Hotel Le Soleil, Vancouver

Location it was very easy to walk around the waterfront, shops plus very close to walk to public transportation (buses, trains) The decor was 10 out of 10 - wow lovely place, Staff very friendly and helpful from the porters to the reception staff - nothing a problem Very clean, beds comfortable, linen luxurious A bonus when we arrived is that we got up graded to the penthouse suite and given a free (delicious) breakfast - amazing best room we have stayed at

Drop off location uses the side street or the busy street in front of the hotel.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and were very kind to my kids. Room service was excellent. Provided a mini crib for my infant. Housekeeping was fast and thorough. Love the separate sitting room, especially if traveling with young children.

That the blackout curtains don't close all the way.

The staff were all fantastic! Hotel is beautiful.

The bed sank in the middle and was too hard for my old back. I slept on the pull-out couch, which was more comfortable.

I liked all the space the room offered, and the large bathtub, It was very centrally located, so it was easy to get around without a car.

The bed pillows are very firm, I did not find them comfortable. A view or a shared outside space with a view would be nice.

The staff are really exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure that you are happy and will make an effort to fix it if not. The rooms are nice - the separation of bedroom and living room can be helpful for business travellers, although it would be better if there were a door in between the spaces. The room was clean, and the coffee/tea supplies and free water were very much appreciated.

Although the hotel is really lovely, the price feels high for given the amenities (e.g., no private pool or spa onsite, no airport shuttle, no included breakfast).

I booked an executive queen suite and the room was lovely. the bed was very comfortable and while I didn't really use the sitting room, it would have been great if I had been sharing the room with someone. My room was on the 10th floor and felt safe, comfortable and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for access to town, the convention center, and close enough to BC Place that I walked everywhere. The robe and slippers was a nice amenity and I appreciated that I could check my luggage prior to check-in and after check-out.

I have no complaints. Every place in Vancouver, in the city, is pricey and I feel that my investment in Hotel Le Soleil was worth it!

Beautiful hotel with staff very attentive. The restaurant was delicious and the service was superb

Check in process was really easy and staff were really friendly. We were able to access our room earlier than check in time, the room was really clean, big and had good facilities. The location was great and I loved the smell of the lobby. They also stored our bags with ease after checkout.

Beautiful boutique french style hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Staff were wonderful, facilities excellent. Very close to Canada Place and Pacific Central. Bed was comfortable. We had a sitting room as well as a bedroom. Decor was lovely. We were amazed at how quickly the elevators came. Our previous hotel we waited every time for up to 20 minutes.

A smallish hotel in downtown Vancouver with beautiful classic decor in lobby and easy walk to the waterfront, Stanley Park and Gastown. Also close to public transport. Lovely large room, windows opened (yeah), nothing was a problem to staff, super comfortable.

The location near to almost all tourist spot in Vancouver, and near free shuttle to Grouse Mountqin and Capilano suspension bridge. Staff services and all facilities all good. And lastly the breakfast , two tumb up for it. French style breakfast ala carte, love it very much.

Free bottle water in room taste strange to me.

The spacious suites, the free breakfast at Alouette restaurant next door. The staff & housekeeping was all wonderful.

The air conditioner was loud in room 306, I am a very light sleeper so it woke me up on a few occasions.

The staff are exceptional for Vancouver, every other facility I visited were almost clinical in their treatment but the staff here were extremely hospitable and aimed to deliver a fantastic service

Elevators are a little slow but that’s about it

The location was absolutely perfect. Close to the waterfront and Downtown, easy to get the train to and from the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a really nice room. It was also very quiet.

We had breakfast on three occasions. The first two times were fine, but the last time, we waited a really long time, and the food was served cold and not to our liking, but to be fair did not impact our stay whats over.

All staff interactions were warm, welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the kind gesture of a bottle of champagne on arrival to help us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.

Breakfast was awesome. Very clean and staff was great. Location was perfect. Would schedule again.

It was a really quirky and quaint room decorated in the French style. Really comfortable king sized bed. Our greeting at front desk by staff was really nice. The breakfast in the little restaurant was delicious - the buttery croissants were soo next level. Close walk to harbour for our cruise the next day.

I had nothing to complain about. A little overpriced but everything in Vancouver is overpriced!

The service was excellent and privacy was respected. We travelled long haul and needed space and comfort as we adjusted. Thanks

Very disappointed with breakfast. First it was served ice cold. Then the sauce for the eggs Benedict was terrible. I was ill afterwards. The tv system didn’t work during our visit.

Wonderful location, beautiful hotel

Very quiet in the rooms. Large rooms with separate lounge. Location. Convenient for Canada Place,. Many cafes and other eating places within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Included breakfast is very good and happy that it includes fruit juice as well as coffee / tea. Comfortable beds. Good wifi. You can open windows in the room and get fresh air rather than just having aircon. A genuinely classy, boutique feels to the hotel.

Rooms are quirky with numerous different ways to open cupboards, doors etc. Took us some time to work out how to close the bathroom door and find both the fridge and hairdryer. Wish the breakfast offered eggs of any style rather than just scrambled. The other options we tried (eggs Benedict and the omelette) were much better.

Excellent and friendly service, great location, breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good, bonuses like free bikes to hire.

Excellent location within walking distance to Canada Place. Burnard Skytrain station is just round the corner. Bed and pillows are comfortable.

We booked the suite with queen size bed. The bed seems a bit tight for 2 persons. Should have asked for king size bed. At the price we paid, a complimentary breakfast should be offered.

Two blocks from the cruise port, which is where we were going after. We felt like Royalty. The concierge was brilliant. We were given an upgrade to a penthouse suite! Absolutely fantastic, far exceeded our expectations.

Good location and nice hotel. Could use a little updating but was comfortable and had nice facilities. Staff was friendly and restaurant and bar was very nice.

AC made loud noise when it comes on, remote control for the TV was difficult to operate, construction across the street which made jack hammer sounds every morning

Big desire to satisfy the guests. When I asked for a vanity mirror they made sure to find me one. Opened to any feedback and will make sure to make it right. Really polite and caring employees. The possibility of having access to the YMCA next door is a great opportunity. Breakfast was incredible. I will come back for my next trip in Vancouver 100%

Close to Granville area with all the stores. Very nice helpful staff. Let us check-in an hour early.
