Cute boutique hotel.. Close to beach Restaurant on site

Happy hour .. too short I was 5 min late and wasn’t given our complimentary cocktails and the coffee hour same thing.. I think customer service is so critical and some grace should be granted if you’re a few min late..

Amazing beaches within walking distance. Room was clean. Good on-site restaurant.

I wanted to extend my stay, the staff said that they would get the manager to contact me next morning however none of that happened. I then checked out and moved to another hotel. The instruction on the tap on how to get hot water in the shower seemed ambiguous but once i figured it out, it was fine. Not great seaviews from the room i booked.

Comfy beds, 1 block from beach, pretty convenient location, cheap-ish parking garage nearby, free towels and beach chairs provided, small "gym" area on roof. Great value for money.

No parking, "gym" area is a little small, quality of beach chairs and towels provided can be improved. But for the price, can't complain too much.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Croydon. Everything from the ambience, to the aesthetic, to the rooms themselves were absolutely wonderful. It's right across the street from the beach (private entrance), and it's sundeck/rooftop had amazing views of Miami Beach. The staff was delightful and very cordial. I'd definitely stay again.

If I had to complain about something it would be the parking situation, but then again, parking in Miami Beach is already challenging lol.

Location is amazing - the hotel is located 2 mins walk from a lovely beach. There is a cozy swimming pool and also a rooftop terrace. Conveniently there is a restaurant right in the hotel. They offer fresh cucumber water in the lobby, and also morning coffee and happy hour drinks. The room had a very comfy bed and also a fridge.

The AC was old, big and very noisy. It was impossible to sleep with it on at night due to high noise. In Miami it was very hot so without AC in the room it is really hard. The hotel is a 4-Staravoitava one but AC is really outdated. Also shower curtains looked overused and old. Water pressure was low. Elevators took over 5 minutes each time to come. Also, although the staff was smiling, I didn’t feel they were genuinely warm. There was some attitude, that’s for sure. Maybe this is common for Miami…

Spectacular hotel, very good location, friendly and helpful staff. We didn't like the breakfast served at the TAVERNA restaurant, it was the same every day and the staff weren't friendly when they realized we were coming from the hotel. The hotel is really very good.

Very good location, near to the ocean. Nice staff, nice room and very good pool. Under the hotel find it a nice american restaurant. I like this boutique hotel. I would like a go back.

Way overcrowded at the pool made it impossible to enjoy, restaurant not great, tons of families with kids created a specific “ambiance”

Great location 3 mins from beach with 2 big double beds and air-conditioning. Low key live music in the bar, good drink selection and tasty breakfast options. Nice pool area and an authentic old colonial-style non-corporate feel to the whole building. What a bargain find!

Pool could have been a bit cleaner but had inflatables and no children in it! Perfect for chilling

Gym equipment on the terrace is rusty and hardly worth using. Some peculiar odor in the Lift which was a bit off-putting.. wash basin has no counter space making it a bit inconvenient.

Perfect location, easy to get to south beach for nightlife or stay outside it for a quieter evening, also really close to beach, Bar staff Carlos Sahara and Jenni were fabulous

Clean staff came in the room while we were in there. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable.

Tasty breakfast, although the options are few. Room accomodations exceeded our expections, The working crew is very polite and helpful. Tavern bar is awesome too.

Maybe is something that is general, but the prices of food rose alot since my last visist in miami. Food, beverage, it used to be not that expensive.

Everything was perfect, the location is amazing on the beach, easy to transfer during the evening as well. If you wanna go to the downtown or further to coconut groove, little Havana, you should drive or Uber.

The staff was delightful. Definitely one of the top 5 hotels I’ve ever stayed at - cleanliness and comfort well beyond my expectations. The pool was perfect and quaint, but also right across the street from the beach so we hit both. Restaurant food and drinks were great. Will be back!!!

The staff was amazing and let us check in early without paying a fee. They had the room ready as soon as we arrived. The free Happy Hour was real nice! The pool and the rooftop sitting areas were amazing. The location was close to the beach!

The price of the drinks before and after happy hour were pretty high. However, it was Miami, so the price is a little understanding.

Great location in a quiet area, kind and smiling staff.

The bathroom floor got wet everytime we showered, due to a design flaw. Wifi and elevators were slow.

They did a lovely surprise in our room for my moms birthday.

The staff at the front desk and concierge desk was consistently happy to help us no matter how many questions and requests we asked of them. I actually do not think I've ever interacted with such an excellent staff. They were gracious, flexible, and accommodating beyond our expectations. We also loved being only 2 blocks from the 40th street Citi-Bike-Miami docking station. We hopped around Miami Beach via the curvy Miami Beach "Boardwalk" (made of bricks not wood) on Citi bikes day and night. Also, the hotel is one short block from the beach. They lent us beach chairs and beach towels and made everything easy for us.

Good location - nearby stops of free public buses. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with happy hour for hotel guests.

Difficult to find affordable parking place. Check the options before to arrive.

Great value for the cost. So close to beach and convenience food store. Great air conditioning and liked the happy hour free drinks . Convenient to Miami local buses. Staff were very friendly and always helpful.

This property was in a great location. It was VERY clean. I am one who sprays everything in a hotel, and I take my own sheets, blanket, and towels because I don't usually feel like the hotel is clean enough. But, I was very comfortable in this hotel. It even smells clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that would make this hotel even better would be on-site parking. But, parking wasn't that bad in a location close to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Try the Tavern restaurant. It was also very good.

Cute boutique hotel that is a good value. Nice pool area and rooftop deck. Rooms are good sized for this type of building and well furnished. I had a room on the inside "L" overlooking the pool and it was quiet. Convenient for buses up and down Miami Beach and the airport too.

Needed a new mattress - kind of squishy. Housekeeping missed a day too.

Our room was on the floor with the little gym. Was really cute to wake up and cycle. Could see the water from the roof and the pool.

The elevator took 50 years every time we wanted to use it. Stairs were faster.

Great hotel with lovely helpful staff

Perfect location, close to the beach and the creek and the Miami free shuttle bus to Miami Beach Downtown directly in front of the hotel. Staff was always very friendly and the restaurant inside the hotel has lots of tasty food for a fair price (for Miami). The rooftops have an amazing view where we enjoyed the free cocktails during happy hour.

The hotel was great - quiet location and close to public transportation. Pool and rooftop were great - just wish there was an indoor gym but appreciated the cute outdoor set up just couldn't use it when it was raining .

Bed comfort - need firmer mattresses as these feel like you're sleeping on a beanbag / bag of rice. Upgrade linens. Provide robes. Upset stomach in the middle of the night and no kettle to make tea (neither in room, nor at front desk.
