Great locations, comfortable rooms, nice little perks like wine at happy hour and good coffee in the lobby in the morning. Loved the location in a quiet neighborhood (Japantown bordering Pacific Heights) that was totally central and accessible.

Really no quibbles! This is so minor, but the hallways could use a renovation--the rooms are lovely and sleek but the halls look a little tired.

The hotel structure is great and really comfortable. Even though we were on the first floor, no outside noise was bothering us. The staff was really friendly and ready to help at any time. Location is a plus. It's in Japantown a couple blocks away from a bus stop that takes you to the Financial District but it's also a decent walking distance from some key tourist locations.

We had to complete assignments while we were on this trip. The hotel had good wifi and a study area in the lobby. They also had fun amenities like a record player, an outdoor patio with games, and a bar/restaurant on site. The hotel was literally just a few steps away from Japantown center, so the location was great.

For Tesla drivers, they only have 2 spots for you to charge. Otherwise, everything was great!

A beautiful hotel with great staff. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The area is unique and feels quite safe. They held our luggage on check out day allowing us to go out without worrying about leaving our stuff in the car all day.

Parking garage was full even though we arrived not long after check in, so we had to park a couple blocks away.

The location was amazing, specially to enjoy Japantown. Lovely region to walk, even at night. The rest of the city is easily reachable by a short bus ride. Staff were helpful to provide things we needed (a pair of scissors, bicycles etc.) and even the housekeeping staff was very friendly. Rooms were great, and the free green tea provided was delicious. The courtesy coffee in the morning and wine in the evening was a nice touch.

It was great to have free bikes to use, but they need some maintenance.

I asked for a quiet room and was given an adjoining room. Could hear people on the other side of the door. I chose a room facing the patio, which was pretty, but sounds/voices traveled up, but it wasn't a problem except 1 night that people stayed out there late.

Dog friendly hotel. Awesome. Where else in the SF area can you find FREE pet stay at your hotel? The room was clean. The bathroom was clean and roomy (large walk in shower).

Nothing to not like. If I had to be picky the parking garage was small and packed full.

It was very clean, modern and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Everyone was super nice and it just had an overall friendly vibe. I loved that it has a parking garage and parking was included in our package. We had a beautiful city view room.

The only small thing I didn’t like was the coffee.

The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. it had a great view of town. the location to Japantown was perfect! The staff is very friendly and helpful. the parking garage was so convenient too because it is hard to find parking.

Unhappy receptionists, they need to be little more professional and welcoming, and no parking for everyone even though its advertised as it has parking on site

New, clean, person at the desk when we got in early was so accommodating. She let us get into the garage, and store our bags with her until we could check in. She also advised us that we could check in early on a ground floor room right then or wait for a better room up a few floors in a few hours. The happy hour with wine in the evening and coffee in the morning was a nice perk. Nice to have 2 EV chargers dedicated to Teslas which I drive.

The #1 thing that bothered us was on the morning we were to leave, we had the do not disturb sign out and at about 9:30am, the maid knocked on our door, after she had already asked me when I went out for coffee, when we were checking out. We found her to be too aggressive and had we been asleep when she knocked, it would really have been maddening. Why post the DO NOT DISTURB Sign?! The sink area offered very little space for this mother/daughter to have room for makeup although the bathroom was quite spacious. There seemed to be a constant low whistle due to the wind. That may have been due to the fact that this was in the spring and there is a lot of that in CA at this time of year.

Location was lovely, near Filmore and Japantown. Lots of food options close by.

Rooms were small, parking was tight.

The room was spacious for 3 people and very clean. The beds were super comfy! Location was amazing, quiet and safe. Parking was included in the price so we didn’t have to worry about it. The stuff was very polite! Also, during the holidays they offered complimentary coffee, tea or hot chocolate with multiple toppings!

The room needs a bit of renovation or redecoration. It might not be that old but decoration is dull and it looks old.

Gracious staff. Eager to please. Hot chocolate in am & complimentary happy hour. Easy walking distance to japantown places. Easy to take dogs in & out. Ask about their lovely courtyard & relaxing room with a record player! Adorable.

This hotel is just in the right spot - Japantown and all it has to offer. It's easy to get to anywhere in the city from this excellent location. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. The lobby decor and ambience is welcoming and pleasant.

The bedding and the pillows. The beds were never made such that the bottom sheet was actually fitted around the mattress, and I'm not talking about a fitted sheet. (the sheet slid around a lot). The pillows were never comfortable, even if one tried to stack the pillows to achieve some kind of firmness for one's head. Wish there had been a chair in the room (other than at the desk) for reading.

Superb hotel in the heart of Japantown. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room clean, modern, spacious, bright and quite. They offer complementary tea and coffee in the morning.

Quiet. Clean. Nice neighborhood. Not part of the hustle and bustle of union Square but you can get wherever you need easily. Very friendly staff. Outdoor space with chairs and fire pit. Parking (for an extra fee). Good sized room compared to some boutique hotels. Bathroom of adequate size. A place you could stay comfortably in for several days while on a trip to SF.

Would stay there again. Not near BART but uber was easyl. And likely near other transit such as buses.

Really excellent front desk service! Loved the location right in the heart of Japantown, very easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Street outside our window was quiet at night (no traffic noise or crowds) and room was very spacious and comfortable.

Great location! 2 minutes to Japan Town, and close to USF where my nephew goes to school. Loved the Japanese (and Korean) restaurants - all of them had fantastic food and fairly-priced. We even discovered a Thai restaurant across from the hotel. The room was spacious enough for us and 2 kids. Beds were really comfortable and we were at a corner room which was really quiet! Our fave breakfast/brunch place was Sweet Maple! Millionaire's bacon is the bomb!

It would have been better to have an onsite restaurant to order from but since all eating places were close by and there was morning coffee served, it was not such a big thing.

Walking distance to Japan Town with many restaurants and shops that had great food. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the mattress and beddings. The bathroom was spacious and we could request all sorts of quality amenities. True to their signage - if you don't have it, we got it! They had morning coffee and evening relaxation with wine and even had entertainment.

There was nothing to not like.

It was out of the tourist area yet close enough to walk. We love sushi so being across from Japantown was a bonus we hadn’t planned on.
