Loved the extra perks but what made it so special was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful and the service was excellent.

An amazing staff! The service was always above expectation, always with a smile, never stuffy. Extremely nice, helpful, and friendly. Special thanks to Andre and Paola. Every request was met quickly. One error in breakfst delivery was met with a hand-written apology from the head waiter! The food was terrific: great selections, delicious dishes, and chocolate croissants every day with breakfast in our room. Every floor has "treats" by the elevator: Ours had cookies, candy, plums, and dried fruit. The lobby has a buffet of wonderful snacks. There are arriving gifts of fresh fruit and wine, and also parting gifts (cookies). Pillow menu, lovely sheets, exceptionally clean. etc.

The room (502) was huge, but it needed an improvement in decor. It seemed in a time warp. Everything was perfectly clean, but the furniture needed to be a little more "upscale" for the price. The bathroom floor was marble, and it looked really old. The carpet in the bedroom could be replaced with a wood floor, like in the other hotels we stayed in on our trip. The carpet was clean but dreary.

The Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel is ideally situated in Lisbon and offers wonderful walking tours of the city. The staff are fabulous and extremely helpful. What an amazing place to stay and enjoy the sites.

The hotel is in an excellent location within easy walking distance of Baixa and Cais do Sodre plus stops for the trams and buses are close by as are a selection of restaurants. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to welcome you and answer any questions. There are complimentary snacks and drinks available in the morning and evening and there are organised walking tours twice a day. The mini bar in the room also has complimentary soft drinks and beer. The “146 Bar” is a great spot for a drink in the evening and serves good quality bar food if you don’t want a full meal in the evening.

Overall our room was fine but the bathroom was on the small side and only had a shower over the bath - best to check if you have any mobility issues. The bed was also on the firm side - fine for me but again something to check.

The location is exceptional. The hotel offers several activities, allowing guests to better know Lisboa and the Portuguese culture.

This hotel really understands what makes guests happy. It is full of nice touches like evening wine tastings, welcome basket and wine in the room, afternoon treats at reception, organised walking tours of the city...... all offered complimentary!! The service is outstanding, the room was immaculate and all in a perfect city centre location. I don't think any hotel in Lisbon can beat this one!

The property was beautifully maintained and in a great location. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful - it felt like they’d designed the experience about what we wanted, rather than what they wanted to afford. The small touches were everything during our stay.

The location was perfect, easy walking distance to cool bars, restaurants, shops, attractions. People in the hotel provided exceptional service. We loved the free walking tours, wine and gin tasting, the spa, how helpful guest services were in recommendations and booking for us - exceeded our expectations!!

This hotel was first class , tastefully decorated , clean and great customer service . Location was perfect a few mins from the river and the main attractions .

Breakfast excellent

From the moment we arrived from the airport, we received a warm welcome from the amazing staff of Corpo Santo Hotel. We arrived at 7am ( stayed from Sept. 3-7) and they provided breakfast for us. The central location was excellent, the daily walking tour of Lisbon from the hotel, wine tasting, daily cocktail, cleanliness of the hotel, wonderful staff made this hotel exceptional! Your amazing staff went above and beyond with all our needs while we were there! Lisbon has my heart! We will definitely come back and will stay at Corpo Santo Historical Hotel again!! Thank you so much for making our 31st anniversary extra special! (Special thanks to Christopher, Matheus, Anna, Joana, Joana both for the restaurant and front desk and all the staff from front desk, concierge and restaurant!)

It is in a great location and the facilities are really nice and comfortable. There are so many things included like snacks and water in the lobby, drinks in the frig in your room, daily cocktail, spa. It was fantastic

Our stay was a fantastic experience, thanks mostly to wonderful staff (special thanks to Andre), who definitely exceeded any expectations we might have had regarding customer service. They made us feel like VIPs and although I could see that was their usual treatment of all guests, it still made us feel special :) Add a perfect location - close to Praca do Comercio and Pink Street, but quiet and easily accessible - and complimentary food and drinks for hotel guests. Breakfasts were amazing - with various dishes a la carte, several types of healthy juices, impeccable service. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with modern appliances, including multi-sensory shower cabin). The nearby restaurant recommended by Andre, was a great culinary experience.

Amazing customer service orientation in all the staff we encountered. Appreciated how polished they were, and how well they spoke English. The little touches - free snacks, bottles of water, fruit etc - were also fantastic.

