A beautiful property in a prime location. I booked a night here for my parents when our reservation at The Broome fell through, and since I live nearby, 11 Howard was the obvious choice. There’s a reason it’s the go-to spot for those in the know— it’s chic, impeccably designed, and perfectly situated, with destinations like Le Coucou and The Blond right inside. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. Cory is exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure my parents — including my mother who is undergoing chemotherapy — were comfortable and cared for. My parents were impressed and comfortable, and I felt completely at ease and safe leaving them in his hands. Thank you Cory for your kind attention, we are so grateful for you!

The walls are very thin so it’s quite noisy

The service & facilities are not as good as you would expect for the price so we didn’t feel it was good value. Could improve reception area to make it more welcoming.

Semi-new, location was nice, not a lot of food options around.

I loved this spot. I ALWAYS use Conde Nast as a guide to get my hotels - they did not let me down. Also, it was one of the only hotels that I could find with 2 double beds. I don't know if it was the location or that we had a the two double beds but in comparison to other Manhattan hotels this was ROOMY. Rooms were spotless. Staff was lovely, helpful and kind.

There was moderate noise transfer from the room beside us. This wasn't 100% a bad thing (just for people that spend 10+ hours at the MET) - but just as a heads up - there is a hopping nightclub in the 2nd floor of the hotel.

Brilliant safe location. We had water glimpses from our 11th floor room. The room was a great size considering the loaction. The bathroom and room were clean. Beds super comfortable.

No hot water for the 2 days and no-one communicated there was an issue as they did know. I had cold showers as once in the shower I could not be bothered but my daughter wanted a hot shower so each day we had to call the front desk and wait some time for another bathroom to use. 1st night we had to go to the 6th floor although the room was clean. The 2nd night we had to wait longer and were taken to a nearby room on the same floor although it was very obvious many people had been in this room before. Which was not acceptable. We were given 1 free breakfast for the inconvience. Still not acceptable considering we had paid over AUD$800 a night.

It should be a four star hotel not five. Room was dirty it definitely shouldn't be a five star hotel

Location and staff

Ac wasn’t properly installed in the room and the safety box didn’t work.

The people that work there are wonderful. The beds are comfortable. I felt safe. Free bottles of water!

Dog barked one entire night and kept us awake. We were compensated. That was thoughtful. Not enough electrical outlets in the room. Something in the room next to ours was banging on the wall for hours at night. Room was very small and hard to get around in but the cost was very high.

Fantastic location, beautiful design, very comfortable bed and pillows, super clean

Plastic cups and tiny plastic bottles of body wash etc - not very conscious of environment. Zero sense of hospitality - had to ask for bottled water at front desk, no slippers, kettle, coffee or tea options. For over $900 AU per night it felt no frills other than the room itself - which was very nice.

Bed size, bathroom, complimentary coffee and staff. And location!

Air vents in room very old and dusty - felt unhygienic. Also all upholstery covered in marks from heavy use which also felt unsanitary. Would have liked pillow options

Location is great, easy access to various metro stations/subway. Staff very friendly and helpful and facilities were very clean.

The rooms are small, specially if you are staying with your older children, 4 in one double bed room.

The location is perfect, walking distance to the main attractions.

Great location, friendly staff and nice room and amenities. Bathroom is very spacious and attractive.

Don't like the fact that there is an additional room deposit charge on the credit card. There was also room service charged incorrectly to our account, but this was resolved quickly by the staff.

Great location. Comfortable bed and very soft sheets. Nice shower. 2nd floor lounge was convenient to gather. Nice welcome staff.

Main lobby wasnt very large. Wanted coffee maker in the room - no decaf available. Our kids were in a double bedroom and it was very small.

Good location. Walking distance to China town and SoHo shopping also Canal train station

Staff didn’t help with luggage when we checked in and checked out. Cleaning staff keeps knocking on the door at 8-9Am everyday for clean up while we are getting ready to go out. Room is very small and we keep tripping on the angle edge of the bed with our legs.

very clean. the location is super convenient.

there is no way to open the window, at all. so, even if the weather is fine outside, air conditioning is all you have. sadly, at night sometimes there was not enough fresh air, because the room is super compact. and this also means that you will return to the room only to take a shower and go to bed.

It was a nice building, interior was very modern and clean. Location is great if you want a lot of shopping and eating out in nearby neighborhoods.

I had to wait more than 30 minutes for breakfast and decided to go to a cafe outside. Need to improve breakfast in hotel - seemed to lack staff.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Room was super clean & fresh. Staff were friendly & helpful. Restaurant/Bar was superb. Loved everything about our stay here & would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff

Thought the Hotel had a great vibe. It was a great location near to the subway and excellent shopping.

The room was quite small but that is typical of Manhattan. There were not enough plugs in the room.
