The Logan Philadelphia, Curio Collection by Hilton, is a standout art-centric hotel located right on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Named after James Logan, a prominent 18th-century statesman and mayor of Philadelphia, the property leans heavily into its local roots. It feels less like a typical hotel and more like a curated gallery, boasting over 1,800 pieces of locally sourced artwork that celebrate the city’s rich history and industrial spirit.
One of the most eye-catching features in the lobby is “Hombre de Hierro,” or “Iron Man”—a dramatic, topographic steel sculpture that has become the unofficial mascot of the hotel. This piece perfectly captures the city’s deep connection to labor and innovation. Throughout the halls and suites, you’ll find subtle nods to local icons, such as portraits of Grace Kelly, woven into the modern, sophisticated design.
The hotel is a premier destination for those wanting to immerse themselves in Philadelphia’s museum district. It is just a short walk from world-class attractions like The Barnes Foundation, The Franklin Institute, and the Rodin Museum. If you’re looking for iconic views, the Assembly Rooftop Lounge offers panoramic vistas overlooking the Parkway and the Swann Fountain.
Beyond the art, the property offers an underground spa and a rustic, farm-to-table dining experience at Urban Farmer. Whether you’re exploring the nearby Philadelphia Museum of Art or simply enjoying the courtyard, the hotel provides a refined, authentic home base in the heart of the “City of Brotherly Love.”
Expert reviews
“Located in a very central spot formerly occupied by the Four Seasons, The Logan Hotel opened in December 2015 after a thorough redesign. Note the massive chandelier constructed from portraits of famous Philadelphians in the foyer.”
Featured in New York Times’ 36 Hours in Philadelphia.
“Nestled among a forest of commercial towers, the Logan is a natural for Philadelphia’s business-and-meeting crowd, but the spacious rooms, attractive indoor pool and museum district’s proximity make it a great option for leisure travellers.”

A couple of nice days in Philadelphia.
The location of the hotel is perfect.

The location and staff are fabulous.
Location, room, accessibility to the city, security and organization provided by the staff during the parade. Felt safe and secure during a hectic time in the city.
Toilet flusher jammed but we were able to remedy it. The vent in the bedroom appeared to have black mold growing on it.

good experience and value for a single night stay
Excellent staff went out of their way to help us leave the property. We were not there for the Eagles parade.

Staff very friendly except spa manager.
Rooms were roomy and cleaned we d every day. Lounge area with electric fire was cozy. Common cafe was convenient.
Spa refused to reschedule missed appointment and charges me full amount as cancellations 24% tip. Food at Urban Farmer. It up to expectations.

The pool and the view are what I would recommend.
It was good but it wasn’t included as indicated when I booked. Instead it was “charged to my room.” The beds were comfy and we loved the view. Friendly staff.
We wanted to watch a streaming movie on TV and couldn’t. Didn’t love that our room had a door to an adjoining room. Someone left their half-drunk water bottle in the fridge when we got there. Found it difficult to get anyone on the phone to get information.

The hotel is very nice but the amenities are extremely expensive.
The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to have the nice bath. And it was great that the room got very dark with the curtains etc.
There was no outlet in the bathroom for the hair dryer. There was no place to put my clothes except on the floor. The was no central switch for the lights.
The cost of parking was absurd. $70 to park the car when the room was @$200. And a coffee in the coffee bar was $9. Crazy.

Really good hotel and value
This hotel used to be the Four Seasons and it still has the nice design and construction features expected in a mid 1980's Four Seasons hotel. It’s still being maintained reasonably well, so it still looks ok. Staff is really good and hotel was an excellent value the night I stayed there.
Nothing really. It’s not a Four Seasons, but for the price it’s a terrific place to stay.

The Logan was the perfect spot to stay!
This was our first time staying at The Logan in Philadelphia (as local Greater Philadelphia residents) and we truly enjoyed our stay at the property! The lobby was stunning and the employees at the front desk were very welcoming. Check-in took less than five minutes too. Our room had a nice view of the courtyard and was exceptionally clean. The hotel was accommodating to our needs and even sent up bar stools to our room when we needed them for a makeup and hair artist (we were in the city for our engagement party and I had a glam squad with me). We loved that checkout was set for noon (without having to add on additional hours for a late checkout) it really allowed us to relax the morning after such a big night!
The Urban Farmer restaurant attached to the hotel is delicious! Be prepared to wait (30+ min) on the weekends if you don't put your name in ahead of time or make a reservation as it's also open to the public.
There were no bathrobes in the room, the bath towels were stiff and crunchy, and there was no blanket or extra bedding for the bed (just the sheet & a lightweight duvet). Not deal breakers, but at this price point those are average things to expect as part of the in-room amenities for your comfort during your stay.
The only thing in our room that I would consider "dirty" was the Keurig - it looked as if no one had used it in months. It had water stains and coffee grounds splattered about. Since it appeared unclean we did not utilize it but it would have been great to have "free" coffee in the room before heading down to explore the city. We've noticed this issue at multiple "4-star" and "5-star" hotels in recent years. It would be so appreciated if the staff kept up better with the physical machines so they were usable for the guests. No one wants to drink coffee or tea from a dirty machine.
We didn't end up using the valet parking as the price was a bit absurd ($69 per car, yikes!!). There was a self-parking garage just behind the hotel that offered a much better rate ($50 for the night) and we were able to load/unload right by the front doors of the hotel prior to moving the car to the lot.

