keeping up with replenishing supplies at breakfast at busy times , & keeping coffee hot enough.

The Alfama district offers a wonderfully tranquil setting for this lovely and clean hotel, which is well-equipped. The staff are incredibly attentive. I would highly recommend it.

Stayed at the Memmo Alfama for five nights. From arriving at reception to saying farewell 5 days later we enjoyed every minute. The hotel is modern, well designed and in the old part of the city, located quite near to the cathedral. We opted for a room with access to the terrace and were pleased we had paid the little extra. All rooms have access to the terraces which overlook the estuary. The breakfast is exceptional with a large range of hot and cold food available. Eat in your room, in the breakfast room or on the terrace, your choice. So relaxing. The Fado night in the Living Room on the Tuesday was very pleasant. Like everywhere else in Lisbon you need to walk up and down hills to get anywhere. The staff at the hotel (thanks Anea, Monica and Ingrid in particular) are all so helpful and caring. This trip was a gift for my sister and her husband, who was celebrating a big birthday and had never been to Lisbon before. The hotel more than met their expectations. They loved the design and the friendliness of the staff and also said it was easy to settle into the routine of the hotel and feel at home quickly. The location was wonderful.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location and we had a lovely view from our room. The room had plenty of space for two people and was very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast options to order from the menu were pretty small portions.

Having breakfast overlooking the estuary, superb view and great breakfast. There are several terraces all overlooking the estuary, great for a relaxing drink and the location of the hotel is perfect. We normally go our to eat in the evenings but the food here is really good and the view can't be bettered by a street restaurant.

Struggling.....a brighter light in the room for those occasions when you need one perhaps (minor point).

This is a special hotel. I keep daydreaming about my trip and can't wait to go back. The staff are fantastic, approachable and friendly and the location and hotel are just unrivalled.

Great location tucked away in the old town of Alfama, loverly and helpful staff who made our stay relaxing and luxurious. The breakfast each morning was our highlight, fantastic selection of foods and delicious coffee! I’m not usually a hotel breakfast attendee however this breakfast was not to be missed

It was a great design hotel. The rooms, the view, the breakfast were all excellent. The staff at the reception we're great!

The rooms were small especially for us who had 2 big bags. Also the location of the entrance to the hotel although safe is in an alley where not a lot of taxis or uber want to come through. They will want to pick and drop you on the main road where the alley starts. Otherwise it was great for our liking..

Everything was absolutely perfect. The outside area with views is breathtaking.

Honestly, this is my new favourite hotel and have already recommended it to a visiting friend who has booked herself in! It's so charming, totally modern but with incredible views over the totally enchanting Alfama. I'm pretty sure I was given an upgrade with my own private terrace and that was truly really lovely. But even if you don't have that, to sit round the pool - anytime of the day to have a coffee, cocktail or glass of wine is probably going to be one of your highlights in Lisbon. Breakfast and staff were excellent. They were both relaxed and efficient, everything was easy but everything was totally taken care of.

The design and interior of the hotel was stunning, the views over Alfama and out to the river just amazing. The reception staff were also really helpful with their advice and guidance also the bar area and quality of the wines were exceptional.

Upon arrival I was welcomed by the friendliest staff and blown away by the modern yet cozy architecture of the hotel. The views overlooking the city were exceptional. I woke up to a beautiful and delicious breakfast spread. Perfect location where I could get to and from places easily. Loved every single detail and would book again in the future.

The hotel is in a great location in the old part of the city making it easy to explore Lisbon on foot.The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and a super buffet breakfast with cooked choices too including gluten free bread.

Lovely staffs

We had a great experience in the hotel. It is cozy and beautiful. The room was original, with a transparent glass bathroom. The staff was very friendly. It was a very enjoyable environment. We had a sea view, which made the stay even more pleasant. Breakfast was top! We will definitely considering to come back.

We loved everything, and recommend this place highly. Easy to walk all over the old town. Evening atmosphere looking over the Tejo and the old town terrific. Staff just great and welcoming.

Location of the hotel is in the central area of Alfama district and is close to all the good foods and restaurants. View from the hotel terrace is great with lots of sunshine the whole day. Breakfast had lots of selection of fresh bakeries, fruits and cereals and the staff was very friendly. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for us.

The room is a bit small with very limited space for luggage.

Incredible experience at Memmo! We were charmed and fell in love with it. Little details were in every corner, and even the smell of the hotel is exquisite. The level of customer service is unparalleled. We felt welcomed and treated extremely well from the very first moment we arrived, until the last one when they were calling a taxi to take us to the hotel. The breakfast experience was wonderful, with all the staff bending over backwards so we could enjoy ourselves. The room was clean, comfortable, cute, romantic, bright, airy… we loved it! The lotion, body wash, shampoo, everything was top notch. The location was PERFECT, right in the heart of Alfama, which is one of the most romantic, historic, charming and intriguing neighborhoods we’ve ever visited. All in all, this trip to Lisbon was magical, and our stay at Memmo was a big part of it. Obrigado to all the beautiful staff at Memmo, we can’t wait to visit again. It was perfect.

The property's location, amenities, customer service, and breakfast were exceptional. The room was clean, the staff provided helpful service, and the hotel's proximity to numerous attractions was ideal. Bianca delivered outstanding service, contributing significantly to a flawless stay through her helpfulness and respectful demeanor. All staff members provided exemplary service. I plan to return next summer and will specifically request Bianca's assistance; her continued employment is highly recommended as she is a valuable asset to your team.

Location could not have been better, excellent views from the terrace. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were so nice and helpful. Great value for the price!

Brilliant location with a cosy atmosphere and lovely staff

The location of the Memmo Alfama is excellent, with tremendous views across the Tejo river as well as across the roof tops of the old town. The terrace, with the swimming pool, are charming and the breakfast is outstanding. All in all, this is a super boutique hotel which will not disappoint you.

Minor detail really - but we were in Room 1 and the door into the public toilet could do with a soft close mechanism as it bangs sometimes. Fortunately it was lightly used so didn't really disturb us - but would be an easy fix

The outside deck and terrace offered great view and was a wonderful place to relax.

Beyond the gorgeous property and stunning views, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating to me during my entire stay. From start, when I arrived early, to finish, when they helped me book a car to the airport and everything in between, I am forever grateful to the people who made my stay in Lisbon SO extra special. I didn't have air conditioning and they were quick to resolve my warm room. I was greeted with sweet little candies as a welcome when I arrived and the staff was always available for a recommendation and a hello every morning. I appreciated how clean and sunny my room was and it was perfect spot for my holiday.