Only comment would be that the dinner we had at the restaurant onsite was very expensive.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel by taxi from the airport, the welcome and assistance from the team on reception was both genuinely warm and professional in an almost old-fashioned, or traditional, way: literally five-star. The location is perfect for exploring this beautiful city. Breakfast was exceptionally good - with an attention to detail in every aspect.

We wished we could have stayed longer - and we certainly will when we next return to Lisbon!

I am very fussy with hotels and can honestly say that the Corpo Santo was fantastic. We loved everything and couldn’t find a single fault. From check in (expediting this as we unexpectedly arrived early), the facilities, our room (including a great bed, comfy pillows and a balcony view), great food (breakfast is unbelievable!!) and the incredible complimentary extras provided - We went on a walking tour with Ana for 2 hours around the old town and learnt so much about the city history. We also managed to attend a wine tasting and got to try some delicious Portuguese wine. Sadly we missed the cheese and gin tasters, but imagine they would have been as good. Also, the lounge downstairs set amongst the old town wall from the 1400’s was wonderful. Genuinely one of the best places I have had the pleasure of visiting - Absolutely lovely place to stay. Loved it.

Not a single thing

We had a pleasant stay in Lisbon. The room service and reception were very good, and we especially want to highlight Ester, who gave us a walking tour—she was extremely kind, friendly, and truly the best staff member at the hotel.

However, the breakfast was disappointing. The variety was very limited, it was not a buffet-style breakfast, and the service was quite slow.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. So many nice amenities - an outstanding breakfast served daily plus other food and beverages available throughout the day, free walking tours twice a day along with workshops on interesting topics, and complimentary spa services. These were all great, but the hotels service is nothing short of amazing. Every staff member that we encountered was both friendly and genuinely helpful. It's rare to find such exceptional service these days.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding! All staff members went above and beyond any hotel we have ever stayed at (including Waldorf Astoria). The complimentary walking tours, tasting workshops (wine and pastel de nata, etc.) and snacks were great amenities. The breakfast was amazing!

We could have used more charging options for our eletronic devices.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, if I come back to Lisbon, I will be staying at there hotel.

Excellent location for exploring all the sites in the historical part of Porto. Breakfast was good, Room was exceptionally roomy and comfortable. Appreciated v much the upgrade. Service was great.

The spa was small and would have loved a massage but it was not available.

Location was excellent. It was well-connected transport-wise. Staff was very caring and proactive. There are several great experiences that made our stay memorable. Would strongly recommend this hotel to whoever wants to stay at Lisbon.

The service was astounding. I arrived with a gash on my leg from a minor accident. I asked for ice. They not only brought ice, the gentleman bought a first aid kit and sat me down and took care of the injury. On another occasion, we asked to find a grocery store. The staff insisted on walking g with us four blocks to show us the store. This has never happened before in staying in a hotel. There is food and drinks I. The lobby at all times, and they have a tapa wine hour in the evenings, Although we had a basic room, it was spacious and beautifully furnished. This is our second time at this hotel and will return if we come back to Lisbon. BTW the location was perfect.

Wonderful luxury hotel with super helpful and friendly staff. Although we only had time to spend one evening at the hotel prior to our Portugal departure, it was an incredible place to finish our trip. Hotel is perfectly located for easy access to Chiado, Alfama, etc. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed with high quality bedding. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a bottle of sparkling wine and free refreshments in the mini-bar. The hotel also provided free city tours and other activities. We especially enjoyed the refreshment bar in the lobby with cookies and candy. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful renovated property in historic building in a great location near the river with easy access to trains & trams and walking distance to everywhere. Super staff available for a chat or help if required. Walking tours are a must to get your bearings and learn about Lisbon - they also know the best way to get you up to the hilly areas the best way possible. Daily treats were a great touch

This hotel is a beautifully redone old building near the water. Very carefully designed and super comfortable. But the best thing is the service. Absolutely outstanding service. Super friendly. Super helpful. And you can tell that everybody who works there loves working there.

From start to finish it was amazing! We loved the free walking tours and all the freebies that the hotel provided! The breakfast was wonderful and a great variety The staff couldn’t do enough for you Make sure someone explains the shower to you as it can be a bit confusing and there are lights and music which are a really cool idea!! The location is perfect and it’s very quiet as well