We had an issue-free stay, where we liked the hotel and especially staying in the city.
The place did the job!
For the price, more was expected. . .

Comfortable friendly hotel
The room was spacious and comfortable
The location was great for the art gallery and city hall.
We had a really good meal in the restaurant one night although it was expensive.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Not the hotel's fault but there were road works next door that started at 7am and woke us up the first two nights.

Brief but very enjoyable stay sand I will return to the Logan
Room was sizeable and very comfortable. Roof top bar is excellent with great views and the location in Philadelphia is convenient..
Check in could have been much more efficient. Staff seemed to keep disappearing for long periods of time whilst checking in guests.

Over night stop in Philly.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms had a musty smell. The corridor to the rooms needed vacuuming. There isn't a changing facility by the pool, so you have to go back up to your room to get showered and changed.

A very modern hotel supplies everything you need with a courteous and professional staff
A very modern and efficient property to stay at as a traveler or a tourist or traveling on business. Though a wonderful urban farmer restaurant is directly inside the hotel so no need to even search for a restaurant outside.
Wish there was a small gift shop or merch room to buy a gift for somebody or to have sundries available.

A delightful overnight in a one of America's oldest cities.
My adult daughter and I stayed one night. Beautiful hotel, with a lively mid-down vibe. The host at the front desk was friendly, professional, helpful, and welcoming. We checked in after the dinner hour and the room was ready. After dropping our bags in the room, we visited the rooftop bar and enjoyed drinks and an appetizer. The suite I booked was advertised as having two beds, a pull-out sofa would have been perfectly acceptable. However, when we retired, we discovered the pull-out sofa/second bed had not been made, nor was there any mattress cover. The hotel manager was apologetic and offered rewards points - conensurate guest recovery, in my book. As far as food, we ordered breakfast to the room from the farm-to-table style restaurant on the main floor. Breakfast was exceptionally good.
We would have enjoyed a longer stay! There was little we did not enjoy. The breakfast arrived take-out style, not on a cart or tray. It was an odd way to receive room service, especially at this echelon of accommodation.

Decent for one night stay
Location, nice onsite dining and bars
Room has antique feel, which is nice, but, rooms could use a bit of updating. Air conditioner wouldn’t work in auto mode, television didn’t turn on, bathroom (especially toilet) not clean under the rim. Common hallways were filthy.

Beautiful hotel and clean
Beautiful hotel and location. The front desk girl was very nice and helpful. We had a nice view from our room too.
Parking was crazy expensive $69 a night for valet or $55 a night for the parking garage. And the security deposit was $150 per night. I guess I should’ve looked into it a little more before booking.

I will definitely stay there again and have recommended it to family members who have already stayed there.
There was a beautiful view. The room was comfortable. We could walk to the Barnes.
It took too long to get food.

Not planned stop.
The hotel is well located in a beautiful part of Philadelphia. It gives you a good impression when you enter and it can offer a lot of services.
The Hotel was a bit dirty with some dust on some forniture and also the moquette is dirty.

Nice stay and staff
Location is great
Rooms needs updating also elevator does not feel safe no fob system. Everybody can just go to your room from the street

Definitely would come back
The guest service was excellent even at the onsite restaurant
The noise from the attached room was too loud but the front desk attendant and security was amazing about it

It was nice overall
The location was great the facilities was wonderful .
The lack of water yall provided was terrible . I shouldn’t be dying of thirst while at the hotel . The menu at the restaurant was ok . No finger foods for appetizers was kind of a shock too

A very enjoyable stay and the quality of the hotel added to that experience
A very nice hotel. Very pleased with the room and location. Places of interest were within walking distance
I honestly cannot think of anything

Great hotel and location, but don't park your car there.
Love the Urban Farmer restaurant
The price of $69 Parking at the hotel overnight while being a guest at the Logan is ridiculous. That cost is about 32% of what we paid for the stay. Very overpriced.

Overall I’d choose this hotel again I enjoyed the stay despite of the things I didn’t like.
Very beautiful and clean and the staff were nice the views were amazing. The bathroom was amazingggggg and all the shower and hair products were amazing as well .
The air in my room was not working on an 95 degree day which sucked. My carpeted flooring smelled very damp and maintenance never bought up the fan that was requested

Ideal location, make sure you plan for parking
The location of the hotel is ideal. Located close to the museums and the city centre.
Parking is very expensive, use the local app for better rates.

Really great hotel in one of the best locations in Philly
Property in general- great communal spaces and bedroom
Previous Four Seasons
We chose to park in a garage ax the street which was one minutes walk for less than a third of the price (with unlimited in and out privileges)
I was overcharged on checking in (on top of the hefty deposit!) though management did sort this out for me
