Everything, beautiful hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nothing was a problem. Room was available very early which really helped so much..

The location is very convenient

No porter for a luxury hotel.

It was truly boutique, and a breath of fresh air from commercial giant hotel chains with every room impersonally soulless, all profit, and overpriced rooms. It was lovely to have a robe and slippers and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable.

The hotel and location are good

I booked a room with two beds and they gave me one with one bed; on registration, I was not informed. When I spoke to reception, I was told there were no more rooms. I thought it was dishonest that I had not been informed of the change.

From the entrance to the room everything was excellent: the pink grapefruit, orange smell in the lobby, professionalism of the front desk clerks and maids, the carpets, the walls the decorations, the architecture, the furniture...everything was thought well by the designers and by the owners.

Nothing to mention here. Everything was above expectations.

One of the nicest boutique hotels we’ve stayed in. Warm, charming décor and impeccable attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A truly special place to stay in Vancouver — highly recommend!

The convenience of the location, the room was great, and the staff were all very professional and friendly.

The staff were very kind and helpful! The room was really pretty and very comfortable! The location was great - you can walk to everything.

We didn’t know that the pool (and the gym which are next door) are only for guests 15+ so my son could not use the pool - not a big deal but would have been nice to know. On Saturday night there was live music close by which we could hear in our room.

Parking cost is expensive.

Only problem was bar wasn't open on the Monday evening but there are plenty of places around but just wanted to relax in the bar for a drink. Had Breakfast next morning, great.

I love the sitting room area. So much more delightful that a room with a bed.

This French theme hotel is beautiful! There are so many interesting nooks and things to see. The Alouette Restaurant was fantastic, both for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend!

The only thing was that the air conditioning at night was loud enough that we could hear it. But we’re light sleepers, and it kept the room at the perfect temperature.

This hotel is a hidden Gem in downtown Vancouver with great rates, a fabulous restaurant and good pricing! I will definetly rebook next time I am in Vancouver City!

The room was amazing, we were on the top floor with balcony access and a king sized bed in the bedroom. We had a separate sitting room to enjoy either watching tv or reading our favorite book. The room came with a few complementary drink options beside just coffee or tea which showed the hotels extreme level of thoughfulness and dedication to their guests comfort while staying with them.

Air conditioner a bit noisy cutting in and out at times

Staff were Xclnt. And the location was Perfect.

I'd never heard of this hotel and was not sure what to expect given the competitive rate offered. It exceeded my expectations entirely. Great location. Really great staff and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Ended up needing a second night which was just as comfortable. It's a boutique hotel so some of the rooms are quite small and or quirky layout, but no more than what you often have in Europe or UK. For the price, I was really pleased with the find/stay.

The restaurant in the hotel (Hydra) is apparently quite good but it's pricey. Loads of good options in the area though so not a problem.

No dislikes - the decor is not as modern as other hotels but is still nice, comfortable and clean.

The room was very comfortable with good amenities. It was a quiet and relaxing space. The breakfast in the Allouette Bistro downstairs was freshly prepared and very tasty. All in all, it is very good value for money for a downtown Vancouver location

I hate paying to park anywhere but I understand its necessary

This hotel is simply amazing and exceeded all our expectations. We specifically chose another hotel that claimed to have one more star and was more expensive, but it turned out to be much worse than this one. The interior is absolutely stunning, and the view from the window is very beautiful as well. The staff is wonderful — friendly, professional, and attentive. The breakfast is excellent and worthy of a Michelin star. Once again, the rooms are extremely comfortable — so comfortable that you truly feel like a queen staying there. Everything is thoughtfully provided: quality toiletries, shower caps, slippers, bathrobes, and even a double room setup, which is very convenient when traveling with a child. Two TVs, a perfect location right in the city center — everything is easily accessible. This hotel is simply gorgeous and truly underrated. Highly recommended!

I like the location, cleanliness, and amenities.

The staff was very accommodating & friendly. They gave us 3 women an upgrade to the Penthouse which was an awesome surprise. The restaurant inside the hotel is French with very good food.

I really appreciated that they let us check in very early and upgraded our room without asking to give us a balcony. The staff at the front desk, the housekeeping, and everyone working there were very friendly and efficient. The room was a fabulous layout, as we had a corner suite with a separate living room and sofa bed. The location was perfect and we enjoyed having a secure place for our car right in the same building underneath. Will definitely stay there again.

Loved it all, great location, great suite, great breakfast. We stayed with 2 kids and the suite was ideal. We were all delighted with the hotel

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, although it was not a buffet. They kindly facilitated our check-in by giving us one of our two rooms about three hours earlier than expected, which we really appreciated. After checkout, they also allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel for a few hours, so we could explore the city before heading to the airport. The housekeeping staff were also very polite and responsive, which added to the overall positive experience.

There was a bit of confusion at first, as it seemed that only one of the two rooms was showing under my reservation in their system. However, once I showed my Booking.com receipt, they fixed the issue immediately. Another minor downside was some noise during the day coming from the neighboring room, as there appeared to be a leak and contractors were working on repairs.

The location is right in the heart if downtown, friendly helpfull staff and super clean room

Le Soleil is my favorite place in Vancouver whether to stay, dine or meet friends at the bar for a drink. The boutique hotel is quaint, charming with a European flair and extremely professional and pleasant staff. The rooms and beds are always very comfortable and the location is unbeatable to walk everywhere downtown.

Overall nice atmosphere, clean, I arrived a little early and I was able to check in, L’Occitane amenities were a lovely touch.
