Comfortable bed, great customer experience

Great location in the heart of downtown Vancouver with good sized, well appointed rooms.

Air conditioning was a little challenging to get right.

The hotel was luxious and in a great location central to everything.

Fabulous staff, clean as can be with truly perfect bedding and mattresses. Le Soleil is in the most perfect location if you enjoy walking downtown for ahopping amd dining. Lovely French decor with a really fun and delicious French Bisro, Alluett. Highly recommend a stay here.

We booked this as last minute accommodation after our first place cancelled that day. The staff were very helpful and even put together a small present for our two year old’s birthday that day. Location was great and we bought breakfast at Alouette too, which was fantastic - really tasty.

I really appreciated the exquisite decor and furnishings, the crisp linens, and the incredibly friendly staff. My room was always very quiet (albeit on the 10th floor) and access into the hotel was so simple and unimpeded. The desk staff always greeted me with a warm smile.

I wish there was more on site for fitness - but that's all. The complimentary pass to the gym next door was great and that facility was very nice, it would just be more convenient to have some weights located near my room.

The staff was one of the most friendly staff I’ve experienced at a hotel. They were super accommodating and helpful. They even upgraded our room type as a surprise and had champagne delivered to our room for our anniversary. We hung out with a few friends that live in Vancouver who asked how I heard about this hotel because they also were impressed with its unique French boutique style. We will definitely be back!

Great location, excellent staff, awesome room, terrific restaurant, and comfortable stay. Good wi-fi, quiet room, comfortable bed, enough room space, secured parking, and nice location downtown Vancouver. Staff was the best. Front desk, bell, and housekeeping were perfect. Overall rating is 10/10.

Our room with separate living area and sofa bed for our 2 kids made this great value. The breakfast in the attached restaurant was of a high quality (a la carte, not buffet). Location was in the quieter side of downtown but just a couple of blocks from Granville street with all the shops, and Gastown and the waterfront.

Duvet was too hot, even with air con running all night. A lighter duvet would save the hotel on Air con costs! The air con fan was noisy.

The staff were all amazing!!! The room was clean. Location was perfect.

Hotel Le Soleil was wonderful. The room was large and comfortable, and I don't have a single complaint, except that maybe the bed was a tiiiiiiny bit uncomfortable, but not too bad at all. Parking is perfect and easy.

The hotel itself is pretty simple, no real amenities (at least that I saw) other than a restaurant (expensive) and a check-in counter. Parking is super easy, though, so that was a huge plus.

The front desk girl on numerous occasions was not friendly or helpful, however the other staff made up for her. The heat in the hotel was wsy to high.

i would have preferred to have the facial towels replaced. After we used that housekeeping came to removed the used facial towels but did not replace them. Not a big deal at all though

I loved the location of this hotel. Everything was walking distance and we enjoyed discovering this part of Vancouver! Beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed for our child. Great quality! Good bathroom, great amenities.

We had a room that only had one window in the bedroom part. It felt a bit tucked in when sitting in the living room area. But I guess we got a good deal on Booking and this was the room we paid for. If you like light and a more spacious feeling, do yourself a favor and book a different type of room.

Thought they indicated they had an indoor pool it was in fact a user agreement with the YWCA next door which made it inconvenient

We enjoyed our stay and lovely breakfast at alouette.

I found the heat/cooling a bit hard to regulate in the room. The front desk staff could be a bit friendlier/warmer for a nice hotel like this at these prices.

We loved this hotel. It is beautiful. Has a very cool old world feel. We also loved the restaurant, Alouette Bistro. We sat up at the bar both days and had so much fun. The staff there are also fantastic.

Excellent location, within walking distance to Vancouver Convention Centre. There is a nice French restaurant, Alouette, connected to the hotel.

I really like the decor in the hotel. Most of all I’m very impressed with the Personnel in every department for their friendly , personable & professional service. This includes Front desk, Housekeeping & Room Service. Special treatment of a lady in our part who was celebrating a landmark Birthday.

The cost of a parking space is high; $48.

It's a nice place with fantastic staff. Also, passes to access the YWCA door are included with the room.

Love the entrance room before the bedroom. Not many hotels have that additional space!

It was truly boutique, and a breath of fresh air from commercial giant hotel chains with every room impersonally soulless, all profit, and overpriced rooms. It was lovely to have a robe and slippers and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable.

The hotel and location are good

I booked a room with two beds and they gave me one with one bed; on registration, I was not informed. When I spoke to reception, I was told there were no more rooms. I thought it was dishonest that I had not been informed of the change.
